Hiperurisemia adalah peningkatan kadar asam urat darah di atas normal yang merupakan faktor resiko penyakit gout. Allopurinol digunakan untuk terapi hiperurisemia, namun masyarakat Indonesia menyukai herbak sebagai alternatif terapi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui aktivitas penghambatan xantin oksidase secara in silico dan in vitro pada tanaman herba tapak liman (Elephantopus scaber Linn), biji jintan hitam (Nigella sativa Linn) dan daun talok (Muntingia calabura Linn). Pada pengujian secara in silico, 70 senyawa bioaktif yang berasal dari herba tapak liman, biji jintan hitam dan daun talok diujikan sebagai ligan dan divisualisasikan interaksinya terhadap reseptor pada enzim yang berperan sebagai antihiperurisemia dengan metode Structure based ligand Dari hasil docking diperoleh 15 senyawa uji yang dapat menghambat enzim xantin oksidase kerena memperoleh score docking lebih kecil dari kontrol positif. Kemudian dilakukan penelitian secara in vitro untuk mengetahui aktivitas penghambatan xantin oksidase oleh ekstrak etanol 70% herba tapak liman, biji jintan hitan, dan daun talok, hasil menunjukkan adanya aktivitas penghambatan xantin oksidase masing-masing sebesar 41,08%; 34.92%; dan 31,57%. Tanaman herba tapak liman (Elephantopus scaber Linn), biji jintan hitam (Nigella sativa Linn) dan daun talok (Muntingia calabura Linn) mengandung senyawa yang memiliki aktivitas sebagai penghambat xantin oksidase pada hiperurisemia.

Demam merupakan keadaan dimana terjadi peningkatan pada suhu tubuh yang terjadi di atas keadaan normal, hal tersebut terjadi karena adanya peningkatan regulasi pada set point. Demam ditandai adanya kenaikan suhu pada tubuh. Dalam mengatasi demam, pengobatan yang dilakukan yaitu pemberian obat-obatan antipiretik seperti paracetamol atau ibuprofen. Oleorisin yang merupakan minyak atsiri pada biji pala memiliki potensi sebagai antipiretik. Pengujian efektivitas antipiretik oleorisin dilakukan pada hewan coba mencit jantan putih. Hewan coba yang telah diinduksi vaksin DPT-Hb diberikan Ekstrak biji pala dengan dosis 40 mg/Kg BB, 60 mg/Kg BB, dan 80 mg/Kg BB. Pemberian ekstrak pada dosis 80 mg/Kg BB merupakan dosis terbaik yang memberikan efek antipiretik terhadap hewan coba. Adapun waktu yang optimal dalam menurunankan suhu tubuh dari ekstrak biji pala yaitu pada menit ke-120. Terdapat interaksi dari pengaruh lamanya pemberian pada perlakuan dosis 3 (80 mg/KgBB) dan waktu menit ke-120 terhadap efek antipiretik pada penurunan suhu dengan nilai <0,05.

Phyllanthus niruri L. has many benefits because it is known that meniran leaves contain secondary metabolites in the form of alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins and phenolics. The content of phenol compounds which are constituent compounds for antioxidant activity. This research was conducted to determine the combination of Natural Deep Eutectic Solvents (NADES) which can produce extracts with strong antioxidant activity. The preliminary stage determines the best combination of NADES with choline chloride as the Hydrogen Bond Acceptor and the type of sugar as the Hydrogen Bond Donor. The NADES screening obtained the best combination of choline chloride: glycerol, then the optimization stage was carried out using the RSM method with a Central Composite Design. Three variables used were temperature (25°, 40°, 60°C), time (10, 30, 60 minutes) and the ratio of NADES usage (50%, 70% and 90%). Antioxidant activity was determined with the value of in Meniran extract with positive control of vitamin C. The best NADES combination was choline chloride–glycerol (1:1) with an value of 18.039 ppm. Optimization with variations in temperature time and ratio variables obtained optimal conditions at temperature of 60°C with an extraction time of 44 minutes and ratio of 90% NADES obtained values of 8.040 ppm and positive control of vitamin C obtained values of 4.307 ppm. The best results for antioxidant activity are at a temperature of 60°C gives an value of 8.050 ppm was obtained and the average is 8.075 ppm.

Good fetal growth and development from the mother's womb can give birth to a generation that is healthy, intelligent, and of good character. Good fetal growth is influenced by several factors, namely: Good eating habits, hormonal factors and the environment around the fetus. One way to maximize the process of fetal growth in the womb is that the mother must play an active role in making efforts so that the baby grows actively when born later. one of them is to take advantage of fetal stimulation in the womb with a music sound player system for the fetus. Based on the 2023 questionnaire, there is a request from the community for the community service team to hold socialization and training on healthy heart and fetal development using the research results of the Lecturer which can be implemented in the 2024 community service program to implement the Fetal Music Instrumental Tool to Help Fetal Growth in the Womb of Pregnant Women at Posyandu Kemuning 1A Sukamakmur Village, Ciomas. This community service implements IKU 2, namely students gaining experience outside campus and IKU 3 where lecturers carry out activities outside campus and IKU 5, namely the work of lecturers is used by the community. In addition, this activity produces HAKI products, videos of activities, articles in various electronic media, and publications in community service journals.

Atherosclerosis, a leading cause of cardiovascular disease, is closely related to dyslipidemia. This study evaluated the cardioprotective effects of red ginger (Zingiber officinale var. rubrum) extracted using a Natural Deep Eutectic Solvent (NADES) on lipid profiles and the risk of atherosclerosis in rats induced with an atherogenic diet and lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Thirty male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into five groups: normal control, negative control, positive control (Simvastatin), and two treatment groups receiving red ginger extract at 25 mg/kg and 50 mg/kg body weight (BW). After 24 days of treatment, the 25 mg/kg BW dose significantly reduced total and LDL cholesterol while increasing HDL levels compared with the negative control (p < 0.05), showing comparable effects to Simvastatin. The 50 mg/kg BW dose did not significantly reduce total and LDL cholesterol but produced the highest HDL level. All treatment groups showed a significantly lower Atherogenic Index of Plasma (AIP) than the negative control, with the lowest AIP in the 50 mg/kg BW group. These findings demonstrate the cardioprotective potential of red ginger extracted with NADES as a natural, environmentally friendly approach to preventing dyslipidemia and atherosclerosis.

Health is a very valuable factor in life. One way to improve health or immunity is by consuming herbal drinks. Herbal drinks are believed to have beneficial properties for healing disease. Livelihoods in Pagelaran Village are dominated by laborers, farmers, traders and domestic workers, with educational levels dominated by junior high and high school levels. The problems found in Pagelaran Village are public health problems, so it is necessary to improve welfare, one of which is by consuming healty drinks made from herbal plants. Red ginger is widely used to treat various diseases such as colds, digestive disorders, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and also analgesic. Compounds of lemongrass that have a good prospects for increasing immune system activity are usually flavonoids, curcumin, limonoids, vitamin C, vitamin E (tocopherol) and catechins. Lemons also contain quercetin which can increase the body's immunity. This PKM activitiy was carried out in Agroeduwisata Lembah Watu, Pagelaran Village, Bogor Regency, took the form of training in making herbal drinks to increase body’s immunity for women of PKK and KWT. The implementation of this PKM activity can increase the knowledge of utilizing, processing and packaging herbal plants into herbal drink products. This PKM activity, it is hoped that people will be able to make and consume health drinks which can be used to increase the body’s immunity so that the quality of life can improves too.

Cosmetics are beauty products intended for use on the skin, hair, nails, lips, external genital organs, teeth, and oral mucosa. Knowledge about choosing the right cosmetics is necessary because many people make mistakes in determining the type of cosmetics to use, the types of ingredients used, and cosmetic rules. One step to increase awareness of safe ingredients and the use of cosmetics is to provide education through the university's education, research, and community service activities, namely Community Service. especially among teenagers. This activity aims to provide outreach on how to choose safe and appropriate cosmetics for teenagers and provide education on how to report side effects from using cosmetics to BPOM. In community service activities, the method used is to provide material using a lecture method, followed by discussion and questions and answers. Questions asked for pre and post-test are the same, namely the definition of cosmetics, the purpose of using cosmetics, how to store cosmetics, how to use cosmetics safely, how to choose to buy cosmetics from the marketplace, Knowing Dangerous Cosmetic Ingredients, Seeing Cosmetic ED, How to Store Cosmetics and regarding if you experience irritation/ side effects from cosmetic preparations, then the last order that was carried out after providing the material was that residents' knowledge increased when they filled out the same questionnaire again and was quite different compared to before. Like Knowledge of the meaning of cosmetics education who knew the meaning of cosmetics was 10 people or 45.4% after education increased to 19 people or 86.4% and for other questions there was an increase after providing the material. It can be said that the Community Service Activities that have been carried out can broaden the knowledge of teenagers.
