Abstract

Utilization of VCT services in Male Sex Men at Padang Bulan Medan Public Health Center Pematangsiantar City is still relatively low (34.4%). The low utilization of VCT services in Male Sex Men is related to the perception of seriousness and the possibility of taking action. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceptions of seriousness and the possibility of taking action on the use of VCT services in Male Sex Men at Padang Bulan Medan Health Center Pematangsiantar City Year 2018. The type of this research is analytic research using cross sectional design. The population in this study is all MSM who utilize VCT service at Padang Bulan Medan Public Health Center Pematangsiantar City in the year 2017 that as many as 189 people and sample counted 61 people. Data were obtained by questionnaire and observation interviews, analyzed by Multiple Logistic Regression statistic test at α = 5%. The results showed that the perception of seriousness and the possibility of taking action had an effect on the utilization of VCT service to MSM in Puskesmas Padang Bulan Kota Medan and the most dominant variable influencing the use of VCT service on Male Sex Men at Padang Bulan Medan Public Health Center Pematangsiantar City was the possibility variable to take action with Exp B = 11,450 . It is suggested to health workers to increase the extension to the MSM on the use of VCT services so that MSM will come to utilize VCT services to Kota Pemassiya Kota Pemassiantar Health Office to further improve the implementation and socialization to LSL (Male Sex Man) in Pematangsiantar City about the importance of VCT service utilization and to LSL (Male Sex Men) in Padang Bulan Medan Health Center Pematangsiantar City should routinely make use of VCT services.

Abstract

The manual registration information system for incoming students is still commonly used by certain universities and colleges in Indonesia. However, the challenge lies in the fact that many potential students, especially those living outside urban areas, face difficulties with manual procedures and indeed many colleges still need a more efficient and effective information system to facilitate ownership of exam participant cards. The purpose of this study is to design a new student admissions website using PHP and MySQL to facilitate online registrants in ownership of exam participant cards. The methodology used in this study involves a system development research procedure, specifically focusing on creating a web-based system for new student admissions information that can be accessed via a web browser. The system for new student admissions information was developed using the PHP programming language and utilizing the MySQL database as a database server. The results of the design of this new student admissions website show that the newly implemented web-based student admissions system is able to offer convenience to prospective students in accessing broad information about the admissions process, as well as completing registration procedures, making online payments, and issuing exam participant cards. Hopefully this system will continue to be developed and can be applied in every college.

Abstract

Sexual behavior among teenagers in class VIII of Gajah Mada Middle School, Medan Selayang, many of them engage in sexual behavior. Sexual behavior in adolescent students of class VIII SMP Gajah Mada Medan Selayang is related to knowledge about reproductive health and the role of parents in sexual behavior. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between knowledge about reproductive health and the role of parents with sexual behavior among adolescent students in class VIII of SMP Medan Selayang in 2024. This type of research is descriptive analytical survey research with a research plan (cross sectional study). The population in this study were all teenagers in class VIII of SMP Gajah Mada Medan Selayang, totaling 50 students and a sample of 50 respondents. This data collection technique uses primary and secondary data. This data was analyzed using the chi square test with a knowledge level of 95%. The results of this research are that there is a relationship between knowledge about reproductive health and the role of parents and there is a relationship between sexual behavior in teenagers in class VIII of Gajah Mada Middle School Medan Selayang in 2024, that the more knowledge teenagers have can reduce sexual behavior in teenagers based on the results of the chisquare statistical test using The SPSS application obtained a p-value = 0.000, thus, p-value (0.000) <0.05. A meaningful conclusion can be stated that the knowledge and role of parents regarding sexual behavior has an influence on teenagers because teenagers who have good knowledge will make it easier for teenagers to get information about healthy sexual behavior.

Abstract

The success of providing exclusive breastfeeding in Jorlang Huluan Village, Pamatang Sidamanik District, Simalungun Regency is still low. The low level of exclusive breastfeeding in Jorlang Huluan Village is related to breastfeeding fathers and mothers' self-efficacy. This study aims to determine the influence of breastfeeding fathers and self-efficacy on the success of exclusive breastfeeding for mothers with babies in Jorlang Huluan. The type of research used is analytical survey research with a cross sectional design. The population in this study were all mothers who had babies 7-12 months in Jorlang Huluan Village, totaling 52 people and the research sample used total sampling. Data were collected using primary and secondary data and analyzed using the Multiple Logistic Regression chi statistical test with a confidence level of 95%. The results of the research show that there is an influence of breastfeeding fathers and self-efficacy on the success of exclusive breastfeeding in mothers who have babies 7-12 months in Jorlang Huluan Village. It is recommended that husbands of respondents in Jorlang Huluan Village seek information about Exclusive Breastfeeding and that health workers in Jorlang Huluan Village need to increase mothers' understanding of Exclusive Breastfeeding and increase family support in efforts to increase Exclusive Breastfeeding.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar mengenai Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS). Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya tingkat perilaku kebersihan dan pengetahuan kesehatan di MIS Miftahussalam. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup edukasi partisipatif, praktik berbasis simulasi, pembagian media edukasi (leaflet dan poster), serta pelatihan singkat untuk guru. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah observasi sebelum dan sesudah intervensi, wawancara dengan guru, serta refleksi kualitatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menyebutkan enam langkah mencuci tangan (dari 35% menjadi 90%), pemahaman tentang pentingnya sarapan (dari 42% menjadi 87%), dan keaktifan dalam kegiatan promotif kesehatan. Guru merasa lebih percaya diri menyisipkan materi kesehatan ke dalam pembelajaran tematik, sementara orang tua mulai terlibat dalam upaya promosi kesehatan dan kebersihan berbasis sekolah. Program ini berhasil menumbuhkan perubahan perilaku berkelanjutan pada siswa dan membentuk model kolaborasi sekolah-keluarga yang mendukung kesehatan anak. Model ini layak untuk direplikasi di lingkungan pendidikan serupa Kata Kunci : Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS); edukasi kesehatan; intervensi berbasis sekolah, partisipasi masyarakat.

Abstract

Satisfaction of patients hospitalized in Dr Pirngadi Medan  much experience dissatisfaction. Patient satisfaction is related to the quality of nursing care that assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. This study aims to determine the quality of nursing care to patient satisfaction in Dr Pirngadi Medan. This research is an analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The population is all inpatients in Dr Pirngadi Medan  on average per month amounted to 138 people. Sample of 102 people, the sampling technique by means of proportional random sampling. Data collected from interviews using questionnaires, analyzed by Multiple Logistic Regression at α = 5%. The results showed that the quality assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of influence on patient satisfaction in hospitals Dr Pirngadi Medan  and the most dominant variable influencing patient satisfaction in hospitals Dr Pirngadi Medan  is variable implementation, namely on the value of the coefficient regression exp (B) 19.978. It is suggested to RSUD Dr Pirngadi Medan , to pay attention to the nurses in the room to be more active in improving the quality of nursing care in the patient, for the nurse to study more detail about the problems that emerged so that the accurate nursing diagnosis can be made, the nursing plan that has been formulated can give Quality nursing care and comprehensive, should nurses should be able to document any nursing actions that have been implemented and is expected to improve the performance of nurses so as to improve nursing care in patients.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize environmental health education by strengthening literacy and language in Dusun V, Hulu Village, Pancur Batu District, Deli Serdang Regency. Conducted from July 15 to July 27, 2024, the study focuses on enhancing public understanding of waste management and environmental health. The methods employed include socializing the processing of organic waste, providing public facilities such as stacked bins and signs prohibiting improper waste disposal, and activating reading parks and literacy programs at PKK. Additional activities include organizing community service projects, sports events, and educational competitions for children. The results indicate that the program was successfully implemented, despite facing technical and coordination challenges. The community responded positively and showed enthusiasm for the initiatives. Challenges included limited expertise in some manufacturing processes and insufficient coordination with relevant stakeholders. Key supporting factors were community support and the facilities provided by residents. Recommendations include improving coordination, reactivating Karang Taruna, and developing MSMEs as part of future local economic empowerment efforts.

Abstract

Implementasi Code Blue di Ruang Rawat Inap RSU Mitra Sejati Medan masih ditemukan kedala. Kendala yang terjadi terkait dengan respon time dan Standar Prosedur Operasional (SPO). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh respon time dan Standar Prosedur Operasional (SPO) terhadap implementasi code blue system di Ruang Rawat Inap RSU Mitra Sejati Medan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian yang bersifat kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pendekatan fenomenologi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan team Code Blue di Ruang Rawat Inap RSU Mitra Sejati Medan dan sampel berjumlah 9 orang. Pengumpulan data dengan data primer dan sekunder dan dianalisis dengan tiga sub proses yang saling berkaitan yaitu data reduction, data display dan conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa respon time dan Standar Prosedur Operasional (SPO) berhubungan dengan implementasi Code Blue System di RS RSU Mitra Sejati Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh respon time yang tidak selalu tepat waktu disebabkan jarak ruangan yang terlalu jauh dan kesibukan di IGD/ICU dalam waktu yang bersamaan dengan kejadian aktivasi code blue. Dari Faktor Standar Prosedur Operasional (SPO) menunjukkan implementasi code blue tidak selalu terlaksana dengan baik sesuai SPO yang ada disebabkan kurangnya pemahaman petugas code blue tentang SPO yang seharusnya dijadikan standar acuan dalam implementasi code blue.

Abstract

Setiap tahun lebih dari 1,4 juta anak di dunia meninggal karena berbagai penyakit yangsebenarnya dapat dicegah dengan imunisasi. Cakupan imunisasi di Desa Tunggaljaya SumurPandeglang Tahun 2015 adalah 44,4%, angka tersebut masih sangat rendah karena belum mencapaitarget nasioanal imunisasi dasar lengkap 86,8%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis danmenjelaskan hubungan pengetahuan, dukungan keluarga dan faktor perancu dengan pemberianimunisasi dasar lengkap. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, desain cross sectional.Populasi penelitian semua ibu yang mempunyai bayi 9-36 bulan di Desa Tunggaljaya SumurPandeglang berjumlah 138 ibu. Data dianalisis secara univariat, bivariat dengan uji chi square danmultivariat dengan uji regresi logistik ganda. Hasil bayi imunisasi dasar lengkap 41,3%, ibupengetahuan tinggi 45,7%, dukungan keluarga yang mendukung 58%, umur responden dengan risikotinggi 21,7%, pendidikan lanjut 16,7%, ibu bekerja 40,6%, paritas banyak (>2 anak) 26,8%,pendapatan keluarga tinggi 40,6%, Peran tenaga kesehatan yang baik 95,7%, dan responden terpaparmedia 68,1%. Model akhir faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemberian imunisasi dasar lengkapdukungan keluarga p 0,000,OR 5,058, 95%CI 2,196-11.649; pengetahuan p 0,014, OR 2,636, 95%CI1,218-5,708; Media p 0,038,OR 2,500,95%CI 1,050-5,952; pekerjaan p 0,035,OR 0,414 ,95%CI0,182-0,958. Kesimpulan imunisasi dasar lengkap masih rendah dan faktor yang dominan dukungankeluarga yang berhubungan dengan pemberian imunisasi dasar lengkap pada bayi. Saran perlu peranmedia ditingkan agar dukungan keluarga, pengetahuan ibu meningkat sehingga cakupan imunisasidasar lengkap pada bayi meningkat.
