Abstract

The influence of the STEM approach has been widely studied. However, a summary of how much influence STEM has on critical thinking skills from these various studies has not been done well. This article examines the impact of the STEM approach on students' capacity for critical thought when studying physics and science. This type of research is quantitative research with meta-analysis methods. Articles from recent four-year publications in national and international journals serve as data sources. Only 16 articles met the criteria for further analysis. This study's method of data analysis involved calculating the effect size to provide a summary effect size. There are four moderator variables analyzed: learning models, teaching materials, subject matter, and education level. Based on the study's findings, it can be said that the STEM approach to fostering students' critical thinking abilities has the largest impact size when used in motion systems courses at the high school level, using media schoology and worksheets for the students. The STEM approach is proven to have a high summary effect size on students' critical thinking skills, with a score of 1.37 (high category).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah pada kelas IV di SDN Kalianget Timur I, serta untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat di dalam pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah pada kelas IV di SDN Kalianget Timur I. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Sumber data yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah kepala sekolah, guru kelas IV, dan siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model Miles & Huberman yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah pada kelas IV di SDN Kalianget Timur I ada 2, yaitu kegiatan membaca buku non pelajaran di dalam hati selama 15 menit sebelum pembelajaran dimulai baik dilaksanakan di dalam kelas maupun di luar kelas, serta penggunaan pojok baca. Untuk mekanisme pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah di SDN Kalianget Timur I dilaksanakan dalam 3 tahapan, yaitu tahap pembiasaan, tahap pengembangan, dan tahap pembelajaran. Selain itu, faktor pendukungnya yaitu adanya motivasi dan keterlibatan dari pihak kepala sekolah, guru kelas IV, dan orang tua dalam pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah, tersedianya pojok baca di dalam ruang kelas IV, tersedianya bahan bacaan yang bervariasi pada pojok baca. Faktor penghambatnya yaitu buku yang ada di perpustakaan masih belum bervariasi, kurangnya minat peserta didik dalam membaca, dan ada siswa yang bergurau dengan temannya pada saat pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze bibliometric data using the supporting application Publish or Perish and mapping tools in VOSviewer with data in RIS format. The method used is descriptive quantitative to examine how Project-Based Learning can enhance creativity skills in entrepreneurship. From the search results, 200 journals were found from the years 2015-2024, which were then grouped into three categories based on their publication year. After categorizing the journal data, the most published articles were in 2022, indicating an opportunity for further research on the theme of entrepreneurial creativity. Entrepreneurial creativity can be possessed by students and can be developed through education. Entrepreneurship education is crucial to fostering creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship, and provides information to those who wish to establish small-scale businesses. Entrepreneurship education can turn an individual into an entrepreneur and positively influence entrepreneurial attitudes and innovation. Entrepreneurship education not only imparts practical knowledge on how to start and manage a business but also plays a vital role in developing an entrepreneurial mindset, attitude, and skills such as perseverance, resilience to failure, and the desire to learn and grow. Project-based learning models can be used to enhance entrepreneurial motivation, as students not only understand the ideas but can also explain the importance of the knowledge and skills acquired.
