Abstract

In manufacturing companies, vendors supply raw materials for production. There are two vendor selection methods: the merit system and the lowest-cost method. Criteria and their weights are crucial in determining the winning vendor. One approach that can be taken is the AHP method, which is used for decision-making. This research contributes to vendor selection through AHP training and support. Determining vendor criteria is crucial for information technology project success, so AHP training is considered beneficial and has a positive impact on the company.

Abstract

This study addresses the issue of controlling the inventory of raw materials for pen production at PT. XYZ uses Material Requirement Planning (MRP) to minimize excess inventory. The MRP calculates net requirements, planned receipts, planned order releases, and projected on-hand inventory based on estimated demand, product structure, lot size, lead time, and safety stock.  The results categorize 20 raw material components for ballpoint pen products into five levels, determining the optimal quantity and timing for ordering and receiving each component to meet production plans while avoiding excess stock or shortages. This study concludes that the MRP method can significantly optimize inventory management, reducing the risks of overstock and stockouts in the pen production process at PT. XYZ. Consistent application of the MRP method and regular evaluation of supplier capabilities are recommended to ensure efficient and effective raw material inventory planning and control.

Abstract

Sales transaction data contains rich information and can support company competitiveness. However, this transaction data is initially unstructured and needs to be processed into insight for the company's decision-making. Market Basket Analysis (MBA) is a data mining technique that can be used to study consumer purchasing patterns. This paper presents a case study on using an MBA to obtain consumer buying behaviors where the result of the MBA is then used to design a proposed layout. The animal market governed by Yogyakarta Province, known as Pasty Market, was used as a case study. Pasty Market is an animal trading center with around 30,000 square meters area and 255 sellers that sell various kinds of animals such as songbirds, dove birds, rabbits, cats, dogs, iguanas, turtles, ornamental chickens, and ornamental fish as well as animal food and cage. With this enormous area and number of merchants, the layout of Pasty Market becomes crucial in customer satisfaction. Association rules result in four priority levels in proposed layout planning, where these rules are used to determine the proximity among items in the proposed layout. These four levels of priority, ordered by the confidence value, are (1) “songbirds” and “bird food” (confidence value 91%), (2) “ornamental fish” and “turtles” (confidence value 80-90%), (3) “birdcages” and “songbirds” (confidence value 70-80%), and (4) “cats” and “dog” as well as “birdcages” and “birds” (confidence value 50-70%). Association rules were then used as the basis for determining the proximity value between merchants, where the proximity rules were then used for designing a proposed layout.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) sering kali menghadapi tantangan dalam penerapan standar Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3). Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menyampaikan hasil penyuluhan K3 yang dilakukan di UMKM Pesona Cemilan Ringan, khususnya di area produksi. Penyuluhan difokuskan pada lima aspek utama: keselamatan kerja di area produksi, penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD), penanganan bahan dan peralatan secara aman, pencegahan kebakaran, serta pertolongan pertama di tempat kerja. Diharapkan, dengan peningkatan pemahaman dan penerapan prinsip-prinsip K3 maka UMKM dapat menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang aman dan sehat bagi seluruh karyawan.

Abstract

The halal retailing standard was first introduced by the Department of Malaysian Standards in 2010, known as MS 2400-3:2010. This standard was developed to protect Muslim consumers with the assurance of halal products. However, this management system needs to be more prescriptive on how the retail layout should be organized. In addition, this management also overrides the consideration of customer purchase behaviors or preferences. This research aims to design the layout of retail outlets by considering customer buying behavior and halal retailing standards. This study used the association rule-market basket analysis (AR-MBA) to determine the pattern of customer shopping behavior. One Islamic retail in Indonesia was used as a case study, where one-month sales transaction data was analyzed using AR-MBA. In addition, the activity relationship chart (ARC) was used to qualitatively analyze the placement of a product department by considering halal retailing standards. The results of AR-MBA obtained 21 associations among product departments, which were then used as a basis for proposed layouts while still considering the product characteristics and halal retailing standards. This research output provided a proposed product layout for retail outlets by considering quantitative factors (AR-MBA output) and qualitative factors (MS standard).

Abstract

Pada kalangan siswa sekolah menengah pertama, pelajaran muatan lokal bahasa daerah ini kurang begitu diminati dan seringkali dianggap remeh. Padahal untuk mempelajari, mengembangkan, serta melestarikan kebudayaan Jawa secara benar dan terarah adalah dapat melalui dunia pendidikan sejak dini. Di kalangan remaja lebih memilih menggunakan bahasa Indonesia dan mempelajari bahasa asing, dari pada bahasa daerah. Android merupakan sebuah sistem operasi yang bersifat open source yaitu memberikan kebebasan bagi developer untuk mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi.  Dengan kelebihan dari sistem operasi android,  akan banyak membantu pengguna smartphone  berbasis android untuk dapat menikmati beragam aplikasi, salah satunya adalah Aplikasi penerjemah bahasa Indonesia-jawa krama inggil  ini.Tujuan utama dari aplikasi ini adalah membantu mereka mempermudah pencarian kosa kata dalam bahasa indonesia maupun bahasa jawa krama inggil secara efektif dan efisien. Adapun jenis data yang digunakan adalah jenis data sekunder dimana data diperoleh dari buku referensi dan literatur yang berhubungan dengan Skripsi ini.  Terdapat beberapa tahapan dalam pembuatan aplikasi ini, yaitu analisa, kebutuhan aplikasi, perancangan sistem, perancangan tampilan dan evaluasi terhadap model program yang telah dihasilkan / interface. Aplikasi penerjemah bahasa indonesia – jawa karma inggil berbasis android ini, dapat digunakan pada  smartphone  yang berbasis android dengan versi minimal 2.2. Dalam pengujiannya aplikasi ini dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan mendapatkan skor 74, 60%. Kata kunci : Android, Aplikasi, Indonesia– Krama Inggil
