Abstract

Diabetes is one of the non-communicable diseases that is often detected at an advanced stage, thereby increasing the risk of serious complications. The application of machine learning has the potential to support early diabetes detection; however, most previous studies have focused on large-scale datasets and high predictive accuracy, while methodological evaluations on small-sized clinical data remain limited. This study aims to evaluate and compare the performance of several machine learning algorithms for early diabetes prediction using a limited clinical dataset, with particular emphasis on analyzing the impact of data characteristics on model performance. The dataset used in this study consists of 22 samples with eight clinical features and one target variable, which were divided into 17 training samples and 5 testing samples. The research stages include data preprocessing, training–testing data splitting, model training, and performance evaluation using accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and ROC-AUC metrics. The algorithms evaluated include Logistic Regression, Random Forest, Support Vector Machine (SVM), K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), and XGBoost. The experimental results indicate that none of the evaluated models were able to effectively detect the diabetes class, as reflected by precision, recall, and F1-score values of zero across all models. Although Random Forest and XGBoost achieved an accuracy of 0.6, this value was largely influenced by the dominance of the non-diabetes class in the very limited test set. Correlation analysis further reveals that Glucose, BMI, and Diabetes Pedigree Function are the most influential features associated with diabetes status. The main contribution of this study lies in providing a realistic methodological evaluation of machine learning models applied to small-sized clinical datasets, highlighting that limited sample size and training–testing data partitioning have a substantial impact on model performance and the interpretation of evaluation metrics. These findings provide an important methodological reference for future studies aiming to develop more reliable early diabetes prediction models under constrained clinical data conditions.

Abstract

This article aims to develop a web-based SQL Injection detection system using the Regular Expression (RegEx) method as a lightweight and cost-effective approach for early vulnerability detection, with its novelty lying in the design and implementation of 110 RegEx patterns classified into six categories of SQL Injection attacks—Error-Based, Union-Based, Boolean-Based, Stacked Query, Time-Based, and Authentication Bypass—which are integrated into a real-time web-based scanning system. The system is developed using the Waterfall model, utilizing FastAPI for the backend and React for the frontend, and is enhanced with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and a visual dashboard for monitoring detection results. Unlike machine learning-based approaches that require high computational resources and training datasets, the proposed method emphasizes efficiency and ease of implementation. The testing results indicate that the system performs effectively, achieving a 100% success rate in 25 Black Box testing scenarios, while White Box testing produced a Cyclomatic Complexity value of 11, indicating that the system is maintainable, and user evaluation showed an average satisfaction score of 4.2 out of 5.0. This research contributes a structured, lightweight, and practical pattern-based SQL Injection detection approach that can be implemented as an early detection system to independently enhance web application security.

Abstract

This training activity aims to introduce the basic concepts of programming logic to students at the Community Learning Center (PKBM) Seluas Cita Nusantara, Parung Panjang, through an interactive and enjoyable approach, namely using the visual programming platform Scratch. In the digital era, programming literacy has become a fundamental skill. However, its introduction is often considered difficult and abstract. This training addresses that challenge by utilizing Scratch, a tool that allows participants to create their own interactive stories, animations, and games by arranging blocks of code. The method used is hands-on learning, where participants are directly invited to design and develop simple projects. The main focus of the material is mastering basic concepts such as sequence, loop, conditional statements, and variables, which are important foundations in computational thinking. Abstract

Poorly planned drug inventory management often leads to imbalances between patient needs and the availability of medicines in clinics. This issue generally arises because transaction data has not been optimally utilized as a basis for decision-making. The purpose of this study is to identify patterns of drug associations by applying Association Rule Mining techniques using the Equivalence Class Transformation (ECLAT) algorithm. The research adopts a quantitative approach, utilizing one year of drug transaction data. The analysis reveals several combinations of medicines that are frequently prescribed together by healthcare providers. These association patterns provide valuable insights into prescribing tendencies within the clinic. By understanding the most common combinations, managers can plan drug procurement more accurately and efficiently. The information obtained not only helps anticipate the risk of stock shortages but also prevents excessive inventory that could result in waste. Thus, the application of the ECLAT algorithm proves effective in enhancing drug inventory management. Furthermore, the findings of this study can serve as a foundation for developing more efficient procurement strategies, ultimately improving the quality of healthcare services in clinics. Overall, leveraging transaction data through Association Rule Mining contributes significantly to evidence-based decision-making. This demonstrates that integrating data analysis techniques with inventory management can create a healthcare system that is more responsive, efficient, and patient-centered.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged the use of interactive media as an effective learning tool, one of which is educational games. This study aims to implement programming logic in the game development process and analyze its role in improving logical thinking and problem-solving skills. The method used is a software engineering approach consisting of requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing stages. The game is developed using fundamental programming logic concepts such as conditional statements, loops, and simple data structures integrated into the gameplay mechanics. The results show that the implementation of programming logic in game development not only produces an interactive and engaging product but also helps users understand logical concepts more intuitively. Therefore, the developed game has the potential to become an alternative learning medium to enhance computational thinking skills.

It cannot be denied that today's increasingly rapid technological progress can open up various new opportunities in good things, but also bad things, the ease of accessing the internet for everyone is one of the positive things, meaning that the effects of technological progress can be felt by everyone. almost all people, but this can become a problem and develop as a bad thing if people do not understand the threat of cyber attacks or criminal attacks via the internet, one of the cyber attacks that is increasingly worrying at the moment is cyber attacks via Phishing. One of the impacts or effects of a Phishing attack is that it can cause leakage of our personal data. Abstract

Education is an  important activity role in the development and changes that will occur in society. In today's era, competition for jobs is becoming increasingly fierce. To face this fierce competition in the world of work, students are expected to have skills, one of which is the use of Microsoft Office. PKBM Penerus Bangsa Tangerang Selatan aims to enhance students' skills in using the widely used software Microsoft Office Excel. Microsoft Office Excel is one of the most renowned software programs globally. To use Microsoft Office Excel effectively, students must master its techniques. Therefore, to assist our students, the PKM Dosen Universitas Pamulang team will conduct training and workshops titled “Training on the Use of Microsoft Office to Enhance Skills and Competencies for Students of PKBM Penerus Bangsa Tangerang Selatan”.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem pembelajaran online “Pojok Ilmu” berbasis framework Laravel pada Yayasan Peduli Tali Bangsa sebagai media pembelajaran digital bagi anak yatim dan dhuafa. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah keterbatasan media pembelajaran konvensional, kurangnya sistem evaluasi terstruktur, serta belum optimalnya pemanfaatan teknologi dalam proses belajar mengajar. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi observasi kebutuhan mitra, perancangan sistem, pengembangan aplikasi berbasis web, pelatihan penggunaan sistem, serta evaluasi hasil implementasi. Sistem yang dikembangkan menyediakan fitur video pembelajaran, latihan kuis, pengelolaan materi, serta monitoring perkembangan belajar peserta didik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sistem “Pojok Ilmu” mampu meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran, mempermudah pengelolaan proses pendidikan, serta memberikan akses belajar yang lebih fleksibel dan terstruktur. Dengan demikian, sistem ini menjadi solusi pembelajaran digital yang bermanfaat bagi yayasan dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan anak yatim dan dhuafa.
