Abstract

Efektivitas, efisiensi, dan produktivitas perusahaan sangat ditentukan oleh beban kerja. Dengan mengetahui beban kerja, perusahaan dapat mengetahui jumlah pekerja yang optimal yang dibutuhkan untuk memenuhi target. Hal ini juga penting bagi Puslitbang Kopi dan Kakao Indonesia khususnya dalam pengolahan kopi di bagian pengemasan. Oleh karena itu akan dilakukan analisis beban kerja dengan menggunakan Metode Work Sampling. Dari hasil metode work sampling dapat diketahui produktivitas pekerja sebesar 0,90697, serta rating factor sebesar 0,09 dan tunjangan sebesar 22. Dengan hasil tersebut dapat dihitung waktu standar yang dibutuhkan oleh pekerja dalam pengemasan kopi. adalah 10,98 menit dan jumlah pekerja optimal yang dibutuhkan 2,06 orang.

Abstract

Pada situasi pandemi seperti saat ini permintaan terhadap produk obat herbal mengalami peningkatan. Buah mengkudu merupakan salah satu tanaman obat herbal yang dipercaya masyarakat memiliki banyak manfaat bagi kesehatan. Salah satu UMKM yang memproduksi obat herbal sari buah mengkudu adalah UD ZAM yang didirikan oleh Akhmad Muadi. Lokasi produksi berada di Jalan Tembokrejo Gang I Dusun Ampeldendo, Desa Bagorejo Kecamatan Gumukmas, Jember, Jawa Timur. Bahan baku buah mengudu diperoleh dari lahan sendiri dan pasokan petani mitra di wilayah Jember dan sekitar. Tujuan kegiatan ini meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam budidaya tanaman mengkudu yang terstandarisasi yang disebut GAP (Good Agriculture Practice). Metode yang digunakan dalam bimbingan teknis ini yakni survey, klasikal dalam penyampaian materi pelatihan, dan praktek langsung di lahan budidaya mengkudu. Kesimpulan dari hasil kegiatan ini yakni: (a) kegiatan bimbingan teknis  ini yang diikuti lebih 30 petani mitra berjalan sukses dan lancar yang ditunjukkan kesungguhan dan interaksi dua arah yang cukup intensif, (b) evaluasi akhir hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa petani mitra telah memahami dengan baik tentang prosedur GAP yang ditunjukkan dengan kemampuan dalam  mendeskripsikan, dan mempraktekkan  prosedur/teknik budidaya mengkudu secara benar dan tepat, dan (c) menyerahkan 50 batang bibit mengkudu unggul kepada petani mitra

Abstract

The Jember Regency is directly adjacent to the Indian Ocean and boasts a coastline of about 170 km along the southern coast of East Java. The districts of Puger, Ambulu, Gumukmas, and Kencong have the most potential for marine fisheries in this area. The primary location for fishing operations, fish landings, and the distribution of marine goods is the Puger Coastal Fisheries Port (PPP). More than 80% of the total marine capture fisheries production in Jember Regency comes from lemuru (Sardinella lemuru), lisong tuna (Euthynnus affinis), and scad (Decapterus spp.). Finding the key elements for maximizing fish resources in Jember Regency's coastal regions is the aim of this study. The methodology employed is a descriptive exploratory approach with an expert system component. The analysis technique used is cognitive mapping analysis. This research concludes that: of the 17 factors identified, they can be classified as follows: (a) In order of priority, the following key factors directly and indirectly influence other factors that determine the direction of fish resource utilization: the income of fishermen, business groups, mutual cooperation and deliberation, the lack of large-scale industries processing captured fisheries products, the employment opportunities provided by fish processing SMEs in coastal areas, and landowners acting as leasing companies or loan sharks, (b) The income of fishermen, landowners acting as leasing companies or loan sharks, business groups, discussion and collaboration, the lack of large-scale industries processing captured fisheries products, fish processing SMEs as job opportunities in coastal areas, and landowners acting as leasing companies or loan sharks are the dominant factors that directly affect other factors, in order of priority.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze risk management in the new product development (NPD) of cascara kombucha, a fermented drink made from coffee husk waste, in Karangpring Village, Jember.  Kombucha cascara is a local creative product innovation that offers health benefits and a sustainable solution by transforming waste into value-added products.  The research method used is Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) to identify risks and the House of Risk (HOR) to analyze and design risk mitigation strategies.  The research results indicate that the main risks in NPD kombucha cascara include supply chain instability, raw material quality, and product distribution.  The recommended mitigation strategies include adding alternative suppliers, utilizing adequate logistics services, and installing temperature and humidity control systems.  This research significantly contributes to supporting the development of innovative products and providing sustainable solutions for the waste-based food and beverage industry.  In addition, this research also provides recommendations for future NPD development, particularly in the context of locally-based creative waste products.

Abstract

Gadung is a type of tuber that can be consumed after undergoing a process to remove its toxins. UD. Gadung Badean is an MSME that produces gadung chips. The process of slicing gadung tuber at UD. Gadung Badean is still carried out traditionally with a manual slicer, which requires a long time and greater resources. This community service activity aims to introduce and implement an efficient and easy-to-use appropriate technology in the form of a gadung slicer. The activity was carried out through socialization and training. Results showed that the use of the gadung slicer can increase the speed of the production process and potentially increase production capacity.
