Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of academic procrastination or academic delay of students in working on their thesis. This research is included in quantitative descriptive research. The research subjects were students of educational technology. while the sampling technique in this study using convenience sampling method. The data in the study were collected using a psychological scale, namely the academic procrastination scale. From the results of the survey the data shows that the empirical score is smaller than the theoretical mean score. This shows that the data research subject is higher than the theoretical average value, which means that the research subject has high academic procrastination behavior. With these results, the researchers concluded that there was a significant average difference in students' academic procrastination behavior and it could be stated that the academic procrastination behavior of educational technology students in 2016 in working on their high thesis proved to be significant. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that the study program can improve the quality of thesis guidance services in order to reduce the increase in student academic procrastination.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran prokrastinasi akademik atau penundaan akademik mahasiswa dalam mengerjakan skripsi. Penelitian ini termasuk kedalam penelitian deskriptif pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa teknologi pendidikan. sedangkan teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini  menggunakan metode convenience sampling. Data dalam penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan skala psikologi yaitu skala prokrastinasi akademik. Dari hasil pengumpulan data menunjukkan bahwa skor  empirik  yang lebih kecil dari skor mean teoritik. Hal itu menunjukkan bahwa subjek penelitian data lebih tinggi dari nilai rata-rata teoritik yang berarti subjek penelitian memiliki perilaku prokrastinasi akademik yang tergolong tinggi. Dengan hasil tersebut peneliti menyimpulkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan pada perilaku prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa dan dapat dinyatakan bahwa perilaku prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa TEP2016 dalam mengerjakan skripsi tinggi dan terbukti secara signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan prodi dapat meningkatkan mutu pelayanan bimbingan skripsi agar dapat mengurangi peningkatan prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa.

Abstract

SPNF SKB Kota Malang merupakan salah satu satuan pendidikan nonformal yang terdapat program pendidikan kesetaraan salah satunya adalah Paket C. Pendidikan kesetaraan Paket C memanfaatkan media pembelajaran yaitu aplikasi seTARA daring. Penting adanya motivasi belajar pada peserta didik yang mana dapat menumbuhkan semangat dan keinginan yang besar untuk melakukan kegiatan belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendiskripsikan motivasi belajar Paket C, mendeskripsikan aplikasi seTARA daring serta menganalisis apakah terdapat pengaruh antara seTARA daring dengan motivasi belajar Paket C. Kuantitatif merupakan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Adapun populasi yang berjumlah 88 orang yang merupakan peserta didik Paket C di SPNF SKB Kota Malang. Penentuan jumlah sampel dengan cara propotional stratified random sampling.  Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa aplikasi seTARA daring mempengaruhi secara positif terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik Paket C yakni sebesar 50,9% dan memiliki kategori sedang. Dari penjelasan tersebut, dapat ditarik kesimpulan semakin tinggi kualitas konten pada aplikasi seTARA daring, maka semakin meningkat pula motivasi belajar pada peserta didik program kesetaraan Paket C di SPNF SKB Kota Malang.

Abstract

One of the communication skills in the 21st century is giving speeches. To improve your speech skills, relevant media and strategies are needed. The Al-Quran must be used as a guide for Muslims. Islamic schools currently need technology-based learning tools that are able to search for information effectively, quickly and accurately. This research describes the use of the Al-Quran indexation application tafsirwe.com in preparing speeches and describes strategies for improving the communication skills of Al Muslim Middle School students. This exploratory qualitative research aims to describe alternative new strategies in learning Indonesian, especially speech using digital Al-Quran indexation. Data was obtained from a collection of work from class IX and class VIII students from SMP Al Muslim, then analyzed through coding and interpreting the meaning of the findings as well as reinforced by teacher anecdotes and the results of interviews with the head of the Education division of the Al Muslim Foundation. Through the keywords included in tafsirweb.com, students find a lot of tafsir information as a basis for preparing speech texts. The flow of using tafsirweb.com is classified into three types, all have the same search goal, namely finding letters, verses, meanings, and verse content, but each type has a different function, type 1 uses tafsirweb.com to find ideas, type 2 to look for appropriate references, type 3 to strengthen the contents of the text, the information obtained by students through tafsirweb.com is then developed through persuasive sentences which are formulated through telling strategies, commanding strategies, and forbidding strategies.
