Abstract

            Perubahan gaya hidup dan tuntutan ekonomi pada zaman modern sekarang ini, menuntut agar seseorang dapat mengatur waktunya semaksimal mungkin, baik dalam urusan pribadi maupun pekerjaan mereka, misalnya dalam hal mengolah data buah kelapa sawit masuk dan keluar, dengan hal ini perlahan-lahan mulai berkembang suatu pengolahan data yang memberikan kemudahan dalam hal mengolah data buah kelapa sawit masuk dan keluar. CV.Anggi Jaya Utama merupakan salah satu pelaku usaha yang bergerak dalam bidang pembelian dan penjualan kelapa sawit dalam skala besar, terkait sistem yang digunakan saat ini ada beberapa keluhan yang dirasakan oleh pemilik CV. Anggi Jaya utama, pada saat pengolahan data karena adanya faktur yang hilang dan data yang sama.Tujuan dilakukan penelitian adalah untuk merancang sebuah sistem informasi pengolahan data buah kelapa sawit masuk dan keluar dengan menggunakan sistem informasi. Metodologi penelitian yang dilakukan dalam pembuatan aplikasi ini melalui tahapan pengembangan sistem SDLC yaitu tahapan perencanaan, tahap analisis, tahap perancangan, dan tahap implementasi sehingga diperoleh hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa dengan adanya aplikasi ini memudahkan CV. Anggi Jaya Utama dalam mengolah data sawit masuk dan sawit keluar.

Abstract

Geographic Information System (GIS) is a system designed to work with spatially-referenced data or geographic coordinates. According to data owned by Traffic Directorate of West Sumatra Police, the number of accident-prone areas in West Sumatra is 48 points. This leads to the need for a Geographic Information System of accident-prone areas in West Sumatra based on the web to describe the map of vulnerable area locations along with the information needed. Geographic Information System Application of Web-Based Accident Complex, with programming languages (JavaScript and PHP), MySQL as database and Google Maps API. The result of this research is the creation of a web-based GIS application that can present information about the location of accident-prone areas in West Sumatra in detail and can be accessed easily be used people.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of substantive technical education and training program for Islamic High School (Madrasah Aliyah/MA) throughout Central Java and Yogyakarta. Quantitative research with "One-Group Pretest-Postest Design" research design was used. Population and samples were taken from all Biology teachers throughout Central Java and Yogyakarta with a total of 33 participants. Instruments for data retrieval were questions about pretest and posttest. The data were in the form of participants’ pretest and posttest results. Based on the Wilcoxon test results, it obtained t count -3.083, while p = 0.002 <0.05, it could be concluded that substantive education and training can effectively improve the material mastery for Madrasah Aliyah biology teachers. The materials were the analysis of Graduate Competence Standard (SKL), Core Competence (KI), Basic Competence (KD), Biology Indicators of Madrasah Aliyah, essential material of anatomy and physiology of animals and plants, cells, animal and plant tissues, metabolic processes, biotechnology and their application, genetic in inheritance, and the practice of Madrasah aliyah biology learning.

Abstract

Berdasarkan survei yang dilakukan pada Juli 2017 bahwa data yang dimiliki oleh Kantor Wilayah Kementerian Agama Sumatera Barat, pondok pesantren yang ada di Sumatera Barat Tahun Pengajaran 2016/2017 berjumlah 211 lembaga. Saat ini informasi mengenai Pondok Pesantren terdapat pada website Education Management Informasion System (EMIS) dengan akses http://emispendis.kemenag.go.id. Namun dari website tersebut masyarakat hanya dapat informasi mengenai jumlah pondok pesantrennya saja sehingga masyarakat tidak mengetahui bagaimana situasi lingkungan yang ada pada pondok pesantren baik itu berupa peta, nama, nomor telepon, foto dan informasi-informasi lainnya. Untuk itu dilakukan penelitian guna memberikan solusi bagi masyarakat dan juga pihak Kantor Wilayah Kementerian Agama Sumatera Barat dalam melayani masyarakat terkait informasi pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini menghasilkan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) pondok pesantren. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu pengamatan, mewawancarai dan memberikan beberapa pertanyaan kepada Kepala sub bagian Informasi dan Humas (INMAS) Kantor Wilayah Kementerian Agama Sumatera Barat, penelitian laboratorium, dan penerapan Object Oriented Development Life Cycle (OODLC). SIG yang akan dibangun ini dikembangkan dengan kerangka website HTML, dengan bahasa pemrograman (Javascript dan PHP), MySql sebagai basis data dan Google Maps API.

Abstract

This study examines the Indian perspective on emotions, focusing on the concept of Gunas or Subjective Experiences. Indian Philosophies emphasize the transient nature of emotions and advocate for achieving emotional equilibrium through allegiance to a higher power and surrender. The study concludes that spirituality plays a crucial role in shaping individuals' emotional experiences, contributing to improved mental well-being and reduced narcissistic tendencies. Religious practices foster a sense of security and trust in a "superior being", while emotions involve the feelings experienced towards God or the Divine. Resilience, defined as the ability to adapt in the face of difficulties, is closely linked to these components. The hypothesis posits that an affinity towards the concept of God optimizes both emotions and resilience, fostering well-being across physical, psychological, emotional, and social domains. By investigating the interplay between emotions, religion, and resilience from an Indian perspective, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of their complex relationship and their impact on mental health. The utilization of library research allows for an in-depth exploration of relevant literature and philosophical texts. The insights derived from this research have the potential to inform mental health interventions and promote holistic well-being in diverse cultural contexts. By recognizing the significance of religious and spiritual factors in emotional experiences and resilience, practitioners can tailor interventions that address the specific needs of individuals within different cultural and religious frameworks, ultimately enhancing their overall mental well-being.

Abstract

English is something that must be mastered in this era of globalization. One indicator of English proficiency is the TOEFL score. The purpose of this training is to improve the ability of UIN Salatiga Sharia Faculty students in 2022 to work on TOEFL questions. The participants in this training were 30 Sharia faculty students from various semesters who had been selected through portfolios. This training method involves a pretest, hybrid lectures (online and offline), and a post-test. The result of this study is an increase in student TOEFL scores from a minimum initial score of 310 to 350. Furthermore, the average score in the pretest is 315 to 375 in the post-test.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to develop educational materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and worksheets, utilizing a problem-based learning approach to enhance the mathematical problem-solving abilities of ninth-grade junior high school students in dealing with curved side 3D space problems. This research falls under the category of development research (R&D) and employs the 4-D method, which involves defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The outcome of the study is the creation of valid and practical learning materials, validated by experts with scores of 3.88 for the syllabus, 3.84 for the lesson plans, and 3.77 for the worksheets, meeting the criteria for high validity. Additionally, the practicality scores obtained from small and large group trials were 3.64 and 3.61, respectively, indicating a high level of practicality. In conclusion, the mathematics learning materials developed based on the problem-based learning model for the topic of curved 3D shapes effectively support the enhancement of students' mathematical problem-solving skills at the ninth-grade level, meeting both validity and practicality criteria.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the emergence of PMA No. 38 Year 2017, makes a big challenge for the academic community of the Faculty of Shari'ah UIN Salatiga in order to realize the quality of alumni who not only master the science of Islamic Law, but also master general law. This study examines the impact of the implementation of PMA No. 38/2017 on the curriculum and teaching methods at the Faculty of Shari'ah UIN Salatiga, and how this harmonization affects the social and academic dynamics within the faculty. Using a sociological approach, this study assesses how the curriculum changes affect the relationship between lecturers, students and educational institutions, and the implications for the quality and relevance of legal education in Indonesia. The findings show that despite significant efforts to harmonize the two disciplines, fundamental differences in methodologies and perspectives remain a major obstacle. The research also reveals the social impact of this integration on students, lecturers, and the academic community as a whole, and offers recommendations to improve the effectiveness and acceptability of scholarly harmonization in the future. The efforts made by the Faculty of Shari'ah in harmonizing science are to conduct a curriculum review by involving alumni and stakeholders. The impact of the change in degree after the issuance of PMA No. 38 of 2017 is the acceptance of alumni of the Islamic Family Law Study Program at the Faculty of Sharia UIN Salatiga with the initials FS in the M.Kn Master of Notarial Program at Sebelas Maret University Surakarta, this is proof that sharia graduates are eligible to become notary. This is because a number of degrees in the field of sharia studies related to law (such as Islamic Family Law (Ahwal Syakhshiyya), Sharia Economic Law and Constitutional Law (Siyasah Shar'iyyah) have now been uniformed with a law degree. This is as illustrated in the attachment of PMA 33/2016 and its amendments.

Abstract

Recognition of Indonesian Sign Language (BISINDO) is one of the main challenges in supporting communication for deaf and mute people. This study aims to examine the application of machine learning algorithms in BISINDO recognition through a systematic review of several scientific journals. The analysis was conducted to identify trends, research gaps, and the potential contribution of this technology in supporting inclusive communication. The results show that algorithms such as CNN, YOLOv8, and Mediapipe provide high accuracy in hand gesture detection and classification. Further research is needed to refine this technology, especially in terms of representative datasets and real-time implementation.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman guru serta siswa SMPN 12 Tangerang terkait keamanan identitas digital, ancaman phishing, dan rekayasa sosial. Dengan memanfaatkan metode edukasi interaktif dan pelatihan langsung, program ini berfokus pada upaya pencegahan kejahatan siber, seperti penipuan digital dan pencurian data pribadi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai pentingnya menjaga keamanan digital dan pengelolaan data pribadi. Program ini juga menghasilkan modul edukasi dan strategi praktis sebagai referensi bagi peserta dalam melindungi diri dari ancaman digital di masa mendatang.
