Abstract

The lack of research on cyberbullying among Indonesian adolescents has become one of the critical arguments of this research. This study aimed to discover the factors that contribute to cyberbullying. This study took samples of students from three schools. The sample was 112 junior to senior high school students. The findings of this study indicate that school climate, parent-child relationship, and empathy have a significant role that encourages cyberbullying.

Abstract

The research goal is to investigate the influence of preceptorship clinical supervision using Bandura’s social cognitive modeltoward clinical competence improvement of nursing diploma students.  This research was quasi experiment using pre-posttest with control groups design. The subjects of this research were nursing diploma students who performed internship in RSJ Grhasia during 6-25 April 2015. Twenty four students which were divided into 2 groups, each of which consisted of 12 students as experimental and the rest played in control groups. Random sampling technique was used as sampling technique, the data was analyzed using independent sample T test. The results showed that preceptorship clinical supervision using Bandura’s social cognitive model improvedthe students’ clinical competence. The experiment groups’ mean of the gain score was 112 (SD±2,958), while the control group’s was 90,83 (SD±17,0,39). Thus, it can be concluded that preceptorship clinical supervision using Bandura’s social cognitive model can improve student clinical competencies compare to conventional clinical supervision method. This research can be used as a reference in developing guidance services of students through preceptorship guidance to improve clinical competence of nursing diploma students.

Abstract

Subjective wellbeing merupakan variabel yang penting bagi individu. Penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan pentingnya subjective wellbeing bagi tercapainya kualitas hidup yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti prediktor-prediktor dari subjective wellbeing. Hasil penelitian akan memberikan pemahaman tentang hubungan perilaku keimanan, kesabaran dan syukur terhadap subjective wellbeing pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui penyebaran skala. Subjek  penelitian berjumlah 98 yang direkrut dari sebuah perguruan tinggi swasta (PTS) di Yogyakarta. Analisis regresi digunakan untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara syukur dan sabar dengan subjective wellbeing pada mahasiswa. Sedangkan keimanan tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan subjective wellbeing. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini didiskuiskan lebih lanjut.

Abstract

Job stress is a main problem for modern organization. It has negativeeffect on employee, organization and productivity. Previous study foundthat job stress could create several problems and difficulties either on workperformance or employee’s health status. This study aims to examinerelationship between job insecurity and religious coping as moderatorvariable with job stress among university academic staffs. Moderatedregression analysis was used to analyze the data. One hundred and fifty-five academic staffs participated in this study. The result showed that jobinsecurity has significant effect on job stress. Meanwhile, religious copinghas significant effect on job stress by moderating the effect of job insecurity.Further discussion will be explained in this paper.

Abstract

Several previous studies have explained that cyberbullying has a negative impact on the victim. Currently, there are no research findings that examine the relationship between religiosity and spiritual meaning with cyberbullying. The current study is conducted to answer the gap of existing knowledge. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between religiosity and spiritual meaning with cyberbullying behavior. The research sample the students from a private university in Yogyakarta totaling 152 people (74 (49.3%) male; 76 (50.7%) female) who were taken by purposive sampling technique. Three questionnaires were used to collect the data. Regression analysis was implemented. The results of this study indicated that there is a very significant relationship between religiosity and spiritual meaningfulness with cyberbullying behavior. The implication of this research is to emphasize the role of religiosity and spiritual meaning for adolescents to prevent cyberbullying behavior.Keywords: Religiosity, spiritual meaning, and cyberbullying behavior

Abstract

Riset-riset sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan individual seperti kepribadian dan gaya attachment dapat memprediksi perilaku bullying dan cyberbullying. Meski demikian, masih ditemukan adanya inkonsistensi dalam temuan-temuan sebelumnya. Penelitian ini menguji apakah dimensi kepribadian extraversion dan secure attachment berperan dalam munculnya perilaku cyberbullying. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 199 siswa SMP. Analisis regresi digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis yang diajukan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya skor extraversion memprediksi tingginya skor cyberbullying. Sementara itu rendahnya skor secure attachment memprediksi tingginya skor cyberbullying. Rekomendasi dan saran dijelaskan lebih lanjut dalam artikel ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara regulasi emosi, konformitas teman sebaya dengan perilaku agresi pada siswa SMK di Pontianak. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 120 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian menggunakan cluster random sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala regulasi emosi, konformitas teman sebaya, dan skala perilaku agresi. Pengambilan data penelitian melalui google form yang disebarkan secara online. Data penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan teknik regresi berganda dengan menggunakan program Statistical Product and Service Solusion for windows 26.0. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi berganda di peroleh nilai F Change sebesar 15, 496 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,01) yang sangat signifikan. Artinya ada hubungan negatif yang sangat signifikan antara regulasi emosi, dan komformitas teman sebaya terhadap perilaku agresi pada siswa SMK di Pontianak. Ada hubungan regulasi emosi dengan perilaku agresi pada siswa SMK di Pontianak, hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan nilai t sebesar -3,642 dengan taraf signifikasi sebesar 0,009 (p>0,05). Ada hubungan konformitas teman sebaya dengan perilaku agresi pada siswa SMK di Pontianak, hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan nilai t sebesar 4,173 dengan taraf signifikasi 0,008 (p<0,05).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and religiosity on prosocial behavior in adolescents. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with a cross sectional study design. The population in this study were adolescents aged 15-18 years, with the total number of Indonesian adolescents aged 22,312.6. The area of distribution of research data was carried out in several provinces, including West Sumatra, South Sumatra, North Sumatra, Jambi, Bengkulu, West Java, Central Java, East Java, Yogyakarta, NTB and NTT. The sampling technique used in this study is the quota sampling technique. The sample in this study amounted to 384 adolescents in Indonesia. The data collection tool was carried out using a scale of emotional intelligence, religiosity and prosocial behavior. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression. The data results show the value of R = 0.984 and F = 5941.766 with a significant level of p 0.01. The effective contribution (R Square) produced is R2 = 0.969, which means that simultaneously emotional intelligence and religiosity contribute 96.9% to prosocial behavior. It can be concluded that emotional intelligence and religiosity have a significant influence on adolescent prosocial behavior, meaning that adolescents who have high emotional intelligence and religiosity have high social behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study group was to see the effect of group therapy in reducing cholesterol in ODGJ care givers. There were 6 participants in the group therapy which was a recommendation from the soul cadres of Srigading village. This therapy is carried out in a form analysis using a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, with a psychodynamic-oriented approach. Group participants are drawn based on the same problem, namely the conclusion. In carrying out the obligations of the ODGJ giver, he is also a direct member of the family who also feels and feels uncomfortable while accompanying ODGJ. The results show that seen from statistical data there is a decrease in the level of attention of the giver after being given group therapy support. The results of the qualitative data also showed a decrease which was known through individual interviews after being given group therapy support

Abstract

Abstract. Career maturity is an important aspect that should be achieved by the individual.  Underdeveloped of career maturity will result in hesitancy in deciding his career, which then would hinder the achievement of a career in the future. This study was aimed to test whether self-efficacy, achievement motivation, and authoritative parenting has contributed to the maturity of an individual's career. Additionally, this study also examined whether there is difference in career maturity between male with female students. A total of 214 psychology students were participated in this study. The results showed self-efficacy, achievement motivation, and authoritative parenting contribute to student career maturity. However, no significant difference was found on career maturity between male and female students. Other results found that achievement motivation has the greatest contribution to the career maturity. Keywords: Career maturity, self efficacy, need of achievement, authoritarian parenting, and students
