Abstract

Determining the best level of aggregation in a centralized supply chain is one of the most difficult problems because of the conflicting objectives and demand uncertainty. PT. Nampar Nos is one of leading drinking water company with various range market in some regions in Flores, even in some islands in East of Nusa Tenggara. It’s width service area and demand uncertainty. Causes the company has a good decision to decide where the warehouse should be located, and how much the optimal number of warehouses to satisfy the demand. This research uses bi-criteria model to determine the best distribution network between Warehouse and Demand Region. There are two steps in data process-ing that will be done. The first step is to determine the cost that relation with the old distri-bution network in Flores use Gaur and Ravindran model and the second step is to de-velop the new alternative use trial and error method and then calculate the total cost and also responsiveness. After the solver output, we get the best one configuration from 2 alternative configuration distribution network that is developed. Alternative 1 is the best configuration network amount warehouse and demand region which is yield in decreasing total cost per month about Rp 49.996.000 or 11% from level Rp 417.280.400 to Rp 367.284.400. And also decreasing product miles about 7.500 or 5% from 153.500 become 146.000.

Abstract

Madukismo is one of the companies operating in the area of agroindustry with sugar as the main product. In order to exist, the company needs to increase the work effectiveness and efficiency in using the production machines through the planning of maintenance scheduling in order that the machines or units that are going to be used can be operated well, and work properly.The aim of this research is to analyze level requirement of amount of spare-part optimal with Sparepart requirement nomograph approach. This effort is able to increase high production quality, availability and reliability by maximizing equipments age, and also exploiting of effective maintenance. Based on the research result shows that the maintenance of chain eye component, it should be differentiated, basically, on the maintenance time. Determination of feed amounts at "t" periods with level of protection equal to 95% depict amount of requirement of accesses for chain component that availed counted 30 units.

Abstract

PT. Jaya Pulau Bintan, Bangka is a company that produces rubber in the form of semi-finished materials. Companies experiencing difficulties in meeting consumer demand is continuous, because the rubber product manufacturing process is very complicated and time consuming. The research method used in addressing the problems the company is the method of scheduling a flow shop with the approach of theory of constraint in repetitive manufacturing systems make to order. The result of data processing by using 2 production scheduling system, namely FCFS scheduling with makespan yield of 18.96 days. While the TOC scheduling with makespan obtained by 16.02 days in order to obtain savings of 2.94 days. Scheduling production with the TOC proposed because it has a greater throughput and successfully utilize the resources constraints, especially at work stations more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Simply production system can be described as a relation usher the input element, process and input. The element have to be supported with the feed back to control the system produce that to be able to improve the continuous repair. PT. Barata Indonesia in the early year 2003 was doing program to improve of output by performing variously repair of the task department. From the repair result will be was done by a measurement with to compare with the production process previous period. In this research, the method used is function produce of the Cobb-Douglas by using of software SPSS analysis. From data processing result, got an equation of linear regression which have transformed into function produce the following Cobb Douglas: For the year of 2002 equation is Q = 90,92.I10,75.I40,53 and for the year of 2003 Q = 79,04.I10,66.I40,39. Based of the result analyze by using the function produce the Cobb-Douglas have given is Return to scale ( RTS) with the value 1,28 for the year of 2002 and 1,05 for the year of 2003. Because value RTS > 1 so this matter is inferential that production process of two period known of the Increasing to Scale, meaning that proportion of factors of production, such as input will be increase the production the larger ones. While for the calculation of elasticity given the following value: Year 2002 raw material elasticity = 0,75%, meaning each every addition 1% raw material by use of constant machine man hours, product become will increase 0,75%, for the elasticity of use of machine man hours = 0,53% meaning each every accretion 1% machine man hours by use constant raw material, will increase the product addition become equal to 0,53%. Year 2003 raw material elasticity = 0,66%, meaning each every addition 1% raw material by use of constant machine man hours, product become will increase 0,66%, for the elasticity of use of machine man hours = 0,39% meaning each every accretion 1% machine man hours by use constant raw material, will increase the product addition become equal to 0,39%.

Abstract

Persediaan adalah salah satu kekayaan yang terdapat dalam perusahaan. Persediaan memberikan peran penting bagi perusahaan, karena peran yang sangat penting, persediaan harus direncanakan dan dikendalikan dengan baik. Pengendalian persediaan mengupayakan ketersediaan bahan baku agar tidak kekurangan, dan tidak berlebih. Klasifikasi ABC adalah metode yang digunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan barang berdasarkan peringkat dari nilai persentase kumulatif penyerapan dana dan persentase kumulatif pemakaian bahan baku, yang kemudian diurutkan dari nilai yang tertinggi hingga nilai yang terendah, dan terbagi menjadi kelompok A, B, dan C. Untuk melakukan pengendalian persediaan dilakukan menggunakan Metode Min-Max Stock, agar ketersediaan bahan baku dapat optimal. Hasil dari klasifikasi ABC dengan persentase kumulatif serapan modal dan dengan persentase pemakaian bahan baku, pihak pabrik harus fokus dalam memperhatikan penanganan ketersediaan bahan baku agar tidak terjadi penumpukan yang dapat menimbulkan kerusakan dan tetap terjaga ketersediaannya. Penanganan yang tepat agar bahan baku tidak mengalami kerusakan akibat penumpukan dan agar tidak terjadi kehabisan bahan baku, pada metode Min-Max Stock memperhitungkan jumlah safety stock bahan baku yang harus ada dalam penyimpanan agar proses produksi dapat berjalan dengan lancar apabila terjadi penambahan kebutuhan bahan baku atau terjadi keterlambatan kedatangan bahan baku. Selain itu agar tidak terjadi penumpukan bahan baku dalam penyimpanan.

Abstract

PT. Anindya Mitra Internasional (AMI) merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di sektor transportasi umum diDaerah Yogyakarta. Unit pelayanan di berbagai wilayah Yogyakarta dengan 11 route jalur dengan jumlah 68 armadabus Trans Jogja, dua jenis merk Hino FB130 dan Izuzu NQR71. Kajian ini membahas alternatif tentang membandingkanantara komponen elektrikal dan mekanikal untuk perhitungan biaya yang optimal dari kebijakan perawatanmenggunakan metode Preventive Maintenance Policy dan Repair Policy. Objek pada artikel ini membahas dua armadabus Trans Jogja merk Hino FB130 nomer lambung 107 dan Izuzu NQR71 nomer lambung 48 dengan jalur yang sama,jalur 10. Pada kajian ini data kerusakan untuk masing-masing komponen yang digunakan periode September 2019 –Agustus 2020. Hasil kajian meliputi perhitungan Total Maintenance Cost (TMC) biaya yang optimal untuk klasifikasikomponen elektrikal adalah Bus Trans Jogja merek Izuzu NQR71 no 48 yaitu Rp 505.745 per bulan. Perawatandilakukan setiap 6 bulan. Klasifikasi komponen mekanikal adalah Bus Izuzu NQR71 no 48 yaitu Rp 1.752.140 per bulan. Perawatan dilakukan setiap 12 bulan. Berdasarkan perhitungan dan pengolahan data dapat disimpulkan dalam kebijakan perawatan menerapkan metode repair policy untuk Bus Hino FB130 no107 dan Bus Izuzu NQR71 no 48 menerapkan preventive maintenance policy.

Abstract

Cattle Breeders Group Kandang Sedyo Makmur in Dukuh Ngemplak, Desa Umbul Martani, Kecamatan Ngemplak Kabupaten Sleman, raising 250 cattle with 10 tons / day feed requirement, and dan Cattle Breeders Group Catur Andini in Dukuh Wonocatur, Desa Banguntapan Kabupaten Bantul, raising 80 cows with 3.2 tons / day feed requirement. Problems that exist in these two groups of cattle ranchers is during the rainy season grass needs can be met and excessive amount of grass supplies, while during the dry season grass supplies are still less consequent needs of the grass can not be fulfilled.Based on the above, it is necessary to engineer the grass chopper machine to optimize the animal feed which during the rainy season is abundant to be cut, processed and stored and can be used for animal feed needs during the dry season. This machine is also able to cut corn stems and stems of sugar cane crops so that it can be used as animal feed, especially to increase the supply of animal feed in the dry season so that the needs of animal feed can be met. Because based on the facts on the ground, cutting corn stalks of corn and sugarcane are quite hard, can not be done manually with a cutting tool like a sickle. The working principle of grass chopper machine is corn stalk, stalk of sugar cane and straw and elephant grass inserted at entrance at tool, then cutting tool rotate and directly cut the stem of plant that has been entered, so happened cutting process, then result of cutting out through the exit of the machine that has been prepared bagor bag so that pieces can go directly into the bag so it is not scattered. This activity can be realized because of obtaining grant for Science and Technology for Society financed by Kemenristek Dikti. Based on the results of grass cutter machine testing, it was able to cut the grass elephant, corn stalks and sugar cane as much as 10 kg / menit or 600 kg / hour with homogeneous pieces and small size, whereas if done manually using human labor with tools cut the sickle, it was only able to cut as much as 1kg / minute with the cutout results are not homogeneous. By making grass chopper machine,sugarcane stalk and corn stalk, it can reduce the need for labor so that operational costs can be reduced and the income of the cattle breeder group can increase.

Abstract

Perkembangan industri manufaktur di Indonesia sangat pesat sehingga perusahaan-perusahaan yang bergerak di sektor manufaktur, harus bersaing dengan sengit guna memenangkan persaingan. Persaingan yang sengit harus didukung dengan penjaminan kualitas sehingga pengendalian kualitas yang baik perlu diterapkan. PT. Barata Indonesia Tegal sebagai perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pabrikasi baja untuk keperluan irigasi, seperti pipa penstock dan pintu air. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Six Sigma untuk mengukur tingkat kapabilitas proses, Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) dan Yield untuk menghitung perkiraan biaya yang dikeluarkan karena adanya produk cacat dan produk bebas cacat, Seven Tools sebagai alat analisis kecacatan untuk produksi pipa penstock pada Proyek Titab dan Proyek Rotiklot, serta pendekatan 4M+IE digunakan untuk memberikan usulan perbaikan pada sistem informasi yang diterapkan di perusahaan. Berdasarkan penelitian dengan metode Six Sigma didapat nilai sigma Proyek Titab sebesar 3,64 σ dan nilai sigma Proyek Rotiklot sebesar 3,70 σ yang menunjukkan tingkat kapabilitas proses produksi masuk dalam kategori rata-rata dunia industri. Perhitungan nilai yield atau produk yang bebas cacat pipa penstock Proyek Titab mencapai 97,197% (COPQ 30,4%) dan nilai yield Proyek Rotiklot 97,561% (COPQ 29,5%). Usulan perbaikan sistem informasi yang diberikan pada perusahaan adalah dengan memberikan rancangan sistem informasi terintegrasi yang menghubungkan seluruh departemen yang berkontribusi dalam proses produksi di perusahaan.Kata kunci: COPQ, pipa penstock, six sigma, seven tools, yield

Abstract

  PT Hari Mukti Teknik is a company engaged in the Manufacturing Industry that produces laundry machines and other mechanical engineering. The problem that occurs in the production process at PT Hari Mukti Teknik is the performance of the bending machine which has a high downtime value of an average of 994 minutes per month. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the performance of the bending machine by knowing the level of effectiveness of the performance of the bending machine using the OEE method, knowing the causes of losses that affect the level of effectiveness of machine performance, using the six big losses method and analyzing losses using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)  methods to propose improvement efforts. Based on the results of data processing, the average Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value of bending machines in one year is 84.21%, with the largest losses being equipment failure losses of 7.34%. Proposed improvements based on FMEA and FTA analysis are to carry out periodic maintenance, make a predictive maintenance list, carry out periodic re-checks, carry out periodic lubrication, check environmental cleanliness, and replace damaged components.

Abstract

The results obtained from the RCS worksheet show that there is 1 unit of high critical category component, 10 units of medium critical category component and 4 units of low critical category component. Calculation of component requirements for the next 12 months using the Poisson process obtained the total requirement for 4 months of critical component spare parts to be able to meet 95% availability of v-belt mixers is 7 units (12 months = 21 units), hydraulic rubber requires 4 units (12 months=12 units), and vibrating v-belt system requires 2 units (12 months = 6 units). Order size and costs incurred for 4 months for 7 units of v-belt mixer component spare parts of IDR 569,500 (12 months = IDR 1,708,500), 4 units of hydraulic rubber components IDR 653,800 (12 months = IDR 1,961,400) and a v-belt system component of 2 units of IDR 103,300 (12 months = IDR 309,900). The total inventory cost for the 12 months that the company has to pay for the three critical component spare parts is IDR 3,979,800.
