Abstract

Color plays a crucial role in visual applications such as object recognition, image processing, computer vision, and computer graphics. Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithms have gained attention for color classification due to their ability to handle complex data. SVM, a machine learning algorithm for classification and regression, aims to find optimal decision boundaries. In color classification using SVM, color data is represented by feature vectors, and SVM learns patterns to classify colors accurately. The SVM algorithm demonstrates a high accuracy rate, with an average accuracy of approximately 85% in color detection. This indicates the SVM's ability to effectively separate and classify colors with precision. SVM is proven to be effective in handling non-linear color data by utilizing kernel functions to transform the feature space into higher dimensions, enabling accurate classification of complex color data. The outstanding performance of the SVM algorithm in color detection presents vast potential applications in color recognition, image processing, computer vision, and computer graphics. SVM offers accurate and reliable solutions for object classification based on color characteristics in various contexts. Abstract

Mental health apps have attracted significant attention as a digital solution to address psychological well-being issues. This study aims to design an intuitive and user-friendly interface for a mental health app using a design thinking approach. The methodology used involved five stages: empathy, problem definition, idea development, prototyping, and user testing. Through empathy mapping and interviews with stakeholders, user needs and challenges were identified. Based on these insights, core problems were defined, and idea development techniques were used to generate design concepts. An interactive prototype was developed and evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method involving 10 participants. The average SUS score of 76.5 indicated good usability and user acceptance. However, user feedback was integrated for further optimization. This study concludes that the design thinking approach effectively facilitated the creation of an intuitive and user-centered interface for a mental health app. Future research can explore the integration of advanced features and evaluate the app's impact on mental well-being outcomes. Abstract

Traveling is considered a delightful activity to engage in during leisure time. By employing a User-Centered Design approach, the developed tourism application has successfully delivered a satisfying user experience. This method allowed the developers to focus on users' needs, preferences, and enjoyment while designing and developing the application. The results obtained from the System Usability Scale (SUS) measurement yielded an average score of 77,5 from a total of 20 respondents. This indicates that the application possesses good usability and is relatively easy to navigate for users. Although there is room for further improvement, this conclusion suggests that the application has achieved its main goal of providing a seamless and responsive user experience in searching, exploring, interacting, and obtaining information about various tourist destinations. Abstract

Technological developments make people very fond of playing video games, especially teenagers. Due to the increasing number of fans, video games are being produced more and more. This makes the number of video games available very large. The diversity of video games makes users feel confused about which video game they should play next, especially if some users are new to video games. Therefore, a recommender system was built to recommend video games to users by using genre as a benchmark for providing recommendations. The system will provide recommendations according to the preferences desired by the user. The method used in this research is the content-based filtering method because it can produce a fairly high precision value. In this study, the results were obtained in the form of an average precision of 87.75%.

Abstract

SISAKTI-NG is an information system for managing SKP (Satuan Kredit Partisipasi) at Udayana University. Currently, SISAKTI-NG is only available as a web-based application and does not have a mobile version. Based on a survey conducted among several Udayana University students, the author concluded that the website's interface of SISAKTI-NG is unattractive and dull. Therefore, the author is interested in designing the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) for the SISAKTI-NG information system. Through this research, it is hoped that the SISAKTI-NG application can be improved in terms of its visual appearance to become more appealing and modern, meeting the needs and providing a comfortable user experience for Udayana University students. This research adopts prototyping and modeling methods. Based on the survey conducted, the calculation of the usability value of the UI/UX design of the SISAKTI-NG application which was tested using the SUS (System Usability Scale) method obtained an average SUS score of 77.25, NPS value with passive results, Acceptable, adjective value with results good, and the grade gets a B. This research has received positive reviews from SISAKTI-NG users when compared to the previous interface design. Keywords: System, Information, Udayana, University, UI/UX

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that relies heavily on the agricultural and plantation sectors to meet its needs for food and industrial raw materials. But farmers face challenges such as falling commodity prices and the negative impact of global warming, which has resulted in widespread drought. As a result, competition for water resources between the agricultural, industrial and household sectors is getting tighter, making it increasingly difficult for farmers to guarantee water supplies. The phenomenon of global warming has caused challenges in the current era. In Bali, although there is a method called “Subak” to manage rice field irrigation systems, it has not been fully implemented. To overcome this problem, a solution is needed that can automate water distribution based on soil moisture levels, temperature, light and air humidity. It uses machine learning techniques specifically using Naive Bayes Classifier to make real-time decisions regarding crop irrigation. The aim of this research is to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of crop irrigation in agriculture while reducing the impact of warming. The results of testing the scenario with orchid plants obtained an accuracy of around 80% and with general plants obtained around 80% which was tested every time 5 data were collected. Testing with a total of 84 training data and 26 test data. From the test results, an accuracy of 92.30769% was obtained.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving era of information and technology, the Provincial Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Office (Diskominfos) of Bali has a crucial role in managing, developing, and providing information, communication, and statistics in the region. To enhance data accessibility for the public, Diskominfos Bali plans to establish a centralized school information system. This system aims to facilitate stakeholders such as educators, administrators, parents, and the general public in accessing comprehensive and accurate information on school conditions and developments in Bali. By integrating data from various schools, the centralized school information system will provide a holistic view of student data, academic performance, attendance records, school facilities, and other relevant factors. Additionally, the system will be integrated with an interactive and easily comprehensible student dashboard for secondary schools. This dashboard will enable educators and administrators to effectively monitor and analyze student data, including academic achievements, graduation rates, and extracurricular participation. Through the implementation of the centralized school information system and the integrated student dashboard, Diskominfos Bali aims to enhance transparency, efficiency, and the overall quality of education in the region. The system will provide easy access to information for stakeholders and enable data-driven decision-making based on accurate data and informative visualizations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan fokus pada Pengenalan pentingnya digitalisasi suatu bisnis dengan menggunakan beberapa media seperti Website. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini meliputi desain dan pengembangan Website, serta pelatihan penggunaan Website kepada pemilik bisnis. Hasil utama dari pengabdian ini adalah pemahaman yang meningkat tentang manfaat digitalisasi bagi bisnis dan kemampuan pemilik bisnis dalam mengelola dan memanfaatkan Website untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan daya saing. Simpulan utama dari pengabdian ini adalah digitalisasi bisnis melalui Website memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan visibilitas, aksesibilitas, dan pertumbuhan bisnis. Pengabdian ini memiliki kebermaknaan dalam mendorong perkembangan bisnis lokal, peningkatan pendapatan, dan peningkatan kualitas layanan bagi masyarakat.

Abstract
