Abstract

Preeclampsia were still a threatening problem in pregnancy, especially in developing countries. In Indonesia, preeclampsia were a high cause of maternal mortality in addition to bleeding and infection. Preeclampsia could cause problems for both the fetus and the mother. The conditions of preeclampsia and eclampsia would adversely affect the health of the fetus due to decreased uteroplacental perfusion, hypovolemia, vasospasm, and damage to endothelial cells of the placental vessels. The exact cause of preeclampsia were not known. There are various risk factors, including parity factors and a history of hypertension. This type of research was a descriptive study with a case control design and using univariate and bivariate data analysis techniques with chi-square test where the population were inpartu mothers in the VK Room of Medika Stannia Hospital, Bangka Regency. Sampling using accidental sampling technique with a significant level of 95% (p 0.05). The results of this study indicate that there was a relationship between parity (p value 0.009) and history of hypertension (p value 0.023) to the incidence of severe preeclampsia. Based on the results of the study, it is hoped that the hospital will be able to control the risk of severe preeclampsia in the mother during pregnancy, especially mothers with primigravida parity and have a history of hypertension.

Hypertension is the most important modifiable risk factor for stroke, although its contribution differs for different subtypes. There are many risk factors that can cause stroke, namely factors that cannot be modified such as age, gender, genetics, and can be modified such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, smoking, alcohol consumption and substance therapy and diabetes. Physical dysfunction is one of the dominant aspects of post-stroke disability, often associated with stroke-specific disorders such as motor impairment, fatigue, spasticity, and balance problems. Abstract

Introduction: Child development is a fundamental aspect determining their future quality of life. Stunting, as a long-term nutritional disorder, remains a significant health issue in Indonesia, with a prevalence of 30.8%, according to Riskesdas 2018. Developmental check-ups play a key role in detecting developmental deviations. Yet, parental involvement remains low and is closely related to the level of understanding and number of children they have. Method: his research employed a cross-sectional approach using a questionnaire on parental knowledge and participation in child development screening, involving 47 respondents. Results: Chi-square test results showed a significant correlation between knowledge level and parental participation (p=0.01), while parity was not significantly associated with parental involvement (p=0.60). Conclusion: The analysis results indicate a significant relationship between knowledge and parental participation in child developmental screening, whereas parity does not show a statistically significant relationship with parental involvement.
