Abstract

This study aims to identify the market segment of Ibis Styles Bali Legian Hotel and to find out the digital marketing strategy through the mobile application in increasing room sales. This study used descriptive qualitative research methods and used primary data through interviews, observations, documentation and questionnaires. The results showed that the market segments at Ibis Styles Bali Legian were mostly FIT (Free Independence Travelers) from the Distribution and inbound segments, and the majority of tourists from Australia. The digital marketing strategy through the mobile application in increasing room sales were through promotion of products and services for brand awareness, strengthening online reputation and traffic growth, through social media, online banners on the landing page, optimization of SEO, SEM and keywords to facilitate searches/browses, collaborate with influencers and travel bloggers as well as provide extra benefits in transactions made through mobile applications. With this strategy, impacting the reservations via mobile applications is dominating the market segment by 85% of the total market and increase the sales from year to year.

Abstract

Purpose: The number of domestic and foreign tourists visiting Bali decreased significantly during COVID-19. Amarta Retreat & Recreation in Tabanan, Bali, tends to reduce the number of tourists and the occupancy rate of bamboo villas in 2020 and 2021. Business management needs to be analyzed according to sustainable tourism indicators, primarily economic aspects, because of the impact of the pandemic. This research aims to determine how to manage economic sustainability and develop a management model to improve financial sustainability according to sustainable tourism indicators.Methods: This study uses a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques of interviews, observations, document studies, and focus group discussions (FGD). It is based on interactive model data analysis activities with the NVivo 12 Plus tool.Implication: There are several aspects of the indicators that must be improved, namely the development of a system for managing comments and feedback from tourists, developing travel routes within the resort by developing tour package products, improving website performance as a marketing tool, optimizing strategies for the rebranding process, and considering brand protection as intellectual property.

Abstract

In conducting tourism business activities, the internet is one form of utilizing information technology in the era of globalization. The intensity of internet use also has a very large influence on changes that occur in the concept of business utilization, especially in the marketing business model that is carried out. Competition in the era of globalization requires companies that provide goods or services to always be responsive and observant in what is happening today. Airbnb is an online media that brings together tourism accommodation service providers and managers with tourism accommodation service users in the form of a website that can be accessed via mobile phones. This study analyzes the implementation of e-marketing in the accommodation business model innovation on Airbnb sites in Bali. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews and literature study. Data analysis was descriptive qualitative using Porter's Five Force Models (PFFM). This model is used to analyze competitive forces in marketing accommodation in Bali through the airbnb website. The results showed that the implementation of e-marketing in the innovation of the tourism accommodation business model on the Airbnb site in Bali by applying the PFFM proved to be quite effective. The competitive advantages of the Airbnb site are: multiple listings, two booking process confirmation systems, smaller booking commissions, competitive prices, no disparity rates, ease of registration, and marketing unique accommodation titles. Implementation of Porter's model is used to increase accommodation unit revenue by accepting bookings on the Airbnb situs site.

Abstract

Kemenuh Monkey River is one of tourism destination that located in Sukawati district, Gianyar regency, Bali. It is a nature-based tourism destination rich in biodiversity and cultural heritage. The area is characterized by a pristine river ecosystem, the presence of long-tailed macaques (Macaca fascicularis), and local communities that maintain strong traditional and spiritual practices. However, increasing environmental pressure from tourism development highlights the urgent need for a shift toward sustainable practices through the implementation of green tourism. This study aims to analyze the implementation green tourism at Kemenuh Monkey River through a multidimensional framework encompassing environmental, social, cultural, and economic aspects. And also, to analyse the model of green tourism implementation at Kemenuh Monkey River. This study uses a descriptive qualitative design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, focus group discussions, and literature review. From the research results, it is known that efforts have been made to implement green tourism. The implementation of green tourism is also in line with the local wisdom of the community, Tri Hita Karana. The philosophy includes a harmonious relationship between humans and God (parahyangan), fellow humans (pawongan), and the natural environment (palemahan) which become strong foundation in forming a green tourism model rooted in local wisdom. Environmentally, the area requires integrated waste management and ecological conservation. Socially and culturally, community participation and the preservation of local wisdom are essential to ensure identity-based tourism development. The implementation of green tourism is also outlined in traditional regulations/awig-awig. Economically, green tourism has the potential to enhance local economic growth through employment opportunity, profit sharing to the village, and eco-friendly businesses and community based enterprises. Preliminary findings indicate that Kemenuh Monkey River holds significant potential to serve as a model for green tourism in Bali. Effective implementation requires cross sector collaboration to raise awareness among all stakeholders to implement green tourism in accordance with the tri hita karana philosophy

Abstract

Green hotels use green practices to reduce environmental impacts and increase the sustainability of hotel operations, including saving energy, managing waste and waste, and building design. This study aims to determine the application of the green hotel in Villa Kayu Raja Bali. This research is useful to encourage the hospitality industry to adopt environmentally friendly measures for sustainability. The types of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data collection method was obtained through observation, interviews, and questionnaire distribution with a saturated sample of 32 employees as respondents and 2 informants. Data analysis techniques in this study use descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results showed an application value of 2.94 that overall the application of green hotels in Villa Kayu Raja Bali has been implemented well. Indicators that have been well implemented are architecture, water conservation, implementing new methods of saving electrical and water energy, the environment in the building, guest rooms, places to eat, saving paper, materials that need to be washed grouped, green guest rooms, green food, and green training programs. The indicators that need to be improved are in new energy; utilizing new energy and renewable energy sources, implementing new methods of saving solar energy, and environmental protection tools, namely refrigerators and air conditioners without Freon.
