Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic has had an impact on the economy, such as factories in Cimanggung District, Sumedang Regency, laying off their employees. Lecturers and students try to solve this problem by building SMEs. This begins by analyzing the village’s potential in the form of mahogany waste and the potential of community human resources as former wood furniture workers. The method used in the design is Quality Function Deployment which can be interpreted as the implementation of achieving product quality which is judged by the level of customer satisfaction being pursued. So this method has an approach by involving consumers and stakeholders in every design stage. Based on the research results, this creative product design will be accepted by consumers if it meets the aspects of ergonomic design, durable and strong material, environmentally friendly, has attractive colors and designs as well as prices and uses are appropriate. Based on this research, a product prototype is formed. The size of mahogany glass products based on anthropometric data is divided into 3 size categories. Small size (S), medium size (M), and large size (L). Anthropometric data processed are work station design data and work desks/chairs. From the calculation and design, ergonomic work stations are produced, namely cutting, turning, assembly and finishing work stations.

Abstract

ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH VERSION:CV Gradient Bandung is a company that specializes in plastic injection. The production system used in this company is make to order so that the number and specifications of the product vary according to the customer's wishes. This study aims to analyze and measure the workload of employees, especially employees of the production division at CV. Gradient, problems that arise due to employee workloads have an impact on concentration, performance, achievement, motivation, health and work accidents by calculating Cardiovascular Load (CVL), measuring mental workload using the National Aerobautics and Space Administration Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) score. . Based on the aspect of pulse calculation, the CVL percentage for the five production operators is 30%, which is included in the classification required to improve work methods, while one operator gets a percentage of 30% and is included in the fatigue classification. The result is that all production operators receive mental workloads with a score of less than 80 and fall into the category of moderate mental workloads. From the analysis using Fault Tree Analysis, it can be seen that the cause of excessive physical workload occurs due to environmental factors, high time requirements and physical physical needs CV Gradient Bandung adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang plastik khusus injeksi Plastik. Sistem produksi yang digunakan pada perusahaan ini adalah make to order sehingga jumlah dan spesifikasi produk berbeda-beda sesuai keinginan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dan mengukur beban kerja karyawan khususnya karyawan bagian produksi di CV. Gradient, permasalahan yang muncul akibat beban kerja karyawan berdampak pada konsentrasi, kinerja, prestasi, motivasi, kesehatan dan kecelakaan kerja dengan perhitungan Cardiovascular Load (CVL), pengukuran beban kerja mental menggunakan skor National Aetrobautics and Space Administration Task Load Index (NASA-TLX). Berdasarkan aspek perhitungan denyut nadi diperoleh presentase CVL untuk kelima operator produksi sebesar 30% yaitu masuk kedalam klasifikasi diperlukan perbaikkan metode kerja, sedangkan satu operator memperoleh persentase sebesar 30% dan masuk dalam klasifikasi kelelahan. Hasilnya adalah seluruh operator produksi menerima beban kerja mental dengan nilai skor kurang dari 80 dan masuk dalam kategori beban kerja mental sedang. Dari hasil analisis menggunakan Fault Tree Analysis dapat diketahui bahwa penyebab terjadinya beban kerja fisik berlebih terjadi karena faktor lingkungan, kebutuhan waktu yang tinggi dan kebutuhan fisik yang fisik.
