Abstract

Konflik berkepanjangan antara Israel dan Palestina di Jalur Gaza tidak hanya menimbulkan krisis kemanusiaan, tetapi juga menyebabkan kehancuran signifikan terhadap situs budaya dan sejarah. Situs-situs bersejarah seperti masjid, gereja, perpustakaan, dan museum di Gaza telah menjadi target serangan, mengancam identitas kolektif masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis peran UNESCO dalam melindungi dan memulihkan situs budaya serta sejarah yang rusak akibat konflik bersenjata di Gaza. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur dengan memanfaatkan sumber terpercaya, seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan berita online, untuk mendapatkan data yang komprehensif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa UNESCO telah berperan aktif melalui berbagai mekanisme, seperti memberikan perlindungan sementara yang ditingkatkan berdasarkan Konvensi Den Haag 1954, memantau dampak konflik menggunakan teknologi satelit, serta meningkatkan kesadaran internasional terhadap pentingnya pelestarian warisan budaya di wilayah konflik. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi keilmuan dalam memahami bagaimana instrumen hukum internasional dan diplomasi budaya dapat digunakan untuk melestarikan warisan budaya di tengah situasi konflik. Dengan mengangkat peran UNESCO, artikel ini menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi global dalam melindungi identitas budaya masyarakat terdampak dan mendorong pengembangan regulasi internasional yang lebih adaptif terhadap tantangan modern.

Abstract

Karakter anak didik yang berusia anak-anak sangat mengandalkan pembelajaran yang berbasis cerita di antara memanfaatkan tradisi lisan. Dengan demikian, pendidik dituntut piawai dalam mengemas pembelajaran dengan bahan ajar yang bersumber dari tradisi lisan. Pendidik dapat memanfaatkan analisis SWOT dalam evaluasi metode pembelajaran. Hal yang penting dari pembelajaran berbasis tradisi adalah kreatifitas mengembangkan sumber tradisi lisan, menggali fakta yang dilisankan, dan mempersiapkan perangkat dukung dalam berkunjung atau menyaksikan tradisi lisan yang dipertunjukkan. Hal ini dilakukan agar anak didik meyakini kebenaran tradisi lisan dan tidak jenuh hanya bertahan di ruang kelas (monoton). Efek positif tradisi lisan yang dipertunjukkan anak mampu menyaksikan secara langsung akan terpancing kreatifitasnya membuat model tradisi lisan khas anak terimajinasi. Kreatifitas sangat penting untuk mengembangkan potensi daya nalar anak. Masa anak-anak adalah masa berimajinasi dengan dimotivasi.

Abstract

The existence  of a community,  wherever  it my be, if it were looked as  dissimilar  as  their  environment,  especially  those  of  minorities, has always had a minor response from the communities  of majority. This is exactly experienced by the transgender community. Those of transvestites are being viewed negatively due to  the irregularities in the way they live and behave. This article tries to formulate a model of humanistic  proseltizing  that is not against  the existence  of such transgender community as objects of the proselytizing (mad’u). Based on a research  on the portrait  of transvestites  in the city of Kudus, Central Java, the author suggests that if the  notion to proportionally placed transvestites is overlooked or that the transgender community is out of consideration for being targeted community (mad’u), then we basically have missed the humanistic character of the mission itself. The  existence  of  transgender  in a religious  observance  is,  indeed, indifference as those of non-transgender community that needs touches of religious  values by a preacher. Denial of human existence to those of transgender (the humanist character) is fundamentally at odds with the mandate of Law Number 39 Year 1999 on Human Rights. If  this is the case, then, it needs to takes  that of humanistic proselytizing approach which  humanize all human beings, including those of transvestites.

Abstract

Al Quran as a source of Muslim inspiration has not been exhumed for the benefit of life. It makes no difference to explore the polemic about early humans when juxtaposed with Western concepts that Charles Darwin revealed in the Theory of Evolution in 1859. The Qur'an does not provide complete data that Adam was the first human being on earth, predicted there were three previous people before Adam, namely Banul Jan, Banul Tires, and Ijajil from the last genie. It's just that the interpretation of the verse of the Qur'an states that Adam was the first man. Thus, this polemic requires deepening which includes cross-scientific knowledge as dialogue capital. The Qur'an emphasizes that the stages of the process of human creation have been fixed, the elements of events include the body (body), life (nafs), spirit (spirit), human events do not go through phases that develop form, as Darwin proposes that humans are allied to chimpanzees. This text uses the method of interpretation of bi ar-Ra'yi or al-'aqli with the type of interpretation of the maudhu'i and the study of the codification era, with the interpretation of muqorin in examining the theme. Dialogizing the contents of the Qur'an with Western theory is not a taboo matter, as Muslim scientists must be in principle that the shrewdness of human reason must submit to the truth of the message in the Qur'an

Abstract

Naskah ini memotret tradisi di Desa Kauman, Kabupaten Kudus, Jawa Tengah, Kampung ini  termasuk dalam kategori padat penduduk, dengan bangunan rumah yang rata-rata menggunakan pagar tembok yang tinggi, sehingga memunculkan anggapan publik jika kehidupan disini tertutup dan individualis. Fakta menunjukkan sebaliknya, mereka memiliki kegiatan rutin dalam forum temu warga dan jenis kegiatannya juga sangat islami. Kegiatan ini merupakan bentuk pelestarian budaya yang mereka namai dengan Khoul Sunan Kudus. Dalam artikel ini akan mengungkap bagaimana tradisi budaya khoul Sunan Kudus? Data riset ini dilakukan pada bulan Agustus-September 2018 diperoleh dengan observasi dan wawancara dan data dianalisis dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Rangkaian acara khoul ini berupa ritual, seremonial, dan budaya/seni islami tiap bulan Muharam/Sura. Acara ini juga sebagai media interaksi antar-warga Kauman lintas usia dan jenis kelamin yang difasilitasi Yayasan Menara Kudus.

Abstract

This paper is based on writings that are genoside on ethnic Rohingya and newspaper coverage. Data were analyzed with a qualitative descriptive approach. Indonesia is a country that is independent but actively participates in global politics including in the case of state or majority oppression against minority ethnic or group, such as the case of Rohingya in Myanmar. Rohingya is a moslem minority ethnic living in Myanmar targeted in genocide and banished from the country under the military government. Meanwhile, the civil leader of Myanmar, Aung Sang Suu Kyi, remains silent despite her Peace Prize Nobel. On the other hand, the political stance of ASEAN needs to be strengthened to find the solution for Rohingya without intervening internal affairs of the country. Indonesia has supported Rohingya people both by delivering humanity aids, such as building school, hospital and providing basic needs, as well as persuading Myanmar government by means of diplomacy to protect Rohingya people. This kind of humanity acts should be maintained for the sake of human rights. Thus, Indonesia needs to ratify the Convention on Refugees of 1951.

Abstract

This article explores social cohesion among Muslim groups in the village of Sragen, which is home to five distinct groups: NU, Muhammadiyah, MTA, LDII, and Salafi, as well as some individuals identified as abangan. Masjid Rohmat serves as the focal point for religious events, such as Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. This research is based on field research conducted in 2023. The data was then analyzed using a qualitative approach. This research has found, despite their differing interpretations and practices of faith, the residents of this village coexist peacefully and harmoniously. Key factors that contribute to this social cohesion include family ties and community activities. Many villagers share familial connections, even if they hold different religious affiliations. For instance, one mother regularly participates in Yaasin and tahlil gatherings, while her son is a member of LDII. In another household, the husband is affiliated with Muhammadiyah, while the wife attends MTA public congregations. Additionally, community members collaborate on various social activities, transcending their religious differences.

Abstract

This research was conducted to understand the home school model of Samin residents in Kudus, Central Java. Research data obtained through interviews, observations, and literature review. Data was analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. Samin’s home school was initially led by Ki Samin Surosentiko during the resistance against the Dutch colonial in Blora and has spread to Kudus until now. Samin residents do not go to formal schools, but form home schools with the aim of protecting their generation from being carried away by the current dynamics. The learning materials focus on the principles of life and to stay away from five taboos: bedok (accusing), colong (stealing), pethil; pinch; and nemu wae ora keno; taboo to find goods. Samin residents do not go to formal schools because they still maintain their ancestral teachings with speech traditions. The educators are parents and traditional leaders. The results of the evaluation are reflected in their behavior in life. The Samin people’s passions are to serve, care for, and protect Ki Samin’s teachings in terms of ordinances, manners, and dharma so that the roots of the noble tradition are maintained. The success of homeschooling is reflected when students behave according to the teachings of their parents and can be followed as examples. The state must be present to provide continuous enlightenment so that its curriculum leads to formal education or equality, while also maintaining that local wisdom is not uprooted from its cultural roots. The role of the state ideally is to explicate with a persuasive approach, so that the teaching material could integrate formal homeschooling. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memahami model sekolah rumahan warga Samin di Kudus Jawa Tengah. Data riset diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan kajian pustaka. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Sekolah rumahan Samin awalnya dimotori oleh Ki Samin Surosentiko di masa perlawanan kolonial Belanda di Blora dan menyebar sampai Kudus hingga kini. Warga Samin tidak bersekolah formal, tetapi membentuk sekolah rumahan dengan tujuan memproteksi generasinya agar tidak terbawa dinamika kekinian. Materi pembelajarannya berfokus pada prinsip hidup dan menjauhi lima pantangan: bedok (menuduh), colong (mencuri), pethil; jumput; dan nemu wae ora keno; pantangan menemukan barang. Warga Samin tidak bersekolah formal karena masih mempertahankan ajaran leluhur dengan tradisi tutur. Pendidiknya adalah orang tua dan tokoh adat. Hasil evaluasi tercermin pada perilaku hidupnya. Obsesi orang Samin yaitu nglayani, ngrawat, nglindungi ajaran Ki Samin dalam hal tata cara, tata krama, dan tata darma agar akar tradisi adiluhung terawat. Keberhasilan sekolah rumahan tercermin ketika peserta didik berperilaku sebagaimana ajaran orang tua dan dapat diteladani. Negara harus hadir memberi pencerahan secara berkesinambungan agar kurikulumnya mengarah pada pendidikan formal atau kesetaraan dan kearifan lokalnya tak tercerabut dari akar budayanya. Peran negara idealnya menjelaskan agar materi ajarnya menjadi homeschooling formal dengan pendekatan persuasif.

Abstract

The Rifa'iyah Islamic Community was established by Kiai Ahmad Rifa'i since the Dutch colonial era. This community used the Javanese Book of Tarjumah Pegon as a means of confrontation against colonialism. This article elaborates Rifa’iyah’s political strategy and how this community keeps existing in the present era. The research has an objective to discuss this community’s political strategy, its existence and the dynamic as an Islamic community in Kudus. The paper uses interview as the main method, as well as observation and documentation using history analysis and accommodation theory. The findings of this research that at the starting point of Rifa'iyah community, it was rejected by residents because of differences in worship based on the teachings of the Book of Tarjumah, for example, praying only with fellow Rifa'iyah members, practicing wedding ceremony based on Rifa'iyah guidance, and only studying the book by Kiai Rifa'i. However, its existence is now accepted due to the accommodating strategy of Rifa'iyah pilgrims. Adaptive political efforts are carried out by the Rifa'iyah community in Kudus to exist and be accepted, for example, by doing proactive steps in the fields of government, social, and culture.

Abstract

Artikel ini mendedahkan agama Adam bagi komunitas Samin di Kudus Jawa Tengah. Tujuan terpublikasikannya agama Adam agar tidak lagi distigma publik pada warga Samin sebagai ateis, pembangkang, kolot, dsb karena publik memahami ajaran agama Adam sehingga terwujud toleransi. Data diperoleh dengan observasi, wawancara, dan mengkaji referensi. Hasil riset, Adam bagi warga Samin sebagai makhluk Tuhan (Yai) terlahir pertama di dunia agar ada kehidupan di alam raya. Agama Adam ajarannya yakni doa, semedi, berpuasa, dan berperilaku baik. Bersemedi tempatnya di rumahnya (sanggar pamujan), yang terbaik untuk berdoa pada tengah malam (tengah latri). Ajarannya diwariskan secara regenerasi dengan bahasa tutur. Kepatuhan atau ketidakpatuhan diri warga Samin atas ajaran agama Adam tergantung kualitas diri. Pemerintah mengategorikan agama Adam sebagai penghayat kepercayaan.
