Abstract

Pertumbuhan ekonomi merupakan indikator penting dalam menilai keberhasilan pembangunan daerah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan investasi, tenaga kerja, dan jumlah penduduk serta menguji pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Provinsi Jambi selama periode 2010–2023. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari publikasi resmi Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) dan instansi terkait. Analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk melihat tren perkembangan masing-masing variabel, sedangkan pengujian pengaruh dilakukan dengan regresi linear berganda menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum investasi, tenaga kerja, dan jumlah penduduk di Provinsi Jambi mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata pertumbuhan investasi 44,21 persen, tenaga kerja 2,64 persen, dan jumlah penduduk 1,35 persen. Secara parsial, jumlah penduduk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan nilai koefisien 2,672 (sig. 0,000). Sebaliknya, investasi (sig. 0,679) dan tenaga kerja (sig. 0,084) tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Namun, secara simultan ketiga variabel tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan nilai F-statistik 263,956 (sig. 0,000) dan R-square sebesar 98,80 persen. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pengelolaan penduduk sebagai faktor penentu dalam mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease whose incidence is constantly increasing, often caused by a lack of knowledge about proper nutritional intake. The goal is to investigate the relationship between public knowledge about nutritional intake and the emergence of type 2 diabetes mellitus in the Sukodono Health Center area. Observation of correlation analysis using a cross-sectional approach. A total of 55 patients were collected using the simple random sampling method to be used as a sample. Nutritional intake knowledge questionnaires as well as blood sugar checks during fasting were used for data collection. Data analysis in this study used the chi-square test. While patients with low knowledge had fasting glucose levels showing unmanaged spikes, reaching a figure of about 63.6%, those who understood the condition of diabetes well were generally better able to maintain the stability of glucose levels in their bodies. Knowledge of nutrient intake and the incidence of type 2 diabetes showed a relevant and significant correlation (p=0.019). Health education related to nutritional intake has proven to be important in the management and prevention of complications of diabetes mellitus. Improving education and health interventions is a crucial step to reduce the incidence of type 2 DM.

Abstract

Semua orang yang menderita diabetes harus disarankan untuk melakukan aktivitas fisik dan latihan sebagai bagian dari manajemen glukosa mereka dan kesehatan secara umum. Jika tidak disertai nefropati, aktivitas fisik adalah komponen penting dalam mengelola diabetes mellitus. Aktivitas fisik yang dilakukan selain untuk menjaga kebugaran juga dapat membantu menurunkan berat badan dan meningkatkan sensitifitas insulin. Penderita diabetes mellitus masih banyak yang kurang dalam melakukan aktivitas fisik dan menunjukkan self efficacy yang rendah. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy dalam upaya peningkatan aktivitas pasien diabetes mellitus melalui psikoedukasi dan pendampingan pada 60 peserta prolanis Puskesmas Tuban, Kec. Tuban, Kab. Tuban. Metode yang digunakan adalah memberikan psikoedukasi dengan penyuluhan dan diskusi menggunakan media booklet. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah self efficacy peserta untuk melakukan aktivitas fisik meningkat ditunjukkan dengan kemauan yang kuat dari peserta untuk melakukan aktivitas fisik disertai dengan peningkatan peserta yang melakukan aktivitas fisik sesuai anjuran. Self-efficacy menjadi faktor yang berkaitan dengan tingkat aktivitas fisik peserta, dengan meningkatnya self efficacy peserta untuk melakukan aktivitas fisik, meningkatkan aktivitas fisik peserta prolanis

Abstract

Objective: The development of augmented reality based student is used to improve the critical thinking skills of junior high school science students. This research aims to describe the validity, practicality and effectiveness of augmented reality based student worksheet oh Human Respiratory System course. Method: This research applies the ADDIE model was carried out at Jember’ 12 Junior High School and the data collection instruments used are observation sheets, validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and test assessment sheets. Results: The results obtained are the validity of the product is declared valid with a percentage of 92%, the practicality results are classified as practicaland the effectiveness results are very positive. N-gain results of 0.55 which is included in the moderate category. Novelty: Augmented reality-based student worksheet can be used in science learning as an alternative learning media to improve critical thinking skills of junior high school students.

Abstract

The mental health and well-being of college students have become critical concerns, with rising levels of stress, anxiety, and depression reported globally. Traditional mental health interventions often focus on symptom reduction, but positive psychology emphasizes enhancing happiness and personal strengths. This study evaluates the effectiveness of a positive psychology intervention on the well-being of college students. A total of 200 students participated, with 100 assigned to the experimental group and 100 to the control group. The experimental group underwent an 8-week intervention involving gratitude exercises, strengths identification, and mindfulness practices, while the control group received no intervention. Data were collected using the Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS), the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), and the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) before and after the intervention. Results showed significant increases in positive affect and life satisfaction, alongside reductions in anxiety and stress in the experimental group compared to the control group. Qualitative feedback indicated improvements in optimism and resilience. The study concludes that positive psychology interventions can effectively enhance happiness and well-being among college students, suggesting the potential for incorporating these interventions into college mental health programs to promote healthier lifestyles.
