Abstract

The coffee trend is currently global and the rise of coffeeshops in various regions including the city of Medan, the interest of researchers in conducting this research is that the Medan Terasore Coffeeshop is one of the most popular coffeeshops among young people today. The Medan Terasore Coffeeshop is always crowded with young people, especially on weekends. The objectives of this research are as follows: To find out what strategies are carried out by Coffeeshop Terasore Medan in utilizing Instagram as a digital marketing communication medium. To find out what factors are the obstacles in carrying out the Instagram utilization strategy carried out by Coffeeshop Terasore Medan. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Qualitative descriptive research method is a research method used to conduct research naturally. The results of the study show that the strategy of using Instagram social media through the from of posting photos, stories and video content has been successfully carried out by Coffeeshop Terasore Medan, with success being able to increase visitors who are increasing every day, especially at night. The inhibiting factor in carrying out the Instagram utilization strategy carried out by Coffeeshop Terasore Medan is that it does not have obstacles, it can be seen that with the uploads made by the admin of the Instagram account, Coffeeshop Terasore Medan is able to attract every visitor or follower to uploads that are in accordance with the topic being discussed. served on Instagram @terasore__.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of psychological well-being and job satisfaction on job stress members of the association of Indonesian translators. This study used a quantitative method in which the sampling technique was through a simple random sampling technique where the subjects in this study amounted to 141 people. Data were collected using was a Likert scale consisting of three scales, namely the psychological well-being scale, job satisfaction scale, and work stress scale. The data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis. The results showed that there was be a significant effect between psychological well-being and job satisfaction on the work stress of HPI members. This is indicated by the coefficient F reg = 15.211 with p < 0.05, and the coefficient R = 0.425 with p < 0.05 and R2 = 0.181. The total contribution of these two variables was 18.1%, while the remaining was 81.9% is influenced by other factors on job stress. From the result of the study, it can be concluded that psychological well-being and job satisfaction jointly affect the work stress of the association of Indonesian translators

Abstract

This study aims to determine: The effect of young marriage on household harmony in Medan Sinembah Village, Tanjung Morawa District on the perspectives on Family Communication. The type of research is quantitative research. The population of this study was adolescents who married at a young age in 2019-2020 whose marriage age was 19-20 years, totalling 52 people. Sampling used a total sampling technique, with a sample of 52 people. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire with a Likert scale totalling 15 statements of young marriage variables, including 12 valid items and 3 invalid items. Then 32 statements of household harmony variables including 28 valid items and 4 invalid items. The data analysis technique used descriptive tests, normality and linearity test, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence between the young marriage variable and the household harmony variable with a t count of 3,794 l> 2,008, so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that "there is an effect of young marriage on household harmony". The value of t count is 3,794> t table 2,008 in simple linear regression analysis. The significance is 0.000 <0.05 probability, so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that "There is an effect of young marriage on household harmony in the context of Family Communication".

Abstract

An effective communication strategy requires good planning with communication methods or tools for marketing activities. This study aims to determine the marketing communication strategy of Paloh Naga Agrotourism, Denai Lama Village, Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency. The type of method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation using descriptive analysis techniques, namely describing the events studied. The results of this study indicate that in implementing the marketing communication strategy of Paloh Naga agrotourism in the village of Denai Lama, Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency, to attract tourists, there are five types of promotions or what is often referred to as the promotion mix, namely: (Advertising) by using advertisements such as brochures, signage, and online media such as Facebook and Instagram accounts; (Sales promotion) through managers and promotion and marketing staff providing information from social media accounts or through direct face-to-face interactions between entrepreneurs and consumers; Public Relations (Humas) in a way where the promotion and management staff of Agro-tourism Paloh Naga collaborate with various media parties with the aim of introducing Paloh Naga tourism and increasing the number of tourist visitors; (Personal selling) by means of promotional staff and managers informing visitors of the latest information about Paloh Naga agro-tourism; (Direct selling) is a way for traders to promote products or services that are displayed directly and involve direct contact sales to consumers.

Abstract

 Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi adegan-adegan dalam serial drama Thirty Nine yang mengandung nilai-nilai sosial serta menentukan jenis nilai sosial yang ditampilkan, dan mengevaluasi dampaknya terhadap penonton. Meskipun Thirty Nine terdiri dari 12 episode, peneliti hanya menganalisis sejumlah adegan yang dipilih dari seluruh episode tersebut. Adegan-adegan ini dipilih karena dianggap mampu menggambarkan secara efektif nilai-nilai sosial di Korea. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi komunikasi massa, analisis isi, nilai-nilai sosial, dan drama Korea. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah analisis isi kualitatif, dengan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis isi semantik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai sosial dalam Thirty Nine meliputi nilai keindahan dalam alfabet Hangul, nilai vital, moral, religius, dan kebenaran yang muncul dalam konteks makan bersama (Hesoik), nilai kebenaran dan religius terkait kebiasaan melepas sepatu, serta nilai keindahan, moral, dan religius yang terkait dengan kebiasaan minum teh atau Darye. Selain itu, nilai material juga muncul dalam penggunaan telepon seluler. Dari analisis, juga ditemukan nilai kebenaran, keindahan, dan moral dalam konsep memberi bunga. Nilai-nilai sosial yang teridentifikasi melalui analisis pernyataan mencakup kebenaran, moral, religius, dan keindahan dalam cara menikmati hidup serta penggunaan aksara Korea.Kata Kunci: Nilai-nilai sosial, Analisis isi, Drama korea

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of promotion through Instagram in building a positive public image of the rides and facilities at Hairos Waterpark Medan. The main focus of this study is to analyze visual content strategies, interactions with followers, and their impact on public perception and interest in visiting. The approach method in this research is descriptive qualitative using descriptive analysis techniques, namely describing the events studied. Data obtained from digital observation, in-depth interviews with promotion managers, and analysis of Instagram content by selecting uploads that have a high level of interaction, such as likes, comments, and re-shares. The results showed that attractive visual content, the use of interactive features such as Stories and Reels, and quick responses to comments and direct messages contributed significantly to building a positive image of Hairos Waterpark in the community. In addition, this study also revealed challenges in managing social media interactions, including limited human resources and rapid changes in social media trends. This study concludes that promotion through Instagram can be a very effective tool in creating a positive image and increasing the attractiveness of tourist destinations, but requires strategic management for sustainability.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of job satisfaction and leader-member exchange on job stress employee of PT Central Mega Kencana. This research was conducted in February 2022. This study used a quantitative method in which the sampling technique was through a non-probability sampling technique using simple random sampling where the subjects in this study amounted to 100 people. Data were collected using was a Likert scale consisting of three scales, namely the job satisfaction scale, leader-member exchange scale, and work stress scale. The data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect between job satisfaction and leader-member exchange on the work stress of employee of PT Central Mega Kencana. This is indicated by the coefficient F reg = 18,852 with p < 0.05, and the coefficient R = 0,529 with p < 0.05 and R2 = 0,280. The total contribution of these two variables was 28%, while the remaining was 72% is influenced by other factors on job stress. From the result of the study, it can be concluded that job satisfaction and leader-member exchange jointly affect the work stress of employee of PT Central Mega Kencana.
