Abstract

ABSTRACTThe implementation of the Distance Learning policy in all schools in Indonesia due to the Covid-19 outbreak has affected the teaching process. This quantitative research elucidates how EFL teaching and learning cope with the procedure. Two aspects will be illuminated in this research; the first is how schools and teachers prepare for online-based distance learning. The second is how the learning process conducts during the distance learning policy. This research collected data from 167 participants, including vice principals, EFL teachers, IT operators, and students from senior high schools in Palu, Central Sulawesi Provinces. The data was analyzed following the Illuminative Evaluation model by Parlett and Hamilton. The results found that schools and teachers are more well-equipped and prepared than the students. However, some students still face difficulties due to the absence of facilities and geographical situation. In the learning process, more flexible policies in class are still implemented by teachers, especially for students with limited access and lack of affective aspects. ABSTRAKPenerapan kebijakan Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh ke seluruh sekolah di Indonesia akibat wabah Covid-19 berdampak pada proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menjelaskan bagaimana pengajaran dan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris harus beradaptasi dengan protocol kesehatan. Dua aspek yang disoroti dalam penelitian ini; pertama, bagaimana sekolah dan guru mempersiapkan pembelajaran jarak jauh berbasis online. Kedua, bagaimana proses pembelajaran dilakukan selama penerapan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan data dari 167 peserta, termasuk wakil kepala sekolah, guru Bahasa Inggris, operator IT, dan siswa dari sekolah menengah atas di Palu, Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Data dianalisis dengan model Illuminative Evaluation oleh Parlett dan Hamilton. Hasilnya ditemukan bahwa sekolah dan guru lebih siap dibandingkan dengan siswa. Beberapa siswa masih menghadapi kesulitan karena tidak adanya fasilitas dan situasi geografis. Dalam proses pembelajaran, guru masih harus memberikan kebijakan yang lebih fleksibel di kelas, terutama bagi siswa dengan akses yang terbatas dan aspek afektif yang kurang.

Abstract

The internalization of Islamic values in Islamic education, especially in public universities, has yet to run optimally due to limited learning time. One of the faculties that develop Islamic education learning in non-formal activities is the Faculty of Public Health (FKM) at the University of Tadulako, Palu. Currently, there is phenomena lack of moderate though among university students. Therefore, the researcher intends to identify and analyze the results of internalizing Islamic values in the tarbiyah activities of Faculty of Public Health students at the University of Tadulako in Palu. This study used qualitative paradigm with a phenomenological approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. In depth-interview was conducted with ten informants. The data analysis technique uses the matrix style and tests its validity through the triangulation method. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the form of Islamic valyes internalization at the s faculty includes studies of divine values in the form of aqidah values. For example, the consequences of the shahada, then sharia values with practical worship material, knowing Islamic dinul and others. Furthermore, regarding insaniyah values with the topic of study discussing ukhuwah Islamiyah. It was held routinely one to two times a week accompanied by direct practice, namely; reading tests of the Al-Qur'an, Tahsin, thematic and preventive studies. The results aslso show that students internalize Islamic values not only professed in their hearts or verbally, but are proven by realizing divine values and insaniyah values in perfecting their beliefs, sharia, and morals, for example carrying out religious orders, worship properly and behave well with others.

Abstract

Era Society 5.0 merupakan proses kolaboratif di mana manusia sebagai pusatnya (human-centric) dan teknologi sebagai fondasinya (berbasis teknologi). Pendidikan era 5.0 merupakan proses pendidikan yang menitikberatkan pada pembangunan manusia sebagai makhluk yang berakal, berilmu, dan beretika, yang dibantu oleh kemajuan teknologi saat ini. Guru diharapkan mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang efektif dan mengelola kelas dalam rangka meningkatkan peran guru dalam proses belajar mengajar dan hasil belajar siswa. Guru adalah pendidik profesional yang tanggung jawab utamanya mendidik dan mengembangkan peserta didik dari pendidikan anak usia dini hingga jalur pendidikan formal. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan kajian Kepustakaan. Menurut Moleong dalam Sukaesih menyatakan bahwa penelitian kualitatif adalah penelitian yang bermaksud untuk memahami fenomena tentang apa yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian.

Abstract

This article discusses the use of inquiry discovery learning method to improve students’ learning achievement in Islamic religious education subject at a junior high school in Palu city. This study used a qualitative method with data collection techniques such as direct observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The research findings show that our study conclude that the use of HOTS in learning Islamic religious education can improve students achievement. The students not only increase their achevement in learning the Islamic religious knowledge, but they also have high order thinking skill which support them to think critically regarding various topic in Islamic education subject. They also have skill to collaborate, communicate, and cooperate during learning the subject with their friends.

Abstract

Several incidents that have occurred in recent times in this country strongly suggest that differences are often used as a tool for provocation, leading to unnecessary tension and violence. Therefore, tolerance has become an urgent necessity that the Indonesian nation must prioritize by redefining attitudes of tolerance, particularly in the context of religion, appropriately within a pluralistic society. This thesis examines the implementation of tolerance culture by Islamic Education teachers towards students at State Senior High School 1 Poso. The findings reveal that the forms of tolerance practiced by teachers and students include helping peers in need, respecting those with different beliefs, refraining from disrupting peers performing religious rituals at school or outside school, visiting and praying for sick friends, and visiting social care homes of different religious backgrounds. The implementation of a tolerance culture by Islamic Education teachers at State Senior High School 1 Poso is carried out through teaching and setting examples for students to respect, care for, and appreciate diversity. This culture is integrated into the teaching-learning process both inside and outside the classroom. The impact of this tolerance culture is highly positive, fostering mutual respect and regard between students and teachers. It has created a safe, peaceful, comfortable, and conducive school environment, positively influencing the learning process. Based on these findings, the author recommends that the school principal, Islamic Education teachers, students, and all stakeholders work together to maintain and implement the culture of tolerance both within and beyond the school environment.

Abstract

This research discusses the efforts of the madrasah principal to improve the quality of Islamic education after the 2018 disaster. This research aims to examine the actions of the madrasah principal in improving the quality of Islamic education and identify the supporting and inhibiting factors faced by the madrasah principal in improving the quality of Islamic education after the 2018 natural disaster. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The study was conducted at State Islamic Senior High School 1 Palu. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and written documents. The results of this research show that the efforts made by the madrasah principal in improving the quality of Islamic education after the natural disaster include improving the quality of education and teaching, collaborating in the field of human resources, implementing education following the madrasah's vision and mission, maximizing the use of existing facilities and infrastructure, and proposing the construction of a building to the government and donors. Several factors that support the madrasah principal's efforts include the collaboration between the madrasah principal, teachers, educational staff, parents, and the community in achieving the goals of the madrasah principal.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam Penelitian ini adalah mengetahui.1) Bagaimana bentuk penerapan Edm e-RKAM Dalam penyusunan anggaran di MIS Paleleh Kabupaten Buol ? 2) Bagaimana proses Penerapan Edm E-RKAM Dalam penyusunan anggaran di MIS Paleleh Kabupaten Buol ? Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode kualitatif, yang menggunakan tehnik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan tehnik reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Bentuk penerapan Aplikasi EDM e-RKAM menggunakan G suite for education dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi LMS (Learning Manajemen Sistem )syncronus Asyncronus,EDM.V2 dan e-RKAM V2. 2) Proses Penerapan terdiri dari tahapan penyusunan EDM dan tahapan penyusunan e-RKam.Pada proses penyusunan EDM e-RKAM tentunya akan ada banyak peluang dan hambatan, namun ada solusi untuk mengatasi Hambatan.3.Tahapan Penyusunan EDM meliputi : Sosialisasi,Pembentukkan TPM,Bimbingan tehnis,pengimpulan data,penetuan level kinerja, pengisian instrumen,Approval Kepala Madrasah,Reviuw oleh Pengawas.Sedangkan tahapan penyusunan e-RKAM meliputi : Perencanaan,Realisasi dan Laporan 4) Penerapan Aplikasi Evaluasi Diri Madrasah (EDM) dan RKAM dalam menyusuan anggaran Pada MIS Paleleh Kabupaten Buol, menggunakan konsep manajeman pendidikan islam yaitu Perencanaan (Planning), pengorganisasian (Organizing), pergerakan (actuating), dan evaluasi (contoling). 5) Upaya Mengatasi Hambatan adalah TIM Inti Kabupaten (TIK )memberikan sosialisasi lebih intensif dan Pembentukkan TIM Pengembang Madrasah yang berkompoten.

Abstract

Purpose: This research examines the mechanism of multi-stakeholder transformative dialogue in transforming pesantren orientation through tasawuf values and its relationship with post-conflict deradicalization. Method: A qualitative case study was conducted at Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur'an Amanah, Poso, Sulawesi Tengah during 12 months (January-December 2024) through observation, interviews, participant observation, and document analysis with a theoretical framework integrating positive dialogue theory from Bourdieu and 45% (2010) positive impacts. Result: The research findings reveal a comprehensive dialogue model that integrates: (1) ekogrit (recognition ecology) transforming rigid understanding of religious uniformity; (2) restructuring curriculum and pedagogy towards contextual-substantivist approaches rather than textualist-formalist such as low self-esteem, patience, and universal love; (3) implementation of sustainable dialogue with multi-religious communities based on the principle of ukhuwan insaniyyah (universal brotherhood) and sulh (reconciliation). Tasawuf values such as iksan, qana'ah, and dzikir practices strengthen collective identity and spiritual resilience in facing post-conflict trauma. Conclusion: The transformation produces tangible impacts: trust among religious communities increased 78% (2010 to 2024), inter-religious conflicts decreased from 12 cases/year to almost zero since 2016, membership growth in Koperasi Syariah Lintas Agama reached 457%, and the deradicalization model based on tasawuf values is replicable for 128,000 pesantren in Indonesia, contributing significantly to SDG 16 regarding peace, justice, and strong institutions.

Abstract

While dhikr practices in majelis taklim have been widely examined, limited attention has been paid to how these practices acquire new meanings and social functions within the shifting contexts of contemporary Indonesian Muslim communities. This study examines dhikr not merely as a devotional ritual, but as a socially embedded practice through which Qur’anic engagement is transformed into ethical orientation and social relations. Using a descriptive-phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observation across several majelis taklim affiliated with different Sufi ṭarīqas in Palu, Indonesia. The analysis reveals four interrelated themes: variations in participants’ understanding of dhikr from rote recitation to reflective awareness; strong aesthetic engagement through rhythm and melody that deepens emotional resonance; functional dimensions of dhikr that support religious learning, emotional regulation, and moral formation; and the emergence of faith-based social capital manifested in trust, reciprocity, and cooperative networks. Conceptually, the study advances the Dynamic Reception–Conversion Model (DRCM), which explains how dhikr operates as a process linking Qur’anic reception, social mediation, and socially productive outcomes. These findings contribute to Qur’anic reception studies and scholarship on “living Sufism” by demonstrating that dhikr functions as a dynamic mechanism of social transformation, offering implications for community cohesion and faith-sensitive approaches to education and social development.

Abstract

Pembentukan akhlak peserta didik merupakan salah satu tujuan utama pendidikan Islam. Akhlak yang baik tidak hanya dibentuk melalui pengajaran kognitif, tetapi juga melalui keteladanan nyata dari pendidik, khususnya guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran keteladanan guru PAI dalam membentuk akhlak peserta didik di SDN Sarude, Kecamatan Sarude, Kabupaten Pasangkayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI berperan strategis dalam pembentukan akhlak peserta didik melalui sikap, perilaku, dan pembiasaan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Keteladanan guru dalam kedisiplinan, kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan sopan santun menjadi faktor dominan yang menumbuhkan perilaku positif peserta didik. Selain itu, guru PAI di SDN Sarude juga menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis nilai-nilai Islam, seperti pembiasaan salat berjamaah, salam-senyum-sapa, serta kegiatan keagamaan rutin. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keteladanan guru PAI merupakan media pendidikan moral yang paling efektif dalam membentuk karakter dan akhlak mulia peserta didik di sekolah dasar.
