Anak adalah individu yang bertumbuh dan berkembang dengan berbagai emosi yang ada di sekitarnya. Di antaranya adalah rasa senang yang berkaitan erat dengan fenomena kegembiraan, rasa marah yang erat dengan rasa terganggu, serta rasa duka yang erat kaitannya dengan fenomena kehilangan. Merasakan kesedihan melalui kehilangan orang yang dicintai, menjadi peristiwa yang seringkali ditemui dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sebagaimana orang dewasa, anak-anak juga dirasa perlu untuk memahami bagaimana ketika emosi, termasuk rasa duka tersebut muncul. Salah satu cara agar anak dapat memahami situasi tersebut adalah dengan mengenalkannya dalam buku cerita bergambar. Buku cerita bergambar yang baik adalah yang menerapkan pendekatan visual yang sesuai dengan perkembangan usia dan imajinasi anak, sesuai dengan aspek kognitif dan sosio-emosional. Pemahaman akan imajinasi anak dapat dilakukan dengan mengamati gambar yang mereka kreasikan, karena gambar anak merupakan visualisasi dari apa yang indra-indra mereka alami dan rasakan. Bahasa visual khas anak tersebut dapat ditemukan penerapannya dalam buku cergam anak, yang dalam objek penelitian ini adalah buku cergam anak berjudul “Little Grey”. Melalui kajian terhadap hasil kreasi gambar anak dan ilustrasi dalam buku cergam anak “Little Grey” serta kesesuaiannya terhadap perkembangan psikologi dan bahasa visual usia pembaca “Little Grey”, penelitian ini bermaksud menganalisa bagaimana hubungan bahasa visual antara gambar anak dalam mengungkapkan emosinya dan ilustrasi yang termuat dalam buku cergam anak, sehingga dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan para kreator buku anak dalam membuat visual buku anak yang sesuai dengan perkembangan anak sebagai pembacanya. Women usually visualized as model for ads or illustration with the purpose of gaze. Mostly representation of women in mass media related with tradition and culture. Fashion manner and attitude of Indonesian women is one of eastern tradition in Indonesian culture. Today male magazines are Indonesian publication, showing Indonesian woman as their models. How is the visualization pattern built the image of Indonesian Woman? Through visual interpretation and content analysis from sampling of male magazines(For Him Magazine or FHM and Male Emporium or ME), we could find that the image of Indonesian women as eastern tradition shifted and faded toward emphasizing high sex appeal that exploits certain parts of their bodies. Indonesian women has represented almost the same manner as western women on male magazines.

Abstract Ambeu Preanger Pangalengan is a community of Arabica Java Preanger coffee connoiseurs and producers, located in Pangalengan. Along with the demand for the proliferation of producers and specialty coffee shops in Pangalengan, Ambeu Preanger assists several Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) related to the coffee industry in Pangalengan, namely Kawitan Coffee, Nagoya Coffee, Koffie Nyalse, Pangalengan Coffee House, Oeching Salapan, Ghoz Coffee, Sucker Soul, Coffee 4 Wheels, and Himmah Coffee. Then, from the survey process and data search in the field, we obtained information that not all SMEs in the coffee industry in Pangalengan have an ideal visual identity. In fact, they need a graphic visual identity as a representative of the image that will later be displayed on a website that is proclaimed as a digital storefront for these SMEs. Therefore, Telkom University team decided to design a graphic standard manual, which can help community to strive for a visual identity that is representative of their business, and is still in line with the brand image of Ambeu Preanger Pangalengan itself. Seiring dengan tuntutan menjamurnya produsen serta kedai kopi specialty di Pangalengan, Ambeu Preanger mendampingi beberapa UMKM yang terkait dengan industri kopi di Pangalengan, yaitu Kawitan Coffee, Nagoya Coffee, Koffie Nyalse, Rumah Kopi Pangalengan, Oeching Salapan, Ghoz Coffee, Sucker Soul, Coffee 4 Wheels, dan Himmah Coffee. Lalu, dari proses survey dan pencarian data di lapangan, kami memperoleh informasi bahwa belum semua UMKM industri kopi yang ada di Pangalengan memiliki identitas visual yang ideal. Padahal, identitas visual grafis diperlukan oleh mereka sebagai perwakilan citra yang kelak ditampilkan di sebuah website yang dicanangkan sebagai etalase digital dari para UMKM ini. Oleh karena itu, tim Pengabdian Masyarakat Telkom University memutuskan untuk merancang panduan standar manual grafis, yang dapat membantu para mitra untuk mengupayakan hadirnya visual yang representatif sesuai dengan identitas bisnis yang mereka usung, serta masih sejalan dengan citra dari Ambeu Preanger Pangalengan itu sendiri. Majalaya has potential in terms of a creative ecosystem that needs to be developed. From the results of preliminary research that has been done before, this creative ecosystem includes the potential of art-culture, culinary, textiles and history. Related to historical potential, it was also found that in Majalaya there are historical buildings that have a close connection with the culture and history of Majalaya City. This is the background for the Telkom University DKV team to collaborate in carrying out this Community Service activity with Majalaya.id. Majalaya.id itself is an independent news agency with a global-local (glocal) spirit, moving the public to interact in various spaces in Majalaya. On this basis, in this service, the team held a watercolor workshop entitled "Menggambar Majalaya - Workshop & Live Drawing Heritage" which aims to encourage community spirit, especially school children to work while recognizing the historical potential that exists in Majalaya.

Many of these families begin having children outside of their home country, and the children that grew up there are known as Third Culture Kids (TCK). They define the "third culture" as a lifestyle that involves temporarily relocating to a multicultural area where they live in various communities. This culture is distinct from the culture their parents were raised in and the environment they spend frequently. This subject was intended to aid the students' integration into this nation, particularly in Bandung. Instagram was chosen because they are simple to obtain and most, if not all, students use this platform. The reason is due to the Indonesian TCKs' brief stay in Indonesia, they have a difficult time assimilating into the culture and way of life of the nation as well as only a few platforms are available to aid and unite them with one another. This research will use qualitative and quantitative data, as well as a matrix approach. This research aims to create a social campaign using Instagram posts that will help in introducing Bandung to the Indonesian TCKs together with building a community of people that are alike.

Text cannot be separated from its context, nor can the complexity of reality be reduced. The relationship of the text as a visual element between the imagined spaces that follow is what this study tries to explain further. In this article, the authors choose the quote, "Bumi Pasundan Lahir Ketika Tuhan Sedang Tersenyum" / (English: "Bumi Pasundan was created when God was smiling") which is classified as public space typography as the object of research. This discussion uses multimodal ethnography as a data search tool that will be analysed using discourse analysis to answer how quotes, as visual elements, are reproduced and depicted as a "beautiful" space through social media, creating a specific image of the imagined space.

Culture, as a multifaceted entity serves as a mirror reflecting how individuals interact with their surroundings and one another. Andir, a district located in Bandung Region of West Java, Indonesia with its rich tapestry of history and cultural diversity, demands a way to creatively preserve and showcase its cultural dynamic. By choosing documentary filmmaking as an instrument to record and safeguard the essence of cultural diversity of Andir, the authors gained a way to subjective and participatory exploration into the colorful scenes situated in Andir. Several techniques of immersion in the field such as walk-around and treasures mapping is employed in the filmmaking to construct a subjective experience and became a way of participatory learning of Andir’s culture for the people involved in this initiative. Documentary filmmaking emerges as an indispensable tool for recording and safeguarding the essence of Andir’s culture that allows for a more authentic portrayal of the cultural landscape. As a medium, it stands as a pivotal container of conservation through visual storytelling that amplifies the documentation and representation of cultural legacies for the next generation and for the audience. This study highlights the result of mapping the cultural dynamic that can be observed in socio-economic activities, culinary culture, and architecture. These are considered as the cultural assets in which the principles construct the cultural value of tolerance identified in Andir. It is then documented to construct the visual storytelling of documentary and to empower cultural conservation by creative media to raise awareness and foster future collaborative efforts. By showcasing the multifaceted cultural exchanges occurring within Andir in the visual storytelling, it offers a window into the cultural intricacies that define this community while becoming a medium that conserves the cultural scenery of everyday life. The film also captures the "Village of Tolerance", as a government initiative that showcase the general perception of diversity and unity. Documentary filmmaking of Andir is a preservation effort to portray authentically the vibrant cultural mosaic that deserves further dedicated archival endeavours.

Makanan dan minuman manis merupakan sebuah hidangan yang dapatmenumbuhkan nafsu makan, menggugah selera dan banyak disukai oleh banyak usia,terutama anak-anak. Cita rasa manis yang berasal dari gula, madu dan sebagainyasayangnya dapat menimbulkan komplikasi yang merugikan bagi kesehatan gigi bila tidakterkontrol, contohnya adalah gigi berlubang atau Karies. Anak usia < 6 tahun cenderungrawan mengalami permasalahan tersebut karena kurangnya pendampingan Orang Tuadalam asupan makan dan minuman—cemilan, serta kebiasaan menjaga kesehatan gigi dikehidupan sehari-hari. Dampaknya dapat membuat anak mengalami kehilangan dayakunyah, juga mengganggu perkembangan anak pada masa golden age. Strategipendekatan yang dilakukan dalam memberikan edukasi adalah sebuah saranapembelajaran yang sekaligus dapat melatih motorik halus anak usia dini. Penelitian yangsudah dilakukan menggunakan metode kualitatif yang berlandaskan teori DesainKomunikasi Visual dengan olahan data yang diperoleh melalui kegiatan observasi,wawacara pada narasumber terkait, dan studi pustaka mengenai makanan dan minumanmanis, karies, dan perkembangan anak usia dini. Hasil akhir dalam penelitian ini adalahsebuah perancangan buku Pop-up sebagai cara memperkenalkan topik makanan danminuman manis terhadap karies (gigi berlubang).
