Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the role of parents in developing early childhood creativity during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research subjects were students of RA Hidayatul Islamiyah, parents, teachers, and principals. Research data were collected by several techniques, such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The triangulation technique is carried out by means of triangulation of techniques and sources, namely by re-checking the information from interviews with documentation and observations and matching from one informant to other informants. The results of research on the role of parents in developing children's creativity in cooking cakes in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic, show that there are parents who pay less attention to children's learning activities at home, but there are also parents who collaborate with teachers to direct children to study at home. The conclusion of this research is the role of parents who have high enthusiasm in developing children's learning creativity will have a good impact on children, especially during the current covid-19 pandemic, children really need the role of parents to develop children's creativity through cooking cakes taught at home.

Abstract

This study describes the development of early childhood social independence at RA Bustanul Wildan Karangrejo in the 2021/2022 academic year. The theories used as the basis for conducting this research include the theory of early childhood social independence and the theory of parents' economic status. The approach in this study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis of the data that has been collected by interview and observation documentation methods. Triangulation of data by comparing data from different instruments and observers. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the development of social self-esteem in early childhood at RA Bustanul Wildan in the 2021/2022 school year tends to be good. And there is no relationship between the development of children's social independence and the economic status of parents.

Abstract

Early childhood education is the level where early childhood enters the first stage before going to elementary school. Early childhood education has 6 aspects of development that must be developed, namely the development of religious and moral values, physical-motor development, social-emotional development, artistic development, language development, and cognitive development. This study aims to describe whether there is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding on the development of children aged 18-24 months, and to describe the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding on children's cognitive development. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a sample of 20 informants. Data collection methods used are group discussion forums, observations, interviews, and documentation. The research data obtained were then analyzed using thematic analysis. The results showed that there was a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding on child development, and exclusive breastfeeding on the cognitive development of children aged 18-24 months at Posyandu Bougenvile, Ngandong Village, Grabangan District, Tuban Regency.

Abstract

Abstract Early childhood is a critical period where proper stimulation can significantly influence a child's overall development, including physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional growth. This community service focused on enhancing the gross motor skills of young children through an Outbound Kids and Parent program at RA Hidayatul Islamiyah, Plumpang Tuban. The program involved active participation from both children and parents, guided by PIAUD IAINU Tuban students. The methodology included preparation, implementation, and evaluation phases, emphasizing experiential learning through outdoor activities. The results demonstrated improved motor coordination in children and increased creativity and experience for students. The conclusion highlights the effectiveness of outbound activities in promoting physical development and strengthening the parent-child bond while providing practical learning experiences for future educators. Abstrak Masa kanak-kanak awal merupakan periode kritis di mana stimulasi yang tepat dapat memengaruhi perkembangan anak secara keseluruhan, termasuk perkembangan fisik, kognitif, dan sosial-emosional. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berfokus pada peningkatan keterampilan motorik kasar anak-anak melalui program Outbound Kids and Parent di RA Hidayatul Islamiyah, Plumpang Tuban. Program ini melibatkan partisipasi aktif dari anak-anak dan orang tua, dengan bimbingan mahasiswa PIAUD IAINU Tuban. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi, dengan penekanan pada pembelajaran melalui pengalaman langsung di alam terbuka. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan koordinasi motorik pada anak-anak serta peningkatan kreativitas dan pengalaman bagi mahasiswa. Kesimpulan menyoroti efektivitas kegiatan outbound dalam mendukung perkembangan fisik dan memperkuat ikatan antara orang tua dan anak, sambil memberikan pengalaman belajar praktis bagi calon pendidik. Kata kunci: Anak usia dini, Kegiatan outbound, Interaksi orang tua-anak.

Abstract

Abstract: Color mixing activity by using an experimental method can develop the child’s cognitivie. In fact, the learning process in RA Hidayatul Islamiyah showel low cognitive ability, can be seen from mixing color activities, children in 4 year old can only mix one color which has been given by the teacher. Instructional media is provided but it less in using, and using the method in the learning process less effective. The subject of this study are all of children’s group A RA Hidayatul Islamiyah. The research used the method of a pre-experimental design with pre-test reseach design post-test design group given observation before treatment and after treatment. Data collection methods used were observation and documentation. Result the effectiveness of experimental methods of mixing colour in children’s cognitive development that has been done, showing that there is an increasing use of experimental methods by mixing the colors. Based on t test between before and after treatment can be seen there is an increasing use of experimental methods by mixing the color in the cognitive development of children’s. This is evidenced by t count bigger than t table at the 0,95 significance level (db) =23 at 1,71 and the value obtained is 21,11. It can be concluded that it significantly effictiveness through the use of experimental methods in mixing of colors children’s cognitive development is increase significantly.

Abstract

His study is a qualitative research aimed at describing the ability of students of the Early Childhood Islamic Education Study Program in telling stories in the qashashul qur'an course. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The data is then analyzed by inductive analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that as the learning objectives, namely: students are brave / confident to appear to tell stories, students tell stories according to good storytelling rules for early childhood, students are able to provide wisdom from the stories conveyed can be achieved. From the research above, it can be concluded that in telling stories, things that need to be considered are as often as possible to practice or perform, this can increase students' courage, train themselves to get used to speaking, have a lot of story references, and can provide wisdom or moral messages to be conveyed.

Abstract

This research discusses about examines the application of Fun-Based Learning in teaching Arabic to early childhood students at KB Bina Anak Muslim. Through observations, interviews, and documentation, it was found that the program incorporates varied methods such as singing, playing, memorization, and writing, aligning with the developmental needs of young children. The primary teaching resource is the Hijaiyah book, supplemented with diverse learning media, including flashcards, electronic devices, and coloring worksheets. The learning process is structured into distinct stages: opening (prayer and topic discussion), questioning (simple Q&A), main activities (reciting and coloring Hijaiyah letters), break time, and closing (vocabulary review and daily prayers). Documentation reveals the effectiveness of combining these methods and media in creating an engaging and effective learning environment, fostering children's enthusiasm for learning Arabic. The integration of these various approaches supports early childhood cognitive, social, and emotional development, making Arabic language learning accessible and enjoyable.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of innovation and creativity among students in utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to complete academic assignments, as well as to identify the ethical challenges and risks involved. A qualitative phenomenological approach was used, involving eight active students from the Early Childhood Islamic Education (PIAUD) program who frequently use platforms such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, Canva AI, and DALL-E. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings reveal that students use AI not only for technical efficiency but also as a medium to express creativity in essay writing, language editing, and visual media production. However, ethical issues arise, including technological dependency and uncertainty about the authenticity of AI-assisted academic work. This research contributes significantly to the development of AI literacy programs and institutional policies in higher education, promoting responsible AI use while reinforcing students’ independent thinking and learning.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the gross motor development of children aged 5-6 years at RA Hidayatus Sholihin Merakurak through the implementation of the traditional game Ceu Cat. The research sample consisted of 18 students, comprising 10 boys and 8 girls. The study employed a classroom action research approach using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which includes four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through direct observation and documentation of children's activities, then analyzed descriptively and analytically to identify changes in gross motor skills. The research findings indicate that the traditional game method Ceu Cat significantly improved children's gross motor skills over two cycles, with most children reaching the category of development as expected (BSH). These findings affirm that traditional games not only provide enjoyment but also play a crucial role in supporting children's physical development. The conclusion of this study is that the use of the traditional game Ceu Cat is an effective strategy for developing early childhood gross motor skills while simultaneously preserving local cultural heritage in the educational context.
