Abstract

Desa Wonorejo, Kecamatan Wates, Kabupaten Kediri menghadapi masalah lingkungan, yaitu kasus perilaku pegolahan sampah dengan cara dibakar meskipun fasilitas pengelolaan samapah sudah tersedia. Hal ini menyebabkan pencemaran udara akibat emisi gas beracun hasil pembakaran sampah. Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan dan keberdayaan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah berkelanjutan melalui sosialisasi dampak pembakaran sampah, pengenalan teknologi tepat guna biopori, dan peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan pemeliharaan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 16 Agustus 2025 di Desa Wonorejo dengan 31 peserta menggunakan metode ceramah untuk sosialisasi dampak pembakaran sampah dan konsep biopori, serta demonstrasi melalui video praktik pembuatan lubang biopori. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan metode pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan. Program dilengkapi pembagian booklet dan penyerahan alat bor biopori untuk keberlanjutannya. Hasil dari kegiatan WIJALINGA ini telah berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat rata-rata 28,36% dengan peningkatan tertinggi pada pemahaman produksi kompos (38,7%), pengetahuan dasar biopori (35,4%), dan jenis sampah organik (29,0%). Implementasi praktis menunjukkan peningkatan terendah (12,9%). Namun demikian, masih perlu adanya pendampingan berkelanjutan, pelatihan praktis, serta monitoring jangka panjang untuk memfasilitasi transisi pengetahuan menjadi implementasi nyata.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the implementation of Work from Home (WFH) systems and the role of organizational culture in shaping employee performance within modern organizational environments. Triggered by the widespread transition to remote work in response to global disruptions, this research adopts a qualitative approach based on an integrative literature review, synthesizing insights from 42 peer-reviewed articles and institutional reports published between 2019 and 2025. The methodological framework involves thematic content analysis of selected scholarly works, focusing on key variables such as digital readiness, cultural typology, leadership behavior, and employee experience under WFH conditions. Findings reveal that the effectiveness of WFH systems is not determined solely by technological deployment but is significantly influenced by organizational culture and leadership practices. Specifically, trust-based, inclusive, and flexible cultures are positively associated with higher employee engagement and productivity. Furthermore, the study identifies that employee performance is shaped by a balance between autonomy, role clarity, and digital social connectivity. The research also underscores the importance of sustainability in remote work ecosystems, advocating for policies that support well-being, environmental responsibility, and long-term strategic integration. These insights provide theoretical contributions to organizational behavior and remote work literature, while offering practical guidance for leaders seeking to design resilient, human-centered digital work systems. The study recommends future interdisciplinary research to explore the evolving dynamics of hybrid work, performance measurement, and organizational adaptation in a post-pandemic world.

Abstract

Background: Worm infections in free-range chickens are an important health issue in the animal food industry and consumption in Indonesia. Purpose: This study aims to determine the prevalence of worms in the intestines of free-range chickens sold in traditional markets in Payakumbuh City, and to identify their types. Method:  Worm identification was carried out using samples of chicken intestines from traditional markets in Payakumbuh City. The samples were taken to the laboratory to be dissected to check for the presence of worms in the intestines. Intestines that were positive for worms were placed in a petri dish containing distilled water before being placed in a plastic bottle containing 70% ethanol. The method used for staining was Acetocarmine Semichon for cestodes and clove oil for nematodes. Worm species was determined by observation under a microscope. Data in the form of the types of worms found was analyzed descriptively. Data obtained quantitatively, namely the prevalence of endoparasites, was processed using Ms. Excel 2013. Results: The results showed that 31 out of 50 samples of free-range chicken intestines (Gallus domesticus) examined in traditional markets in Payakumbuh City were positive for worm infections. The prevalence of worm infections in traditional markets in Payakumbuh City was found to be 62%. The prevalence based on the type of endoparasite in traditional markets in Payakumbuh City was Railletina sp. (28%), Hymenolepis sp. (6%), Ascaridia sp. (14%), and Hetarakis sp. (14%). Conclusion: The prevalence rate of worm infections in free-range chickens in traditional markets in Payakumbuh City was 62%. The types of worms found were Railletina sp., Ascaridia sp., Hetarakis sp., and Hymenolepis sp. The most common type of worm was Railletina sp.

Abstract

Aktivitas fisik yang rendah pada lansia penderita diabetes melitus berkontribusi pada tingginya kadar gula darah. Kadar gula darah yang tinggi dapat menyebabkan komplikasi kesehatan yang lebih besar. Salah satu tata laksana dalam diabetes melitus adalah aktivitas fisik. Aktivitas fisik yang dilakukan berkesinambungan membantu menurunkan kadar gula darah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara aktivitas fisik dengan kadar gula darah pada lansia penderita diabetes mellitus Puskesmas Silir. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode observasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional study. Pengambilan sampel dengan Accidental Sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 96 responden dari sampel sejumlah 408, dengan instrumen GPAQ (Global Physical Activity Questionnaire). Analisis data menggunakan uji Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebesar 60.4% partisipan memiliki aktivitas fisik kategori Inaktif, serta 53.1% kadar gula dari partisipan masuk dalam kategori Tinggi. Hasil uji Spearman menunjukkan ρ-value = 0,000 < 0,05 dengan koefisien korelasi -0,830 yang menunjukkan arah negatif dengan kekuatan hubungan sangat kuat. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas fisik memiliki hubungan yang sangat kuat dengan kadar gula darah lansia dengan Diabetes Mellitus. Hal ini bermakna bahwa aktivitas fisik menjadi tatalaksana yang penting dalam perawatan lansia dengan Diabetes Mellitus.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of compensation and work environment on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable at Al Mubarak Cendekia Islamic School. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to employees of Al Mubarak Cendekia Islamic School. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the help of SmartPLS 4 software to test the direct and indirect relationships between the research variables. The results of the study show that (1) Compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at Al Mubarak Cendekia Islamic School. (2) The work environment has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance at Al Mubarak Cendekia Islamic School. (3) Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at Al Mubarak Cendekia Islamic School. (4) Compensation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at Al Mubarak Scholar Islamic School. (5) The work environment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at Al Mubarak Cendekia Islamic School. (6) Compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction at Al Mubarak Cendekia Islamic School.
