Abstract

The anti-hoax social movement was initiated online in Indonesia by relying on the netizens' togetherness to fight the spread of hoaxes in a virtual world by identifying and reporting hoaxes and promoting accurate information and critical thinking skills. Digital scoping is carried out by reporting hoaxes that are spread on social media, while counter-narrative actions take the form of checking facts and disseminating disclaimers. The level of participation of netizens in the anti-hoax movement is relatively high. They voluntarily participate in various anti-hoax campaigns. Teachers in Bandung high schools have been allowed to pick and implement proposals and solutions based on their students' needs and requirements for digital literacy. This technique has effectively surmounted the barriers to students' digital literacy abilities, preventing them from causing problems that students, in particular, feel during studying. As a result, kids can select which news can be believed and which is a scam. The strategy used in education to address students' digital literacy skills has increased students' digital literacy skills, allowing them to learn more quickly and accurately. Teachers can also help pupils develop their digital literacy skills so that other students are not left behind in understanding learning material.

Abstract

The digital era has prompted online sites to provide an information that aligns with users’ needs. Information accessibility could help bibliophiles in order to retrieve an information and decide on their book preferences effectively and efficiently. This research aims to analyze the correlation between Goodreads’ information quality and bibliophiles’ book preference. Information quality is measured through three (3) indicators: accuracy, timeliness, and relevancy. This research employed a quantitative method through a survey. The sampling method used was simple random sampling due to the homogency of the population. The population consisted of X @basebuku followers whom using Goodreads, in which 230 people, and 70 people were selected. The results, analyzed using Spearman’s Rank Correlation, indicate a moderate correlation between information quality and book preferences. Furthermore, each indicators indicate a correlation with book preferences, yet there’s difference on the strength of correlation. Accuracy and book preferences indicate a weak correlation; timeliness and book preferences indicate a moderate correlation; relevancy and book preferences indicate a strong correlation.

Abstract

Abstract. A smart system service called SiPINTAR is a smart service library application at Universitas Islam Bandung. This research aims to find out how SiPINTAR application is perceived by users based on the Technology Acceptance Method theory. This research employs a descriptive-qualitative research method. Data collection techniques are carried out by collecting information from several sources and then combining it with structured direct observations on the SiPINTAR application. The results of this study show that the convenience aspects of using SiPINTAR are easy to learn, easy to control, clear and easy to understand, easy to adjust, and easy to use. In addition, from the aspect of usability, it can facilitate work, speed up work, increase productivity, and enhance the effectiveness of users’ activities. This research concludes that SiPINTAR application is very easy to use by librarians and library users. It also provides benefits for users in terms of a positive assessment and fulfilling all aspects of the assessment, which makes SiPINTAR application positively accepted.

Abstract

Village libraries as information centers have an important role in improving the quality of life and helping to solve problems in rural communities. However, there are still many village libraries that are in simple conditions and have limitations in their management, especially in managing library collections and implementing services. The implementation of community service with the theme of village library management training as a medium for disaster information literacy aims to provide knowledge and skills to village library managers about collecting disaster information sources; processing disaster information sources, and disseminating disaster information sources. The method used in implementing community service is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) to conduct social mapping in determining the main problems faced by the target community. While the training implementation methods are lectures, discussions, and practices. The results of implementing community service are by holding discussions with the community in an effort to social map, as well as delivering basic materials on collection development, processing library materials, and library services, participants have knowledge and skills about the process of collecting disaster information sources; processing disaster information sources, and disseminating disaster information sources through various forms of village library services. The conclusion from the implementation of community service is that village library managers are skilled in managing libraries as centers for disaster information sources.

Abstract

In order to build a literate generation that loves books and takes pride in Indonesia's cultural heritage, the Library and Information Science Study Program, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran, is organizing a Community Service Program (PKM) themed “Reading Aloud.” One of the activities of this PKM is the delivery of material on reading aloud for teachers at SDN Lontong Jatigede Sumedang on August 6, 2025. The training session had 30 participants, including teachers from SDN Lontong, lecturers, and students from the Library and Information Science Program. The training material covered the concept, objectives, and benefits of reading aloud, as well as activities related to reading aloud in various contexts and at elementary schools, delivered through interactive lectures. At SDN Lontong, reading aloud activities have already been implemented. However, teachers need to continue providing positive encouragement and giving students ample opportunities to practice, supported by the provision of books that are appealing to students. This training is expected to enhance teachers' knowledge and skills in conducting reading aloud activities during the learning process at school.

Abstract

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly transformed how the public accesses and disseminates health information. In this emergency context, social media emerged as a primary channel for health communication due to its ability to reach audiences quickly and widely. However, the high volume of information on social media also triggered a surge in misinformation and disinformation, potentially disrupting pandemic mitigation efforts.Purpose: To understand how this issue evolved in the scientific literature, this study aims to analyze the trends and patterns of research on health communication through social media during the COVID-19 pandemic.Methods: This research applies a bibliometric analysis method with a quantitative descriptive approach, utilizing the Biblioshiny application based on R to analyze 321 articles obtained from the Scopus database within the 2020–2024 period. The analysis includes annual publication trends, average citations per year, identification of key authors and journals, keyword mapping, and distribution of contributions by country and institution.Results: The highest number of publications occurred in 2021, with dominant topics such as “COVID-19,” “social media,” and “public health.” The United States stands out as the leading country in both publication output and citation impact, while the Journal of Medical Internet Research was identified as the most productive journal.Conclusions: Social media plays a strategic role in health communication during the pandemic, and this study reveals the globally evolving structure and dynamics of the scientific discourse. It is expected to contribute to the development of more effective, evidence-based digital health communication policies.

Abstract

Efforts to change individual behavior and attitudes cannot be done separately, but rather involve various parties in the process. One effective approach is to integrate learning with the environment. This integration can be done in two ways, namely taking the class outdoors so that students interact directly with nature, or conversely, presenting environmental elements into the classroom as a learning resource. This study aims to improve early childhood understanding and awareness of environmental health issues through an educational approach that is tailored to their developmental characteristics. The method used is action research, which is carried out in two cycles at an early childhood education institution. Each cycle consists of the planning stage, action implementation, observation, and reflection, in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the actions given and design improvements for the next cycle. Data collection instruments include observations of children's behavior during the learning process, documentation of activities, and interviews with educators and students. The results of the study showed that the integration of environmental health literacy in learning activities, such as playing while learning, exploring the surrounding environment, and simple discussions about healthy living habits, can significantly improve children's understanding. Children showed an increase in recognizing the importance of personal hygiene, waste management, and maintaining clean air and water. This finding emphasizes that early childhood education is an important foundation in fostering environmentally friendly behavior and healthy lifestyles in the future.

Abstract

Layanan Aspirasi dan Pengaduan Online Rakyat (Sp4n-Lapor!) merupakan layanan yang dibentuk oleh pemerintah untuk meningkatkan pelayanan publik dan mempermudah masyarakat untuk menyampaikan aspirasi dan pengaduan secara online. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menemukan gambaran mengenai faktor-faktor atau komponen yang menyebabkan adanya keterlambatan pada Layanan Aspirasi dan Pengaduan Online Rakyat (Sp4n-Lapor!) pada Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kota Banjar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Referensi teori yang digunakan yaitu mengenai manajemen layanan. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan temuan baru terkait faktor sebenarnya yang menyebabkan adanya keterlambatan diantaranya yaitu, ketiadaan SOP, kurangnya kerjasama antara super admin dan admin penghubung, dan akses website Sp4n-Lapor! yang lambat.

Abstract

James Clear mengutarakan kita meniru yang dekat, banyak, serta bagaimana lingkungan kita. Lingkungan kini yang erat dengan sosial media, secara tidak sengaja membuat banyak remaja sulit menjalaninya. Biblioterapi membantu proses pembaca memperoleh pemahaman baru atas diri dan kehidupannya, serta belajar sesuatau yang baru dari literatur yang dibacanya. Maka penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjawab bagaimana motif, makna, dan pengalaman pelaku metode biblioterapi untuk meningkatkan kesehatan mental mereka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, pendekatan fenomenologi. Data analisis dengan mengumpulkan wawancara mendalam kepada 6 orang informan, mencari informasi dari buku dan artikel, menyusunnya, membuat kesimpulan setelahnya. Hasil menggambarkan motif pelaku memilih menggunakan metode biblioterapi karena keinginan untuk merubah situasinya, pengaruh lingkungannya, untuk menghindarkan diri dari layar kaca, mendapatkan manfaat dan pelajaran baik secara intelektual, maupun spriritual mereka. Pengalaman menerapkannya mereka jadi meninjau ulang perilakunya, lebih positif perasaannya, dan menyenangkan ketika membaca. Sedangkan makna yang didapat adalah kata yang ada dalam buku mengandung pelajaran di dalamnya, kita dapat bebas berekspresi ketika membaca, dan mudah menerapkannya. Saran kedepannya tidak pernah ada waktu yang tepat apabila kita tidak memulai segalanya. Rasa sakit, dalam segala bentuk merupakan alat yang paling efektif dari tubuh kita untuk mendorong suatu aksi agar kita lebih baik dari keadaan sebelumnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji mengenai kegiatan mendongeng oleh Kang Idon yang dilakukan di Perpustakaan Hayu Maca Kota Cimahi dalam menumbuhkan ketertarikan anak-anak pada cerita. Berbagai macam tipe, karakter dan gaya belajar anak dapat menimbulkan munculnya masalah dalam proses mendongeng. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh pemahaman mengenai proses kegiatan mendongeng dan nilai-nilai yang ditanamkan serta mengidentifikasi kendala-kendala yang terjadi dalam proses kegiatan mendongeng di Perpustakaan Hayu Maca Kota Cimahi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa dalam upaya menumbuhkan ketertarikan anak-anak pada cerita, proses kegiatan mendongeng yang dilakukan kurang berjalan lancar karena adanya berbagai kendala yang muncul yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman orang-orang tentang pentingya kegiatan mendongeng ini diadakan sehingga Perpustakaan perlu melakukan pendekatan atau sosialisasi dengan masyarakat sekitar.
