Abstract

Child abuse is a serious problem that affects children's physical and psychological development. As Surakarta City faces this problem, the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning (DP3AP2KB) is responsible for prevention. This research analyzes the role of DP3AP2KB in preventing violence against children in Surakarta. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, documentation. Determination of informants using purposive sampling technique . Data were analyzed using the Miles and Hubberman interaction model. The results showed that DP3AP2KB Surakarta City made efforts to prevent violence against children through five indicators by Siagian (2005), stabilizers, innovators, modernizers, pioneers, and implementers. Stabilizers are carried out through socialization of violence prevention in schools, strengthening FAS, socializing the PUSPAGA Task Force, and strengthening the KLA Working Group. As an innovator, DP3AP2KB utilizes social media, such as Instagram, for FAS publications. The role of modernizer is realized with online services, ULAS complaints, training on the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and commemoration of National Children's Day. As a pioneer, DP3AP2KB provides friendly services and maintains the confidentiality of clients of violence. In its implementing role, DP3AP2KB collaborates with APSAI, Children's Forum, Integrated Service Post, and PUSPAGA Task Force. Although the program is working well, parental and community factors are still influential, so there is a need to develop community programs and training to increase awareness and prevention of violence against children. Abstract

The Population and Civil Registration Office of Karanganyar Regency issued the “Kadang Cinta” program for IKD activation services. This study aims to describe and analyze the “Kadang Cinta” public service standards at the Karanganyar Regency Population and Civil Registration Office. This type of research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection and conclusions using interviews, observation and documentation. This study uses the six dimensions of Ridwan and Sudrajat's theory (2009) which consists of: (1) Service Procedures, (2) Completion Time, (3) Service Fees, (4) Service Products, (5) Facilities and Infrastructure, and (6) Officer Competence. Based on the research results, it is shown with the following results: (1) The dimension of service procedures is not in accordance with service standards as seen from the ownership of requirements, the community is confused and has not realized the existence of IKD, (2) The dimension of completion time is not in accordance with service standards as seen from the server connection constraints that hamper the service process. (3) The dimension of service costs is in accordance with service standards as seen from the suitability of the fees set and there is transparency of costs so that there is no extortion, (4) The dimension of service products is in accordance with service standards as seen from the service products produced in accordance with the legal basis, provisions and those published, (5) The dimension of facilities and infrastructure is in accordance with service standards in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the job seeker card application process at the Surakarta City Manpower Office. This study highlights how the Surakarta City Manpower Office has succeeded in meeting the needs of job seekers by providing maximum service in processing applications. Despite the constraints of the phone operator's ability, instability of demand, especially during peak times, the Surakarta City Manpower Office has maintained the completion of job seeker card applications on time, ensuring that job seekers receive their cards without delay. This study uses the theory of Effectiveness according to William N Dunn (2021) namely efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness and accuracy. Then this study uses qualitative methods, including interviews with job seekers and staff, to collect information about the service delivery process. The results of the study indicate that the Surakarta City Manpower Office's commitment to efficiency and user-centered services has resulted in a positive experience for job seeker card applicants. Users reported receiving adequate direction and support during the job seeker card application process, which has fostered trust and engagement. Overall, this study shows that the Surakarta City Manpower Office in terms of service effectiveness is good and can meet the needs of the community. This study underlines the importance of effective public service delivery in improving the accessibility of employment resources for job seekers, contributing to the goals of economic growth and broader community welfare in Surakarta.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that affects children's growth and development, particularly in physical and cognitive aspects. This condition remains a challenge in various regions, including Tanjung Village, Nguter District, Sukoharjo Regency. This research aims to describe and analyze the implementation of stunting prevention policies in Tanjung Village based on George C. Edwards III's implementation theory, which includes communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Informants were purposively selected, consisting of village midwives, health cadres, village officials, and Puskesmas Nguter staff. The research results show that the policy implementation has been progressing quite well. Cross-sector communication is actively carried out through socialization and counseling. Human resources and supporting facilities are available, although limited by the budget. The disposition of the implementers shows a positive attitude and high commitment in executing the program. The bureaucratic structure has been equipped with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), but there are still obstacles in the compliance of the implementers with work standards. Overall, the implementation of stunting prevention policies in Tanjung Village shows a positive direction, but still requires strengthening, especially in terms of resources and consistency of execution

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi gizi remaja sebagai upaya pencegahan stunting melalui pendekatan edukasi berbasis komunitas. Program dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Mandan, Kecamatan Sukoharjo, dengan melibatkan 65 anggota Karang Taruna berusia 15–19 tahun sebagai peserta utama. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) dengan pelaksanaan berupa ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok terarah (FGD), simulasi pola makan bergizi, serta diseminasi konten edukatif melalui media sosial. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor pengetahuan peserta dari 63,4 pada pre-test menjadi 83,5 pada post-test, dengan peningkatan sebesar 31,7%. Tantangan utama dalam kegiatan ini mencakup heterogenitas tingkat pendidikan peserta dan keterbatasan waktu pelaksanaan. Namun, kolaborasi erat dengan Karang Taruna dan pemanfaatan media digital berhasil mengatasi sebagian besar kendala tersebut. Program ini berkontribusi terhadap praktik pengabdian masyarakat dengan memperkenalkan model pemberdayaan remaja berbasis komunitas yang dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain. Kontribusi ini memberikan nilai tambah dalam pengembangan strategi edukasi gizi yang berkelanjutan dan kontekstual di tingkat lokal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengiplementasikan Sistem Informasi Administrasi Kependudukan (SIAK) di Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Kabupaten OKU Timur. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Kabupaten Oku Timur, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Metode ini digunakan untuk melakukan penelitian yang bersifat naratif, dan cenderung menggunakan analisis terhadap sesuatu yang akan diteliti. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah primer dan sekunder, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengujian keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil menggunakan berbagai metode komunikasi untuk menyampaikan informasi terkait SIAK kepada Masyarakat cukup baik, Sumber daya sendiri Pemerintah sudah Kompetensi dari para pegawai operasional di Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Ogan Komering Ulu Timur sudah menjalankan program sesuai dengan keahlian dibidang teknologi informasi sehingga mereka memahami dan mengerti hal ha terkait dengan program aplikasi tersebut, Hal yang perlu diperhatikan dalam melihat disposisi dari implementor kebijakan yakni pada saat menerima pegawai adalah dari rekrutmen yang diadakan pemerintah melalui penerimaan CPNS yang digelar secara nasional. Kebijakan tentang Sistem Informasi Administrasi Kependudukan (SIAK) merupakan salah satu upaya yang dilakukan pemerintah pusat dalam meningkatkan dan menjaga ketepatan dan ketersediaan data-data tentang penduduk yang lengkap, untuk dilaksanakan oleh segenap perangkat pemerintahdi tingkat daerah. Abstract

This research examines the coordination efforts of the Karanganyar District Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) in managing disasters, identifying obstacles, and exploring efforts to strengthen these coordination efforts. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a case study method, the study aims to investigate the mechanisms of cross-sector coordination, communication patterns, and division of labor within BPBD. Data was gathered through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies, and analyzed using an interactive model. The findings indicate that BPBD's coordination is relatively effective, demonstrated through unified action, a multi-channel communication system, and a clear division of labor. However, challenges remain, including the complexity of cross-sectoral coordination, differences in capacity and authority, and the pressure of emergency situations. The study concludes that improving coordination requires enhancing staff discipline, developing human resource capacity, and strengthening an integrated work system. These efforts are vital for improving the overall effectiveness of disaster management at the local level, ensuring a more efficient and comprehensive response to disasters in the future.

Abstract

Ketergantungan ekonomi masyarakat Kelurahan Mandan, Kecamatan Sukoharjo, Kabupaten Sukoharjo pada sektor industri tekstil menimbulkan kerentanan besar, terutama saat perusahaan dinyatakan pailit yang berujung pada Pemutusan Hubungan Kerja (PHK). Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memulihkan kemandirian ekonomi warga terdampak PHK di RT 01 RW 09 Kelurahan Mandan melalui penguatan motivasi dan keterampilan kewirausahaan. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui empat tahapan utama: perencanaan, persiapan, intervensi berupa sosialisasi dan pelatihan interaktif, serta evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi kognitif yang signifikan dari seluruh peserta. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan kenaikan nilai rata-rata dari rentang 40–80 pada tahap pre-test menjadi 70–100 pada tahap post-test. Selain peningkatan pemahaman materi mengenai manajemen usaha dan strategi pemasaran, kegiatan ini juga memberikan bantuan peralatan usaha sebagai stimulus konkret. Program ini berhasil mengubah pola pikir mitra dari pencari kerja menjadi pencipta peluang usaha, yang diharapkan dapat membangun ketahanan ekonomi keluarga secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

his study examines public perception of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (Makan Bergizi Gratis-MBG) as reflected in interactions on TikTok, addressing the gap between policy design and its implementation in practice. Specifically, it seeks to understand how the public evaluates the implementation of MBG based on George C. Edwards III’s policy implementation framework, which includes communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. This research adopts an exploratory qualitative approach using netnography. Digital data were collected through online observation, scraping, and documentation, and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal a paradox in policy implementation as reflected in public perception. While the consistency of program communication and the visible commitment of government officials were positively perceived, substantial criticism emerged regarding resources and bureaucratic structure. Public responses highlighted inequalities in supply chain management that tend to disadvantage local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). In addition, critical weaknesses in the supervision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) were identified, culminating in a mass food poisoning incident in Kulon Progo. This study contributes to the literature on policy implementation and digital society by demonstrating how TikTok functions as a critical digital space. It not only serves as a platform for policy dissemination but also acts as a “digital judge” that can rapidly erode public trust when implementation failures occur. Therefore, the government is strongly recommended to strengthen regulations protecting local economies and improve quality control mechanisms to address these bureaucratic gaps.

Abstract

This community service activity is in collaboration with the Family Empowerment and Welfare (PKK) organization, Mandan Village, Sukoharjo District, Sukoharjo Regency. The problems faced in this organization are related to the management of administrative activities which are not well managed. This condition will make it difficult to administer important documents that can support the smooth running of PKK activities. This is because most of the PKK's activities are carried out without an administrative governance system. Likewise for other activities that are carried out without physical evidence but only in the form of verbal agreements without going through the stages of planning, implementation, reporting or evaluation. Based on these problems, the community service team at Slamet Riyadi University (Unisri) Surakarta provided outreach regarding the PKK administrative governance system in Mandan Village, Sukoharjo District, Sukoharjo Regency. The method of implementing activities is carried out by holding socialization which aims to provide a good overview of the document administration system for PKK activities. Furthermore, providing assistance regarding the administration of PKK activity documents. Based on the results of the evaluation of community service activities, the results showed that PKK members were able to make an agreement by going through the stages of planning, implementation, reporting and evaluation for PKK activities in a simple form.
