Abstract

Indonesia is one of the tourism destination countries in the world. The Indonesian government should minimize the risk of tourism activities at high-risk tourist attractions. In the digital era, efforts to optimize tourist protection can be made with artificial intelligence. This study aims to study tourist protection regulations in high-risk tourist areas in Indonesia and compare tourist protection regulations developed by other countries such as the United States of America, Japan, India, and Thailand. This research uses empirical legal legal research, combining normative legal elements with additional empirical data or elements. The results of this research show that there are traveler protection regulations in Indonesia, but their implementation still needs to be improved. Indonesia needs to learn from other countries, such as the United States of America, Japan, India, and Thailand, which have used international standards and implemented Artificial Intelligence. Through the recommended models for using Artificial Intelligence by researchers, it is hoped that they will be able to optimize the protection of tourists at high-risk tourist attractions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tantangan utama dalam penegakan hukum terhadap pelecehan dan intimidasi online melalui media sosial di Indonesia, serta dampak psikologis yang dialami korban dan strategi intervensi yang digunakan. Tantangan ini mencakup birokrasi yang rumit, kurangnya sosialisasi hukum, dan ketidakseimbangan literasi digital. Solusi yang diusulkan meliputi peningkatan literasi digital dan edukasi etika penggunaan media sosial melalui program pendidikan formal di sekolah dan kampanye kesadaran publik, serta memperkuat kerjasama antara pemerintah, platform media sosial, dan lembaga penegak hukum. Kontribusi penelitian ini adalah menyediakan rekomendasi yang dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk memperbaiki kebijakan dan strategi intervensi guna menciptakan lingkungan online yang lebih aman dan mendukung. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan yuridis normatif yang bertujuan menganalisis norma-norma hukum melalui bahan hukum primer seperti undang-undang, peraturan pemerintah, dan keputusan pengadilan, serta bahan hukum sekunder seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah, komentar hukum, dan laporan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kasus pelecehan dan intimidasi online mencakup berbagai bentuk seperti cyberbullying, doxing, revenge porn, dan pelecehan seksual online, yang memerlukan pendekatan hukum yang lebih efektif dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan korban, dengan memperhatikan faktor-faktor budaya dan sosial yang unik di Indonesia. Peningkatan literasi digital harus melibatkan program pendidikan di sekolah, kampanye kesadaran publik, dan lokakarya keterampilan digital untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang etika digital dan konsekuensi dari perilaku online. Selain itu, penguatan hukum dan penegakan regulasi diperlukan dengan menyusun regulasi yang jelas dan konsisten terkait perilaku online serta memberlakukan sanksi tegas terhadap pelanggar. Dukungan sosial dan psikologis yang kuat juga perlu diberikan melalui layanan konseling, dukungan kelompok, dan hotline bantuan untuk korban, serta program terapi kognitif untuk membantu korban mengenali dan mengubah pola pikir negatif serta mengembangkan keterampilan koping yang adaptif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pendekatan komprehensif diperlukan untuk mengatasi pelecehan dan intimidasi online di Indonesia, dengan fokus pada edukasi, regulasi, dan dukungan psikologis

Abstract

Indonesia, as a global tourism destination, faces various challenges in protecting tourists from the risks of natural disasters, health crises, and security threats. This study aims to analyze the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in risk communication systems for tourist protection in Indonesia. Through a systematic literature review approach, this study examines the concept of risk communication, the application of AI in tourism crisis management, and the implementation of this technology in the Indonesian context. The results show that AI has significant potential to improve the effectiveness of risk communication through early warning systems, information personalization, interactive chatbots, and predictive analytics. The implementation of AI in tourism risk communication in Indonesia requires integration between the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the National Disaster Management Agency, and the private sector. This study recommends the development of an AI framework that is responsive to local contexts, increased human resource capacity, and policies that support technological innovation in tourist protection. Importantly, this study contributes to the existing body of knowledge by providing a comprehensive framework that highlights how AI can be systematically integrated into national tourism safety strategies. It also offers practical insights for policymakers, tourism practitioners, and researchers in designing context-specific AI-based solutions for risk communication. By addressing theoretical and practical gaps, this research not only strengthens the academic discourse on AI in tourism but also supports the creation of safer and more resilient tourism destinations in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Teaching Factory (TeFa), as an integral component of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) framework in Indonesian Vocational High Schools (SMK), has emerged as a crucial technique to align educational outcomes with industrial requirements.  Students receive training in technical skills as well as entrepreneurial and manufacturing processes through practical production activities.  This integration presents a policy issue when TeFa goods enter the market and confront industry standards and consumer protection legislation.  This study investigates three primary inquiries: (1) to what degree do TVET Factory products manufactured by SMKs in Indonesia adhere to relevant industry standards; (2) is the existing legal framework sufficient to ensure consumer protection concerning TeFa products; and (3) how should forthcoming policies and regulations be formulated to harmonize consumer protection with industry development goals in the execution of the TVET Factory program.  The research used a qualitative methodology, incorporating case studies from five vocational schools across diverse domains of expertise, augmented by interviews with stakeholders including educators, industry partners, and regulatory bodies.  The findings indicate that the compliance of TeFa products with industry standards remains inconsistent, and current rules do not specifically address items based on vocational education.  This generates legal uncertainty and impediments in product down streaming.  Consequently, a novel, adaptable policy framework is required to safeguard consumers while promoting industry expansion through the synergy of TVET and market laws.
