Abstract

Computer-based full costing methods can help increase MSME profits by providing more accurate and transparent production cost calculations. With a better understanding of costs, MSMEs can set appropriate selling prices, optimize resource allocation, and identify areas that require efficiency, thereby increasing profitability. Computer-based full costing is an effective tool to help MSMEs increase profits by providing accurate and transparent cost information. Although there are challenges in implementation, its long-term benefits in terms of cost efficiency, decision making, and increased profitability are significant for MSME business growth.

Abstract

This study examines the determinants of tax avoidance in the consumer goods sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2023 using multiple linear regression. While the method is appropriate, the low R-squared value (24.7%) indicates that key factors such as corporate governance, ownership structure, or international operations may have been omitted, limiting the model’s explanatory power. The Cash Effective Tax Rate (CERT) is used as a proxy for tax avoidance due to its common use in literature; however, it may be influenced by temporary differences or one-off tax items, potentially masking consistent tax planning behavior. Acknowledging this limitation, future research should consider multi-metric approaches and broader variables to capture a more comprehensive picture. Due to sector-specific characteristics, the findings may not be generalizable across industries.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of capital structure, profitability, dividend policy, asset structure, and liquidity on stock prices of LQ45 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2019–2023. A quantitative approach was used, relying on secondary data obtained from the financial statements of selected companies through purposive sampling. The research sample consists of 18 companies, resulting in 89 observations after outlier adjustments. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, preceded by classical assumption tests. The results show that only capital structure has a significant effect on stock prices, while profitability, dividend policy, asset structure, and liquidity do not have a significant impact. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²) is 0.082, indicating that the independent variables in this model explain only 8.2% of the variation in stock prices, with the remaining 91.8% explained by other factors outside the model. This research is expected to contribute to the development of financial theory and serve as a reference for investment decision-making.

Abstract

A number of academics have focused their research on the effect of corporate governance on audit report lag. With varying levels of significance, the studies that havebeen conducted show mixed findings, both consistent and otherwise. The purpose of this study is to collect information from journals regarding corporate governance issuesthat affect audit report lag in Indonesia from 2009 to 2022. The research sample consisted of 23 documents, including journals and university students' theses, which were purposively selected. The researcher combined the journal research results withthe meta-analysis method. This study shows that the board of commissioners, independent commissioners, and audit committee significantly affect audit delay. Theaverage correlation value of less than 0.25 indicates that the correlation between the independent and dependent variables is relatively low. In addition, this study confirmed the agency theory in the period 2009-2022 for various business industries, includingbanking, manufacturing, and LQ45 index stocks.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of good corporate governance in influencing the relationship between family ownership, institutional ownership, and political connections with related party transactions (RPT). The research method uses a quantitative approach with secondary data. Samples using purposive sampling techniques were obtained from 36 mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2017-2022 period. From this sampling technique, after removing incomplete data and outliers, 211 observable data were obtained. Data analysis used moderated regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that good corporate governance is able to moderate the relationship between institutional ownership and political connections with RPT but is unable to moderate between family ownership and RPT. The practical implications of this study can be used as a consideration for the government to make regulations so that the implementation of good corporate governance is more effective in companies whose shares are majority owned by families
