Abstract

The Village News Information System or SIWADA is an information system designed for use in Klambir Lima Kebun Village. SIWADA is used to spread important news and announcements in the village. The system is built based on a website by utilizing SMS Gateway technology. News or announcements from the village are delivered via broadcast messages to all resident numbers registered in the system. Announcements and broadcast news can be in the form of information such as the Covid-19 vaccine schedule, village meeting schedule, information on activities that involve residents and much other information that needs to be conveyed by the village to its residents. In this way, information will reach each villager more quickly. It also increases the truth of the information received by residents. The SIWADA development process is carried out using the Prototype model and UML methods as a design tool.

Abstract

Natural disasters that are familiar and often occur around the world, including our country Indonesia one of which is flooding, and not infrequently this also often occurs at night and when the home occupier is not in a place that usually often causes material losses and not infrequently also causes fatalities. This study aims to implement a prototype system that allows to know the possibility of flooding before water enters the area or area of people's homes by using alerts in the form of alarm sounds or sms messages. Which is where this flood-cutting early warning prototype system will use Arduino as a microcontroller that will thoroughly control the ultrasonic sensor as a water level detector and buzzer sensor as a sounder or alarm when the water level has reached a certain limit, Where sms will be directly sent by the SENSOR SIM800L to the citizen's mobile phone or contact number that has been adjusted by the system. So the final result of this small study is that a prototype system of early warning of SMS Gateway-based flood detection will be very helpful for residents to know how the water level will be when entering people's homes.

Abstract

The Decision Support System (DSS) with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is an effective approach for measuring the level of passenger satisfaction at the Tanjung Balai Asahan Port International Terminal. The AHP method helps in identifying and evaluating various factors that influence passenger satisfaction, such as facilities, security, cleanliness, and service efficiency. By using AHP, the priority ranking of these criteria can be carried out based on opinions and assessments from passengers. It is hoped that the results of this SPK can provide valuable input for terminal managers to improve service quality, to create a more satisfying experience for passengers. This research discusses a decision support system that uses the Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) method to assess the level of passenger satisfaction at the Tanjung Balai Asahan Port International Terminal. Passenger satisfaction is a crucial factor in terminal operations, and measuring passenger satisfaction requires a systematic approach. This research conducted a direct survey of passengers with questions regarding their experiences while using transportation services. This survey can be carried out through interviews, and questionnaires. In this research, a scale or index is used to measure customer satisfaction. This index can combine various factors such as service, facilities, timeliness, and comfort. On operational data such as timeliness, number of complaints, level of delays, and incidents. This data can provide an indirect picture of passenger satisfaction.

Abstract

Information is a crucial thing that cannot be separated from everyday life. Kelambir Lima Kebun Village is part of the Hamparan Perak District with a population of 16,355 people. In community life in the village there is a lot of information that sometimes needs to be conveyed by village officials to its citizens. Some examples of this information include the announcement of the COVID-19 vaccination, information on social assistance funds, information on village cooperation, information on the August 17 competition, information on fogging for prevention of DHF, and much other information that exists every day and needs to be conveyed to residents. village. This study aims to create a website information service system website usi3Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi, Indonesia ng an SMS Gateway. This information service website is used to disseminate information or announcements from the village to villagers via SMS Gateway so that each villager gets the announcement via their respective cell phones. In this way, the accuracy of the information received by residents can be ascertained when compared to when getting information or announcements from neighbors. Researchers used the prototype model for the system development method. In the design, the researcher uses a design tool, namely UML.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based Information System for Approval Dismentling NTE using the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method at PT Telkom Akses. The system design process is carried out using DFD (Data Flow Diagram) to determine the necessary design steps. The system development involves programming languages such as PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, along with a SQL database for data storage. The RAD method is utilized in the design phase, which consists of three main steps: planning, design, and implementation. The research findings indicate that the web-based Information System for Approval Dismentling NTE has no significant impact on the performance of asset monitoring at PT Telkom Akses. Despite PT Telkom Akses having its own Approval system application, there are still several shortcomings, including an unattractive interface. This study contributes to the development of a web-based Information System for Approval Dismentling NTE using the RAD method. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the NTE dismentling approval process at PT.Telkom Akses. Improvements that can be made to the system include refining the interface to make it more appealing and addressing other existing deficiencies.

Abstract

Kegiatan sosialisasi pemanfaatan media sosial untuk meningkatkan pendapatan bagi ibu rumah tangga di Dusun IV, Desa Kelambir Lima Kebun adalah sebuah inisiatif yang bertujuan untuk memberdayakan dan mengembangkan potensi bisnis ibu rumah tangga melalui penggunaan media sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, di mana ibu rumah tangga aktif terlibat dalam proses sosialisasi. Melalui berbagai kegiatan, seperti pelatihan, lokakarya, dan diskusi kelompok, ibu rumah tangga diberikan pemahaman tentang potensi media sosial sebagai alat promosi dan penjualan produk atau jasa mereka. Hasil kegiatan sosialisasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran dan pengetahuan ibu rumah tangga mengenai manfaat media sosial dalam meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga. Mereka belajar bagaimana memanfaatkan berbagai platform media sosial untuk membangun merek, mencapai pasar yang lebih luas, dan menjalin hubungan dengan pelanggan potensial.

Abstract

Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi berkolaborasi dengan Dinas KOMINFO Kota Medan untuk memberikan kesempatan magang kepada mahasiswa Program Studi Sistem Komputer dari bulan Juni hingga September 2023. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka yang digagas oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Indonesia. Program magang bertujuan memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan diri dan kompetensi melalui pengalaman praktis di lapangan, yang relevan dengan bidang studi mereka. Dinas KOMINFO Kota Medan dipilih sebagai tempat magang karena keterkaitannya dengan bidang informasi dan teknologi. Tujuan kegiatan magang ini adalah memberikan pengalaman kerja, mengembangkan keterampilan teknis dan soft skills, meningkatkan kompetensi profesional, dan memungkinkan interaksi dengan profesional berpengalaman. Selain itu, magang juga berfungsi sebagai kesempatan untuk membangun jaringan profesional dan mengeksplorasi berbagai jalur karir di bidang studi mereka. Beberapa program magang juga memberikan kesempatan untuk berkontribusi pada proyek atau inisiatif yang relevan, sehingga peserta magang dapat merasakan dampak nyata dari pekerjaan yang mereka lakukan.

Abstract

Jurnal pengabdian ini membahas tentang program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang dilaksanakan di PT. Xtend Indonesia yang berada di kota Medan. MBKM merupakan upaya perguruan tinggi untuk berkontribusi pada masyarakat melalui berbagai kegiatan dan proyek yang melibatkan kolaborasi dengan pihak-pihak eksternal, seperti komunitas lokal, organisasi non-pemerintah, atau pemerintah daerah. Hasil dari program MBKM ini menunjukkan adanya pengembangan soft skill dibidang teknologi. Keberhasilan program ini diukur melalui [pengenalan industry bidang teknologi, penigkatan keterampilan teknis, peningkatan soft skill, praktikum dan freelancing, pengalaman kerja praktis, kesempatan kerja]. Kesimpulannya, program Masyarakat Berbasis Kampus (MBKM) ini memberikan manfaat yang signifikan bagi mahasiswa yang melaksanakan magang dalam program MBKM. Magang ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pembelajaran berharga bagi mahasiswa kedepannya dan memperkuat peran perguruan tinggi dalam pembangunan masyarakat.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan pada kegiatan magang mahasiswa sistem komputer di PT. Xtend Indonesia dengan fokus pada peningkatan kompetensi mereka. Pendampingan dilakukan melalui pengembangan modul magang yang dirancang untuk memastikan mahasiswa dapat mengintegrasikan konsep teoritis dengan praktik di dunia industri. Selain itu, dosen pembimbing memberikan arahan, evaluasi, dan bimbingan selama periode magang. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kompetensi mahasiswa sistem komputer. Mereka berhasil mengaplikasikan pengetahuan teoritis dalam proyek-proyek praktis di PT. Xtend Indonesia, termasuk pengembangan perangkat lunak, manajemen jaringan, dan keamanan sistem. Mahasiswa dapat mengasah keterampilan pemrograman dan penerapan struktur data dalam konteks proyek nyata. Meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang bagaimana algoritma dan struktur data berinteraksi dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak. Hasil pengabdian ini memberikan dasar bagi pengembangan strategi berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam magang di industri.
