Abstract

Persimpangan jalan tanpa pengaturan lalu lintas merupakan wilayah rawan kecelakaan. Pada jalan Prof. Hamka dan jalan Adinegoro yang merupakan lokasi penelitian terdapat beberapa persimpangan jalan sekaligus persilangan dengan jalur kereta api. Salah satu kelengkapan tambahan yang dipasang untuk meningkatkan kewaspadaan pengendara kendaraan bermotor menjelang persimpangan adalah pita penggaduh melintang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pemasangan pita penggaduh melintang pada jalan Prof. Hamka dan Adinegoro. Kecepatan sesaat kendaraan diukur dengan menggunakan speed gun. Kecepatan kendaraan diklasifikasikan berdasarkan jenis sepeda motor, kendaraan ringan dan kendaraan berat. Kecepatan sesaat diambil pada tiga titik pengamatan yaitu sebelum (titik pengamatan 1), saat (titik pengamatan 2) dan sesudah (titik pengamatan 3) melewati pita penggaduh melintang. Persentase selisih kecepatan rata-rata dan persentil kecepatan ke-85 sebelum dan setelah melewati pita penggaduh berkisar antara 30-47%. Hasil uji hipotesis untuk semua jenis kendaraan menunjukkan kecepatan rata-rata kendaraan sebelum dan saat melewati serta saat dan setelah melewati pita penggaduh mengalami penurunan yang signifikan. Pengecekan jarak henti minimum berdasarkan kecepatan rata-rata dan persentil kecepatan ke-85 setelah melewati pita penggaduh memenuhi standar jarak pandangan henti. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemasangan pita penggaduh melintang di jalan Prof. Hamka dan Adinegoro efektif meningkatkan kewaspadaan pengemudi sebelum memasuki persimpangan.

Abstract

AbstractBiopore Infiltration Hole (BIH) Composting is influenced by the compost raw material's type, composition, and size, the addition of additives and activators, soil texture, land use, and weather conditions. Composting performance can be improved if these factors can be optimized. This study aims to analyze the performance of BIH composting in terms of location, season, and additives. Composting is done by varying the location/season, type, and weight of additives. For locations/seasons, composting is carried out in protected areas representing the dry season and open areas representing the rainy season. Variations of additives consist of no additives, 100% sawdust, 100% rice husks, and a mixture of sawdust and rice husks with variations in the weight of additives of 1.5% and 3% of the weight of the compost raw material. The analysis was carried out on the maturity test, the quality of physical and macro elements, and the quantity of compost. The results showed that all variations of composting had met the quality standards of domestic organic waste compost according to SNI 19-7030-2004 to test the maturity and quality of compost. The addition of additives can speed up the composting time by 2-6 days and increase 7.15-35.71% the quantity of solid compost. Composting with the addition of 100% rice husk additives at 1.5% of the weight of the compost raw material and carried out in protected locations (dry season) is the most optimal BIH composting.Keywords: additives, composting, Biopori Infiltration Holes (BIH), location, season

Abstract

The increasing demand for paper products over time has led to a corresponding increase in the amount of paper waste generated. Andalas University Campus endorses the recycling concept through the establishment of an Integrated Waste Management Center (PPST), which encompasses the Andalas Enviro Waste Bank (BSEA). This center is designed to oversee the management of dry waste that is suitable for sale, with the proceeds from such sales being directed to third parties. This study examines the optimization of paper waste utilization at the Andalas University Campus in Limau Manis, Padang. The study referenced data on the generation, composition, and recycling potential of paper waste from the Unand campus, as well as existing conditions of paper waste management at each source, obtained through the distribution of questionnaires and interviews. The results of the calculations demonstrate that the quantity of paper waste suitable for sale on the Unand campus is 779.82 kg/day. The BSEA is responsible for the collection of this waste through the waste bank system. The study was conducted by creating three scenarios for the management of paper waste: (I) direct sales of paper waste without processing; (II) processing of cardboard waste into egg containers and other types of paper waste into recycled paper; and (III) processing of HVS paper waste and selling other paper waste. The results of the assessment, conducted using incremental IRR analysis and scoring methods, indicated that scenario III was the optimal management scenario for optimizing the utilization of marketable paper waste at the Andalas University Limau Manis Campus from a technical and financial perspective.

Abstract

Simpang Anduring merupakansimpang tiga lengan yang menghubungkan jalan Dr. Moh. Hatta-Jalan Andalas-Jalan M. Yunus. Pengaturan Simpang Anduring tanpa Alat Pemberi Isyarat Lalu Lintas (APILL), sehingga kendaraan yang bertukar arah akan menyebabkan terjadinya konflik. Walaupun konflik yang terjadi tergolong tidak serius tetapi kemacetan yang sering terjadi perlu mendapatkan penanganan Rekayasa Lalu Lintas. Tindakan yang dilakukan adalah memasang pembatas jalan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menentukan pengaruh pemasangan pembatas jalan ditinjau dari volume dan kecepatan kendaraan di persimpangan, serta mengetahui persentase penggunaan putaran balik sebagai dampak dipasangnya pembatas jalan. Data lalu lintas berupa volume dan kecepatan kendaraan dikumpulkan melalui video udara (drone). Uji hipotesis rata-rata dua populasi dilakukan untuk menentukan pengaruh pemasangan pembatas jalan. Pemasangan pembatas jalan berpengaruh pada volume lalu lintas secara signifikan pada α=0,05 untuk pergerakan lalu lintas jalan Andalas menuju jalan M. Yunus dan jalan Andalas menuju jalan Moh. Hatta.Pemasangan pembatas jalan berpengaruh secara signifikan pada α=0,05 untuk kecepatan rerata arah dari jalan Moh. Hatta ke jalan Andalas dan dari jalan M. Yunus ke jalan Moh. Hatta pada pagi hari, sedangkan pada waktu sore hari, tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan. Hal ini disebabkan tingginya hambatan samping pada waktu tersebut.

PT Karakatau Steel is the which manufacture iron steel factory in Cilegon, Banten, Indonesia. That said Pujawan supply chain is the network of the which companies are working to create and deliver togerther the product into end customer. Production activity in PT Krakatau Steel include raw steel, producing and selling work-in-process steel, finished steel products and steel billet Including, HRC and CRC, steel wire bar, and also steel-concrete, profile steel, and steel pipe.In finished steel products, steel production company Could match with specification and customer needs. PT Karaktau steel sales have activity in the domestic market and export market by using porduction system make-to-stock. To control product quality of product produced, well relatioionship keep company with raw material suppliers, and also the make an impact on production controling cost.Supplier selection procedure uses the tender mechanism, chosen supplier is the best supplier That consistency ratio have high level of priority and wight . Company built product storage in easy access places to maintain product delivery Fluency by choosing train as land transportation unit and ship as sea transport unit.
