Abstract

Abstract Early childhood is a critical period where proper stimulation can significantly influence a child's overall development, including physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional growth. This community service focused on enhancing the gross motor skills of young children through an Outbound Kids and Parent program at RA Hidayatul Islamiyah, Plumpang Tuban. The program involved active participation from both children and parents, guided by PIAUD IAINU Tuban students. The methodology included preparation, implementation, and evaluation phases, emphasizing experiential learning through outdoor activities. The results demonstrated improved motor coordination in children and increased creativity and experience for students. The conclusion highlights the effectiveness of outbound activities in promoting physical development and strengthening the parent-child bond while providing practical learning experiences for future educators. Abstrak Masa kanak-kanak awal merupakan periode kritis di mana stimulasi yang tepat dapat memengaruhi perkembangan anak secara keseluruhan, termasuk perkembangan fisik, kognitif, dan sosial-emosional. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berfokus pada peningkatan keterampilan motorik kasar anak-anak melalui program Outbound Kids and Parent di RA Hidayatul Islamiyah, Plumpang Tuban. Program ini melibatkan partisipasi aktif dari anak-anak dan orang tua, dengan bimbingan mahasiswa PIAUD IAINU Tuban. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi, dengan penekanan pada pembelajaran melalui pengalaman langsung di alam terbuka. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan koordinasi motorik pada anak-anak serta peningkatan kreativitas dan pengalaman bagi mahasiswa. Kesimpulan menyoroti efektivitas kegiatan outbound dalam mendukung perkembangan fisik dan memperkuat ikatan antara orang tua dan anak, sambil memberikan pengalaman belajar praktis bagi calon pendidik. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to evaluate the impact of implementing art-based learning at RA Hidayatul Islamiyah Tuban through a community service program. The results show positive changes in teaching methods, children's engagement, teacher readiness, and the support of parents and the community. Initially conventional, the learning approach has become more interactive through the integration of art, such as storytelling with illustrations, collage art, music, and role-playing, which promote children's creative expression and social interaction. Teacher training enhanced their ability to integrate art into the curriculum, while outreach efforts to parents strengthened their participation in supporting children's artistic activities. Theoretically, this approach aligns with the developmental theories of Piaget, Vygotsky, and Erikson, as well as the principles of Montessori and Reggio Emilia, which emphasize independent exploration and the documentation of learning processes. Therefore, this study concludes that art-based learning contributes positively to early childhood development and should be sustainably implemented in the early childhood education curriculum. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak implementasi pembelajaran berbasis seni di RA Hidayatul Islamiyah Tuban melalui program pengabdian masyarakat, dengan hasil yang menunjukkan perubahan positif dalam metode pembelajaran, keterlibatan anak, kesiapan guru, serta dukungan orang tua dan masyarakat. Pembelajaran yang semula konvensional kini menjadi lebih interaktif melalui penerapan seni, seperti storytelling dengan ilustrasi, seni kolase, musik, dan permainan peran, yang mendorong ekspresi kreatif serta interaksi sosial anak. Pelatihan bagi guru meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam mengintegrasikan seni ke dalam kurikulum, sementara sosialisasi kepada orang tua memperkuat partisipasi mereka dalam mendukung aktivitas seni anak. Secara teoritis, pendekatan ini sejalan dengan teori perkembangan Piaget, Vygotsky, dan Erikson, serta prinsip Montessori dan Reggio Emilia, yang menekankan eksplorasi mandiri dan dokumentasi proses belajar. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis seni berkontribusi positif terhadap perkembangan anak usia dini dan perlu diimplementasikan secara berkelanjutan dalam kurikulum PAUD. Kata Kunci: pembelajaran berbasis seni, kreativitas, teori perkembangan.

Abstract

Abstract Environmental education activities regarding the dangers of illegal waste burning and the use of organic waste as compost in Karanglo Village aimed to raise public awareness of the negative impacts of waste burning on health and the environment, as well as to optimize organic waste management through composting. The implementation method includes preparation, socialization and training, and evaluation. Results showed an increase in public understanding of the dangers of toxic gases from waste burning and skills in processing organic waste into compost. This program is expected to reduce the practice of illegal waste burning and encourage the implementation of a circular economy through the use of compost for agriculture. Abstrak Kegiatan edukasi lingkungan mengenai bahaya pembakaran sampah ilegal dan pemanfaatan sampah organik sebagai kompos di Desa Karanglo bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan dampak negatif pembakaran sampah terhadap kesehatan dan lingkungan, serta mengoptimalkan pengelolaan sampah organik melalui pengomposan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi persiapan, sosialisasi dan pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang bahaya gas beracun dari pembakaran sampah dan keterampilan dalam mengolah sampah organik menjadi kompos. Program ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi praktik pembakaran sampah ilegal dan mendorong penerapan ekonomi sirkular melalui pemanfaatan kompos untuk pertanian. Kata kunci: Sosialisasi, Pelatihan, Pembuatan Pupuk Kompos, Sampah Organik.

Abstract

This research discusses the management of Arabic language instruction at RA Nurul Jadid Sembungrejo Plumpang, Tuban, aiming to understand the effectiveness of management approaches applied in introducing Arabic to early childhood students. Using a qualitative approach and field study methods, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The study findings indicate that the learning management process includes planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation phases, designed to create a structured and enjoyable learning environment. In planning, selected materials are relevant and age-appropriate, while the organization and implementation stages focus on utilizing engaging media and interactive methods to attract children's interest. Evaluation is conducted through direct observation and worksheets to assess students' understanding of Arabic vocabulary. The study concludes that effective learning management at RA Nurul Jadid not only aids students in mastering Arabic basics but also holistically supports their cognitive and spiritual development.

Abstract

Spiritual intelligence serves as the fundamental foundation for character formation in children from an early age, particularly within the framework of Islamic education. This study employs a qualitative approach using library research to explore the conceptual understanding of children's spiritual intelligence. This method enables an in-depth analysis of both classical and contemporary literature from Islamic sources as well as theories of developmental psychology and modern spiritual intelligence. The analysis follows systematic and iterative stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to achieve a comprehensive understanding. Research on children's spirituality from the perspective of Islamic education reveals that spiritual intelligence is an innate spiritual potential present from birth, which can be nurtured through guidance, habituation, and a supportive environment. Islamic education emphasizes the integration of spiritual values into children's education through three main approaches: philosophical (morality, compassion), psychological (integration of Islamic values with modern psychology), and prophetic pedagogy (the exemplary model of Prophet Muhammad PBUH). The development strategies are holistic, including the habituation of worship practices, curriculum integration, teacher role modeling, family involvement, and the use of technology. Its implications for educational practice include the habituation of religious values, use of visual media such as illustrated stories, the central role of parents, and direct experiences such as fasting, all aimed at establishing a strong spiritual foundation from an early age

Abstract

The ability to read the Qur’an properly is a fundamental competency for students at the madrasah ibtidaiyah level. However, differences in students’ reading abilities often pose challenges in implementing effective BTQ (Baca Tulis Al-Qur’an) learning. This study aims to describe the implementation of a differentiation-based talaqqi method in improving students’ Qur’an reading skills at MI Ibrahim Assamarqondi. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving BTQ teachers and students. The results indicate that the implementation was conducted through several stages, namely identifying students’ initial abilities, grouping students based on their reading levels, applying direct talaqqi guidance, and conducting continuous evaluation. The findings show that this method improves students’ reading fluency, accuracy of makharijul huruf, and application of tajwid rules. Supporting factors include teacher competence, a religious school environment, parental involvement, and students’ reading habits, while the main obstacles are limited instructional time and varied student abilities. Therefore, the differentiation-based talaqqi method is considered an effective strategy to enhance students’ Qur’an reading skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of multisensory-based musical learning in Arabic vocabulary (mufrodat) learning for early childhood at RA Hidayatun Najah Tuban, analyze the implementation process of song media in increasing children's learning engagement, and identify its impact on children's Arabic vocabulary mastery. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving teachers and children aged 5-6 years. The learning process utilized the adapted “Pelangi-Pelangi” song combined with body movements, visual activities, and repetitive pronunciation to create an interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere. The results showed that multisensory-based musical learning was implemented effectively through stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation integrated into Arabic learning activities. The use of song media increased students’ participation, enthusiasm, confidence, and learning motivation during the learning process. In addition, the implementation of multisensory-based musical learning positively impacted children’s ability to memorize, pronounce, and understand Arabic vocabulary more effectively. Therefore, this approach can serve as an innovative and meaningful learning strategy in Arabic language instruction for early childhood education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Emotional Qur’anic Learning (EQL) in improving memorization ability and fostering students’ love for the Qur’an in the subject of Qur’an Hadith at MI Miftahussudur 02 Dagangan Parengan in the 2025/2026 academic year. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants consisted of the principal, teachers, and students selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis followed the model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of EQL has a positive impact on students’ memorization ability, as reflected in improved fluency, consistent revision (muroja’ah), and regular Qur’an reading habits. Additionally, students’ affective aspects developed significantly, including increased intrinsic motivation, emotional stability, and love for the Qur’an. Supporting factors include the school’s religious culture, active teacher roles, consistent learning methods, and supportive school environment. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors involve limited learning media, student boredom, individual differences in ability, and lack of parental involvement. Therefore, EQL has strong potential as an effective approach to integrate cognitive, emotional, and spiritual aspects in Qur’anic learning.
