Abstract

This research was shown to describe teacher activity, to analyze activity, learning outcomes and environmental awareness characters in students, leaving the STEM-based Problem Based Learning and Course Review Horay models. The method used is qualitative and quantitative in the type of Class Action Research (CAR). The research subject were fourth grade students V. The results showed that teacher activity was carried out to reach 95 with the criteria “very good”, student activity was carried out to reach 93% percetase with the criteria “very active”, students' cognitive learning outcomes reach a percentage of 100% with the criteria “complate”, the assessment of environmental awareness characters reaches a percentage of 86% with the criteria “have cultured ” and psychomotor learning outcomes reach a percentage of 93% with the criteria “very good”. The results of the study showed an increase in student activity, student learning outcomes and environmental awareness character of elementary school students.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe increase of teacher professionalism through the development of wetland-based learning tools were aim of this training community service activity. The activity participants were consisted of 21 teachers of SD Tandipah, Regional of Banjar and other teachers with high interest in self-development activities. Zoom media, and lectures, discussions, questioning and answering forum and practice in making contextual wetland-based learning tools were used in this activity. The community service activities were carried out on 2-3 October 2021. The results generated from this activity was very good, indicated by the excess of total participants from the target, participants’ enthusiasm and very active session of questioning and answering during the activity also indicated how well this activity was. Internet network problems were found during the activity were in progress, many activity participants came from remote regency area with a lot of internet network interruptions.Keywords: contextual approach, learning tools, teacher professionalism, wetlands  ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan profesionalime guru melalui pelatihan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis lahan basah. peerta kegiatan terdiri dari 21 guru SD Tandipah Kab. Banjar dan guru-guru yang terarik dalam kegiatan pengembangan diri tersebut. Kegiatan  dilakuan menggunakan media zoom, dan metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab dan praktek pembuatan perangkat permbelajaran berbasis kontektual lahan basah. kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat dilakukan pada 2-3 Oktober 2021. Kegiatan dapat terlaksana dengan baik, hal ini ditandai dengan jumlah peserta yang melebihi targe, antusiasnya peserta dan aktifnya tanya awab selama kegiatan berlangsung. Kendala yang terjadi saat kgiatan berlangsung yaiu adanya kendala jaringan internet, peserta kegiatan banyk yang berasala dari daerah Kabupaten yang mana sering mengalami gangguan jaringan internet.Kata Kunci: profesionalisme guru, perangkat pembelajaran, pendekatan kontekstual, lahan basah

Abstract

This research was aimed at describing teacher activities, analyzing student activities, learning outcomes and describing the environmentally caring character of science content in fifth grade elementary school students using the integration of Problem Based Learning, Talking Stick and audio visual media learning models. Data collection in this research was carried out using the test method which was obtained through individual written tests to measure student learning outcomes and non-test methods obtained through observation of teacher activities and student activities. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in 2 cycles, where cycle I consists of 2 meetings and cycle II consists of 1 meeting. The subjects of this research were 17 grade V elementary school students in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The results of this research show that the percentage of student activity initially reached 39% with the criterion "Less Active" in the low category, in cycle II the average percentage of student activity obtained was 82% with the criterion "Very Active." Completeness of student learning outcomes, in the cognitive aspect, shows that in cycle I the percentage of 59% of students achieved completeness, in cycle II the percentage increased to 100%. Affective aspect (character that cares about the environment), in cycle I the percentage reached 53% with the criteria "Not yet visible" in the low category, in cycle II it increased to reach a percentage of 88% with the criterion "Starting to Develop and Become entrenched". The psychomotor aspect in cycle I reached 39% with the criteria "Not Good" in the low category, and in cycle II the percentage reached 82% with the criteria "Good and Very Good". The results of the research show that the implementation of the integration of the Problem Based Learning, Talking Stick and audio-visual media learning models can increase activity, student learning outcomes and the character of caring for the environment in grade V elementary school science content

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan aktivitas, penanaman karakter tanggung jawab, dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Metode pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Numbered Head Together terintegrasi dengan STEM diterapkan dalam dua siklus penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan aktivitas guru hingga nilai 60 ("sangat baik"), aktivitas siswa mencapai 92% aktif dan sangat aktif. Hasil belajar siswa aspek kognitif mencapai ketuntasan klasikal 100%, karakter tanggung jawab mencapai 88% ("sangat membudaya"), dan aspek psikomotorik mencapai 92% ("sangat baik"). Model pembelajaran ini dapat meningkatkan aktivitas, karakter tanggung jawab, hasil belajar, dan aspek psikomotorik siswa. metode ini dapat diadopsi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di tingkat kelas IV.

Abstract

Masalah yang diteliti adalah rendahnya tingkat aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penyebabnya berasal dari beberapa faktor yang telah diidentifikasi melalui observasi dan wawancara. Penelitian ini memiiki tujuan dalam meningkatkan aktivitas guru dan siswa, hasil belajar, serta karakter kayuh baimbai dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Snowball Throwing yang terintegrasi dengan peembelajaran STEM. Metode penelitian yang dipakai yakni penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian mengindikasi  aktivitas guru yang meningkat signifikan mencapai nilai rata-rata 95 pada kategori "sangat baik", serta tingkat partisipasi siswa yang mencapai 100% dalam kategori aktif dan sangat aktif. Hasil belajar siswa, khususnya pada aspek kognitif, juga menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dengan mencapai persentase ketuntasan klasikal dengan rata-rata 86,5% dan dinyatakan tuntas. Karakter Kayuh Baimbai terlaksana hingga persentase ketuntasan klasikal ketegori sudah membudaya dan mulai berkembang mencapai rata-rata 88,5% dengan kriteria “sudah membudaya”. Aspek psikomotorik presentasi ketuntasan klasikal ketegori “sangat baik dan baik” mencapai 86,5% dengan kriteria “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan perolehan data tersebut disimpulkan penelitian ini memiliki potensi dalam membuat partisipasi dan prestasi belajar siswa meningkat dan dinyatakan berhasil dan dapat menjadi inspirasi penelitian selanjutnya.
