Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gaya kepemimpinan astha brata pada tokoh utama dalam novel Rangsang Tuban karya Padmasusastra. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua jenis yaitu dokumen dan informan. Sumber data jenis dokumen terdiri dari novel Rangsang Tuban karya Padmasusastra, jurnal, dan buku referensi. Adapun sumber data jenis informan adalah ahli sastra. Data yang dikaji berupa frasa, klausa, dan kalimat pada novel Rangsang Tuban karya Padmasusastra. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah analisis dokumen. Uji validitas data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi data dan triangulasi teori. Uji validitas data yang digunakan adalah model analisis interaktif (interactive model of analysis) yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah analisis gaya kepemimpinan pada delapan ajaran astha brata yaitu laku hambeging candra, laku hambeging dahana, laku hambeging kartika, laku hambeging kisma, laku hambeging samirana, laku hambeging samodra, laku hambeging surya, laku hambeging tirta.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of inculcating the value of character education to students through Javanese literary works of geguritan. The purpose of this study is to describe the value of character education contained in the anthology of Lathi geguritan by Eko Wahyudi. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data source in this study is the geguritan in the anthology of Lathi geguritan by Eko Wahyudi. The research data are in the form of words, phrases, clauses, sentences in geguritan which contain the value of character education. Data collection techniques using document analysis. Test the validity of the data using triangulation theory. The data analysis technique used is an interactive analysis technique using the Miles & Huberman model. The results of the study show that the values of character education contained in the anthology of Lathi geguritan by Eko Wahyudi include: religiosity, sociality, gender, justice, democracy, honesty, independence, fighting power, responsibility, and respect for the environment. Through geguritan in the anthology of Lathi's geguritan, the author wants to convey a message or message to the reader to become a complete human being with strong noble character.

Abstract

This research aims to explain (1) the aesthetic element of language that found in the anthology of Javanese poetry “Simbok”; (2) the value of character education that found in the anthology of Javanese poetry “Simbok”; (3) the relevance of Javanese poetry anthology “Simbok” as Javanese language teaching material for grade 9th Junior High School students. This is a descriptive qualitative research that uses document analysis method with a stylistic approach. The data source is a document in the form of an anthology of Javanese poetry “Simbok” and informants who are literary expert. Data collection is done by using documentation and interview techniques, then tested for the validity of the data using source triangulation and technical triangulation. The sequence of data analysis in this research includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and draw the conclusion. The result of this research obtained (1) the findings of language aesthetic elements in the form of the use of basa rinengga including tembung saroja, tembung garba, tembung plutan, tembung mawa aksara lira-liru, keratabasa, tembung entar, paribasan, saloka, cangkriman, dasanama, pepindan, gugontuhon, and purwakanti; (2 )the findings of character education values include religiousity, social, gender, justice, democracy, honesty, self determination, struggling ability, responsibility, and respect for nature; (3) the relevance of Javanese poetry anthology “Simbok” as teaching material for grade 9th Junior High Scool students. Based on the research result, the anthology of Javanese poetry “Simbok” is relevant to be used as Javanese language teaching material in learning to write a Javanese poetry because there are many examples of language aesthetics and character education values that are useful to help students learn to write Javanese poetry.

Abstract

Dalam upaya mengangkat gerakan feminisme dan menanggulangi merosotnya budi pekerti, maka dalam karya sastra mengajarkan nilai pendidikan budi pekerti. Salah satunya dengan pembelajaran karya sastra yaitu naskah drama. Dengan mengajarkan pendidikan budi pekerti melalui karya sastra, maka dapat menunjang terwujudnya pendidikan budi pekerti yang baik sesuai dengan norma, kaidah, dan aturan yang berlaku di masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui feminisme dan nilai pendidikan budi pekerti pada naskah “Retna Pambayun” karya Priyo Nugroho. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan teknik analisis reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik pustaka, simak, dan catat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat struktur pembangun naskah, analisis feminisme naskah, dan nilai pendidikan budi pekerti dalam naskah “Retna Pambayun”. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat empat kritik feminisme yang ada dalam naskah “Retna Pambayun” yaitu sosok Pambayun sebagai putri raja, sosok Pambayun sebagai prajurit negara, sosok Pambayun sebagai wanita, dan sosok Pambayun sebagai korban. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu struktur yang membangun naskah, dan kritik sastra feminisme untuk menganalisis feminis tokoh utama. Selain itu terdapat nilai pendidikan budi pekerti salah satunya nilai-nilai kesusilaan.

Abstract

This research aims to increase: (1) the quality of learning process seen from student learning motivation aspect in writing javanese narrative essay; and (2) the students’ skill in writing javanese narrative essay on VII E Grade SMP N 1 Banyudono through applying mind mapping method and using serial picture IT based. This research is a classroom action research which conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subjects were students of VII E Grade SMP N 1 Banyudono, the total of the students is 32 students. The data sources are informants (teacher and student), events, and documents. The datas were collected by interview, observation, test, and document analysis. The validity of the data using data triangulation and method triangulation. Data were analyzed using descriptive tehniques comparative and critical analysis. Based on the result of this research concluded that applying mind mapping method and using serial picture IT based can improve: (1) the quality of process in writing javanese narrative essay learning that seen from students’ learning motivation aspect; and (2) the result of students’ learning in writing javanese narrative essay in each cycle. The increase can be done with the procedures of learning as follows: (1) students are given a theme to create a narrative essay by displaying a themed serial picture; (2) students make mind mapping central in the midst of a picture of the mind mapping center; (3) students make the main branch emanating directly from mind mapping central; (4) students write the keyword above the branch, long branches adapted to long word; (5) students added a picture that is accordance with keywords in the mind mapping sheet; and (6) students develop a narrative essay based on mind mapping became a essay that is complete.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to identify feminism literary critism along with implementation character educational value in Langit Mendhung Sajroning Pangangen novel by Tulus Setiyadi . The research was a Langit Mendhung Sajroning Pangangen by Tulus Setiyadi javanese novel and interview. The sampling technique that used in this research was purposive sampling. The data was collected was used document analysis and interview. Techniques used for the data validity test were triangulation of theory and triangulation of data resources. Data analysis used interactive data model was includes: (1) data collection; (2) data reduction; (3) data display; and (4) conclusion drawing. The result of this research concluded as follows: (1) there are forms injustice againts women on the character Yani in Langit Mendhung Sajroning Pangangen novel by Tulus Setiyadi; and (2) there are character educational value includes: hard work, independent, social care, friendly/communicative, love the homeland, honest, and responsibility in Langit Mendhung Sajroning Pangangen novel by Tulus Setiyadi. The result of this research at least give some description andreference for student how to behave and maintain attitude againts woman and become a reference in implementing character building in daily life.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the unfitting usage of Aksara Jawa (Javanese script) found on the street name signs in Surakarta City. This study used descriptive qualitative method with case studies approach Surakarta City. Data sources used in this study include places (street name signs bards with Javanese script) and documents (Paugeran Sriwedari 1926 and tiga Gubernur 1996). Purposive sampling method is selected for this study for specific purpose. Findings indicate that (1) Unfitting usage of carakan, sandhangan, murda, and swara in Aksara Jawa was found on the street name signs in Surakarta City in accordance with Sriwedari and  Tiga Gubernur guideliness.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the disclosure of the values of Javanese local cultural wisdom in a novel which has positive influences on its readers. The novel Dhalang Mbarang Katresnan by Tulus Setiyadi as one of the novels that contain local cultural wisdom is part of cultural documentation. Therefore, this study uses literary anthropology as an assessment tool. The purpose of this study is to explain the local wisdom of Javanese culture in the novel Dhalang Mbarang Katresnan by Tulus Setyadi. The research method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative method. In this research, the data is the result of document analysis, and the data source is from the document. The sampling technique used in this research is the purposive sampling technique. The data collection in this study used document data assessment techniques. The results of this study indicate that there are two forms of local wisdom of Javanese culture. The first is local wisdom in the form of abstract values or norms that are beneficial if applied in everyday life. Second, there is objective local wisdom in the form of objects that can be seen.

Abstract

The purpose of this research were: (1) To determine the effect of learning difficulties in Javanese language on learning outcomes in class VIII students of SMP IT Nur Hasan Boyolali simultaneously. (2) To determine the effect of learning difficulties in Javanese on learning outcomes in class VIII students of SMP IT Nur Hasan Boyolali partially. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The population from this research is all students of class VIII SMP IT Nur Hasan Boyolali. Samples were taken using probability sampling techniques by means of simple random sampling. The amount of samples in this research were 119 respondents. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. The analysis prerequisite tests used in this research including: normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that: (1) There is a significant positive influence between the variables of learning difficulties in Javanese which consist of physiological, psychological, family, community and school environment on learning outcomes in class VIII students of SMP IT Nur Hasan Boyolali. (2) Based on the results of the analysis, simultaneously the physiological, psychological, family, community and school environment variables have a significant effect on learning outcomes in class VIII students of SMP IT Nur Hasan Boyolali. (3) Based on the results of the analysis, partially the physiological, psychological, family, community and school environment variables have a significant effect on learning outcomes in class VIII students of SMP IT Nur Hasan Boyolali.(4) The result of the regression line equation states that physiological variables have a coefficient of 0.549, psychological variables have a coefficient of 0.245, family variables have a coefficient of 0.257, community variables have a coefficient of 0.289 and school environment variables have a coefficient of 0.206. Therefore, physiological variables have the greatest contribution to learn outcomes in class VIII students of SMP IT Nur Hasan Boyolali.(5) The magnitude of the influence of physiological, psychological, family, community and school environment variables as seen from the Adjusted R square is 0.55.5. This means that 55.5% of learning outcomes can be explained by these six variables. While the rest (100% - 55.5% = 44.5%) is explained by other variables.

Abstract

This study is a descriptive qualitative research that’s aims to analysis male feminists and counter male feminists in the novel Ana Crita ing Pinggire Tebon by Tulus Setiyadi. Based on the content of the story that tells the life of the life of the character Wiyani is influenced by male characters, the novel is suitable to be studied with the study of feminism, espeially male feminists and counter male feminists. The data in the research are words, phrases, and sentences that are excerpts from the novel Ana Crita ing Pinggire Tebon. This research uses purposive sampling techniwue, data collection by means of document analysis. The validity test technique was carried out with theoritical triangulation and data source triangulation. The data analysis technique used was interactive analysis, with the sequence of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the analysis in the study can be concluded that the caracters classified as male feminists are Pak Dali, Kicuk, Somad, Kumagrenks, and Kondektur. While those classified as counter male feminists are Sulinggo, Togut, Pak Bentu, Ko Bien, Sastropedo, and Ahmad.
