Abstract

Peningkatan produksi jagung di kabupaten Luwu Timur mengalami peningkatan dan dibarengi dengan perluasan lahan sebesar 13.584 Ha. Para petani dihadapkan pada persoalan bagaimana memipil hasil panennya, terutama petani yang kurang mampu karena mereka tidak memiliki mesin pemipil jagung. Tujuan dari rancang bangun mesin pemipil jagung ini adalah untuk mendapatkan mesin pemipil jagung yang dapat meringankan para petani dalam memipil hasil panennya. Metode perancangan dan pembuatan mesin pemipil jangung ini meliputi identifikasi lapangan, studi pustaka dan disain. Mesin ini memiliki dimensi 1400 x 600 x 1400 menggunakan penggerak motor bakar dengan sistem transmisi pulley dan v-belt. Pulley 1 (80 mm), pulley 2 (160 mm) dan v-belt panjang 1180,99 mm, jumlah mata pemipil 28 buah dan di lengkapi dengan kipas sebagai alat bantu pemisah antara biji jagung dengan ampasnya, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan putar mesin berpengaruh kepada hasil pemipilan jagung. Pada pengujian dengan putaran 1900 rpm dapat memipil jagung 4 kg selama 0,40 menit dan menghasilkan 2,9 kg.

Abstract

Dewasa ini Industri dituntut untuk mampu menerapkan teknologi digital dalam menjalankan setiap kegiatan operasionalnya. Penggunaan mesin-mesin konvensional berangsur-angsur dikurangi dengan mengganti menggunakan mesin otomatis, ini dilakukan agar industri tetap bertahan di era digital seperti sekarang ini dan dimasa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah mesin berbasis digital dalam bentuk prototype yaitu sebuah mesin pengangkat barang yang umum disebut forklift. Jenis forklift yang rancang-bangun dengan sistim kendali jarak jauh ini adalah forklift electrik yang menggunakan battrey sebagai sumber penggerak. Untuk menyelesaikan penelitian ini maka dilakukan proses-proses yang dibagi dalam enam tahap yaitu: Menyiapkan bahan dan material, pembuatan gambar rancangan, proses manufaktur, perakitan (assembling), pemasangan motor-motor penggerak, dan uji coba mesin. Dari hasil pengujian yang dilakukan forklift dapat bekerja dengan baik dengan 3 model gerakan yaitu gerakan gerak forklift (maju, mundur, belok kiri dan belok kanan), gerak penukik fork dan gerak mengangkat

Abstract

The learning process for vocational higher education applies a composition of 30 percent theory and 70 percent practice. A larger composition of practical learning will guarantee an increase in the quality of students' expertise, because in practical learning students practice in workshops that produce workpieces in the form of products that have economic value. Workpieces are made by manufacturing processes using industrial-based machines such as lathes, milling machines, drills, grinders, and others. Practical work in the workshop is carried out for one week or the equivalent of 38 hours. The quality of the workpiece is also a parameter for student assessment which will become one of the semester graduation requirements so as to produce quality students in their fields. However, there are problems in practicum activities in the vocational field that are most experienced by almost all vocational education institutions, namely workpiece waste. Vaccination education managers must think about how to optimize or utilize work objects resulting from student practice. Not a few students' work is ignored or thrown away and not utilized. This is the background of this research. This study aims to make mechanical device products that have economic value by utilizing students' work. The product manufacturing method begins with data collection, planning and drawing, the manufacturing process, assembling, and testing. From the results of the tool making, 4 types of prototype products were obtained, namely table vise, bending tools, C clamps, mini press tools. From the four products made, it can be concluded that the tool manufacturing process went according to plan and optimal results were obtained.

Abstract

Library visitor data is one of the indicators for assessing the success of managing a library. The library manager must ensure that every visitor data is recorded properly, so that the information obtained from processing the data can be used as a basis for continuous improvement, therefore for this activity to run well, an accurate, effective and efficient visitor recording system is needed. This research was conducted to provide solutions related to the above problems by building a library visitor recording system with biometric identification using fingerprints. The method used in this study is an experimental method by designing, manufacturing and testing tools. This system is equipped with the use of sliding doors as security which will open if library visitors have gone through the fingerprint identification process. Testing is carried out in three parts, the first test is on the application, database, and connection to the fingerprint module. The second test is on the connection between the fingerprint and the driving motor and the third test is on the Arduino connection with sliding door movement and limit switch performance. The test results go well and the system can work to record automatically, open and close doors according to the settings that have been made.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to create an e-diagnostic test application that will help identify students' misconceptions and assess the usefulness of the e-diagnostic test being employed. Based on the use of the e-diagnostic test, this study also attempts to define the profile of students' misconceptions. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D). Tests, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation are the techniques employed. Students are the research participants. An online-based Android test system is the created e-diagnostic application. Work standards, a teacher and student login system, question checking, and question modifying features are all included in the system. With a score of 91.67% and an overall response rate of 80.57%, the validator's validation results demonstrate the high viability of the e-diagnostic test application. 51.32% of students have misconceptions, according to the diagnostic results. The concepts of frequency and centripetal acceleration are both widely misunderstood, with frequency misconceptions ranking highest and lowest respectively.

Abstract

Plastik dapat diolah dengan metode daur ulang untuk dimanfaatkan kembali, bahkan kebutuhan plastik di Indonesia terus meningkat hingga mengalami kenaikan rata-rata 200 ton per tahun. Untuk mempermudah proses daur ulang sampah, beberapa langka dilakukan yaitu penyortiran, pencacahan, pencucian, pengeringan, dan pengepakan. Proses pengepakan sampah plastik mengalami kendala apabila dilakukan secara manual karena memutuhkan tempat dan wadah yang besar. Perlu dibuatkan mekanisme pengepresan yang optimal untuk menekan volume sampah sehingga memudahkan dalam pengepakan. Solusi terbaik saat ini yang dilakukan adalah dengan membuat mesin pengepress sampah yang murah, mudah, dan aman digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang mesin pengepress sampah khususnya sampah botol plastik bekas kemasan minuman. Sistim kendali dirancang dengan menggunakan perangkat arduino, driver motor, sensor arus, dan relay. Untuk sistim penggerak mesin menggunakan Motor DC yang dihunbungkan dengan power supply 12V. Tuas pengepres dikombinasikan dengan poros berulir yang dihubungkan dengan motor DC untuk proses penekan sampah. Pada pengujian mesin didapatkan hasil pengepresan sampah botol plastik yang cukup baik dimana volume sampah yang di press dapat mencapai 56%.

Abstract

This study looks into how novel mechanical engineering solutions for electric bus technology in Jakarta could change the industry, with an emphasis on improving sustainability, efficiency, and performance. Quantitative data was gathered through technical inspections, stakeholder questionnaires, and real-time monitoring. According to the results, buses with regenerative braking systems, lightweight construction, and cutting-edge drivetrain technologies consume 15% less energy. A comparative investigation revealed a 12% boost in overall speed and responsiveness and a 20% improvement in braking efficiency. The environmental benefits were highlighted by the environmental impact evaluations, which showed a notable 25% reduction in particulate matter and emissions. Positive responses to surveys conducted among passengers and bus operators demonstrated the practical viability and user pleasure of these advances. Although they recognized the potential, city officials stressed the need for a thorough and gradual implementation strategy. According to the research, creative mechanical engineering solutions might completely transform Jakarta's urban transportation system and serve as a template for effective and sustainable mobility.

Abstract

Life in the nation and state requires constant discussion about the breadth of a scientific study of national insight in Indonesia. The principles of Pancasila serve as a link to foster national consciousness. With globalization, Indonesia's state ideology and Pancasila as the nation's way of life are losing their value and being replaced by foreign cultures. This article discusses how the benefits of social science learning to increase nationalistic insight in elementary school students. The focus of the research is the practical implementation of social science lessons in expanding the nationalistic insight of an elementary school student. The purpose of this research is to measure how well various educational approaches can improve students' understanding of progress. The research shows that teachers can implement nationalistic insights sourced from social science subjects through two approaches with Contextual Teaching Model (CTL) learning methods and also practical methods such as Indonesian history art performances, Indonesian history exhibitions and others. Effective learning can improve students' understanding of the development of Indonesian independence and strengthen students' nationalism.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect on the value of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from the aspect of disclosure of enterprise risk management and disclosure of intellectual capital. The variables that are the focus of this study are the disclosure of enterprise risk management (X1) and intellectual capital disclosure (X2), which are measured using the enterprise risk management disclosure index and intellectual capital disclosure index. Meanwhile, firm value (Y), which is measured using Tobin's Q, acts as the dependent variable in this analysis. The sample of this study was selected through purposive sampling technique, so that there were 32 mining companies that became the sample of the study. The data used in this study were obtained through data collection techniques in the form of documentation. Then, this data is analyzed using data analysis techniques which include classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression tests, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that individually, the disclosure of enterprise risk management practices has a negative impact on firm value, while the disclosure of intellectual capital has a positive impact on the value of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2022. Together, the disclosure of enterprise risk management practices and the disclosure of intellectual capital have a positive impact on the value of the same company in the same year.
