Abstract

Purpose The aim of this study is to examine how ambidexterity capabilities (exploration and exploitation) and entrepreneurial orientation contribute to competitive advantage in East Java's tourism industry. Methodology/approach: The research was conducted in East Java's tourism sector, involving a survey of 230 tourism managers selected through purposive sampling. The data was analyzed using path analysis with mediation tests and t-tests through SmartPLS to examine the relationships between the study variables. Results/findings: This study found that Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO) enhances both exploratory and exploitative ambidexterity, which promotes innovation and efficiency. Although EO directly enhances competitive advantage, its impact varies across the dimensions of ambidexterity. Exploratory ambidexterity weakens the relationship between EO and competitive advantage, while exploitative ambidexterity strengthens it. This suggests that balancing innovation with execution is key to sustaining success in the market. Conclusions: The research concludes that tourism organizations in East Java should focus on developing ambidexterity exploitation capabilities to maximize the benefits of their entrepreneurial orientation for achieving competitive advantage. The balanced management of external challenges proves more crucial than internal resource management in this context. Limitations: A limitation of the study is its focus on East Java's tourism industry and its use of purposive sampling, which may affect the generalizability of findings to other regions or sectors. Contribution: This study contributes to tourism management literature by empirically testing the ambidexterity-competitive advantage relationship in an underexplored context. The findings provide practical insights for tourism managers on strategically allocating resources between exploration and exploitation activities to enhance their competitive position.

Abstract

Petani adalah individu atau kelompok yang terlibat dalam produksi pertanian untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pasar atau konsumsi lokal. Petani berperan penting dalam proses produksi hingga distribusi hasil panen, namun sering mengalami kendala dalam pengelolaan keuangan. POKMAS Al-Fatihah Farm di Desa Jelbuk, Kabupaten Jember, berupaya mengkoordinasikan hasil pertanian agar dapat dijual dengan harga lebih tinggi. Akan tetapi, mereka menghadapi tantangan karena kurangnya pengetahuan dalam manajemen keuangan. Untuk itu, tim pengusul memberikan pelatihan pengelolaan keuangan yang mencakup pengenalan akun dalam akuntansi, pencatatan, hingga analisis hasil. Tujuan yaitu agar kelompok masyarakat mampu mengelola keuangan hasil panen dengan efektif dan efisien untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan anggota kelompok. Metode yang digunakan adalah ABCD (Asset Based Community Development), yang memanfaatkan aset seperti pengetahuan dan pengalaman yang dimiliki anggota masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dalam mengelola keuangan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota POKMAS Al-Fatihah Farm serta petani Desa Jelbuk dalam manajemen keuangan hasil pertanian. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan para peserta mampu menyusun rencana keuangan sederhana, melakukan pencatatan pemasukan dan pengeluaran serta mengetahui prinsip-prinsip sederhana manajemen keuangan.

Abstract

This research was conducted on consumers who had bought Scarlett in Jember. The aim is to determine the influence of consumers who wish to buy and decide to buy which is influenced by the flash sale promotions and brand ambassadors used by Scarlett. Data collection The method used was a questionnaire with a purposive sampling technique of 190 respondents from Jember who had purchased Scarlett at least once and were aged 20 years and over. Hypothesis test using path analysis with the help of SPSS 25. The results of this study state that: 1) Partial flash sale promotions have a significant influence on buying interest. 2) Brand ambassadors partially have a significant influence on purchasing interest. 3) Partial purchasing interest has a significant influence on purchasing decisions. 4) Partial flash sale promotions have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. Tourist experiences have a positive and significant effect on intention to visit again. 5) Brand ambassadors partially have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. 6) Flash sale promotions partially have a significant effect on purchasing decisions through purchase interest. 7) Brand ambassadors partially have a significant influence on purchasing decisions through purchase interest.

Abstract

Abstract The productive Zakat is expected to contribute to alleviating poverty. The productive zakat model is a sustainable charity model and is not consumptive, so it can be expected to contribute to poverty alleviation. So, this research has some purposes thethe first is to explore the formula about the problem of productive zakat management carried out by BAZNAS; secondly, to analyze the impact of productive zakat on poverty alleviaton; and thirdly, to measure the poverty of mustahik productive zakat using the CIBEST model. The problem is solved using a mixed-method approach, namely qualitative with case study type and quantitative methods with descriptive statistics type. In this study, using qualitative research methods were used first, then continued using quantitative. This research took place in Probolinggo. Regency. The results of this study, first, the management of productive zakat by BAZNAS Probolinggo Regency uses the GAG ​​principle and uses the POAC management system. Second, productive zakat management has not had an impact on material poverty alleviation. Third, the poverty position of mustahik productive zakat using the CIBEST model, which is in quadrant II, it means that Mustahik has spiritual wealth and is materially poor.   Zakat produktif diharapkan bisa berkontribusi dalam mengentaskan kemiskinan. Model zakat produktif merupakan model charity yang berkelanjutan dan tidak bersifat konsumtif, sehingga bisa diharapkan bisa memberikan kontribusi pada pengentasan kemiskinan. Sehingga penelitian ini memiliki tujuan pertama mengeksplorasi tentang masalah pengelolaan zakat produktif yang dilaksanakan oleh BAZNAS, kedua, menganalisis dampak zakat produktif dalam pengentasan kemiskinan, ketiga mengukur kemiskinan mustahik zakat produktif dengan menggunakan model CIBEST. Masalah tersebut diselesaikan menggunakan pendekatan mix method, yaitu metode kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus dan kuantitatif dengan jenis statistik deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif terlebih dahulu, kemudian dilanjutkan menggunakan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini mengambil objek di Kabupaten Probolinggo. Hasil penelitian ini, pertama pengelolaan zakat produktif oleh BAZNAS Kabupaten Probolinggo menggunakan prinsip GAG dan menggunakan sistem manajemen POAC, kedua pengelolaan zakat produktif belum memiliki dampak bagi pengentasan kemiskinan secara materiil, ketiga posisi kemiskinan mustahik zakat produktif dengan model CIBEST, yaitu pada kuadran II artinya  mustahik memiliki kekayaan secara spiritual dan miskin secara material.

Abstract

Productive zakat is one of the instruments in sustainable development related to Islam. Productive zakat is managed in providing businesses to mustahik, so that mustahik zakat does not receive consumable zakat but can be sustainable. So, this research has objectives, first, to explore the role of productive zakat in mustahik economic empowerment, second, to analyze the pattern or model of productive zakat in mustahik entrepreneurship empowerment. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach through a case study, namely in Probolinggo Regency. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. Data validity used source triangulation and technique triangulation. This research results in, first, productive zakat can contribute to the addition of mustahik income and break the chain of mustahik dependence on muzakki, second, productive zakat can empower mustahik entrepreneurship through the Z-Chicken, Z-Auto, the livestock and Batik Craftsmen programs. These programs are able to improve mustahik skills, so that mustahik have an entrepreneurial spirit for sustainable economic development.

Abstract

The variety of MSMEs in Indonesia makes this country rich in innovative products, including fashion products and shows packaged in carnivals. One organization that carries this concept is the Jember Fashion Carnaval Foundation (JFC). During the 16 years of its journey, JFC has made various achievements both at the national and international levels. JFC, the image of the city of Jember, was made the City of International Carnival by the Minister of Tourism. To increase JFC's value and bargaining products necessary to conduct value chain training. The value chain describes the activities in and around the organization and links them to the company's competitive strengths. To achieve the expected understanding of the value chain, the training strategy used the Asset Based Community Development approach. The activities began with observations and interviews, FGDs, and dissemination of material to JFC managers and activists. JFC managers and activities attended this activity. The result of this activity is improving the strategy for the JFC Foundation's competitive advantage. It is helpful to improve JFC's achievements at the national and international levels.

Abstract

Digital transformation in educational services is an important need to improve efficiency and user satisfaction, especially in Islamic boarding schools. One of these innovations is the SISANTRI application used at the Darussalam Blokagung Islamic Boarding School, Banyuwangi, to facilitate the management of information and transactions for guardians of students. However, the effectiveness of this application still faces challenges, such as stagnation in feature development and negative reviews from users.This study aims to analyze the influence of E-Servqual, E-WOM, and E-Trust on E-Customer Satisfaction. Then, analyze the influence of E-Servqual, E-WOM, E-Trust, and E-Customer Satisfaction on customer loyalty. And analyze the role of E-Customer Satisfaction as a mediator of the influence of E-Servqual, E-WOM, and E-Trust on customer loyalty.The research method used is exploratory research and a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 364 guardians of students selected using the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique. The research instrument uses a Likert scale to measure research variables. Then, the collected data is analyzed through several stages, namely determining the value of the variables, testing the research instrument (validity and reliability tests), path analysis using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method, hypothesis testing, and path calculations.The results of the study showed that E-Servqual, E-WOM, and E-Trust significantly influenced E-Customer Satisfaction. In addition, E-Servqual, E-WOM, E-Trust, and E-Customer Satisfaction significantly influenced customer loyalty. Then, customer satisfaction was not able to be a mediating variable between E-Servqual, E-WOM, E-Trust, and customer loyalty, but still contributed to loyalty directly.It can be concluded that improving E-Servqual, E-WOM, and E-Trust is very important to strengthen E-Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty, although E-Customer Satisfaction does not mediate the relationship. Further development should be focused on improving these three main factors that affect customer loyalty.

Abstract

Kegiatan konservasi dan sumberdaya alam hayati dan ekosistemnya berasaskan pelestarian dan kemampuan, serta pemanfaatan sumberdaya alam hayati dan ekosistemnya secara serasi dan seimbang.Asas tersebut merupakan landasan untuk mencapai tujuan, yaitu mengusahakan terwujudnya kelestarian sumberdaya alam hayati serta ekosistemnya dan selanjutnya dapat mendukung peningkatan kesejahteraan serta mutu kehidupan manusia. Tujuan penelitian antara lain : (1) Mengidentifikasi dan mengetahui keterkaitan antara daya dukung lingkungan dengan perubahan pemanfaatan ruang di Jawa Timur, (2) Mengidentifikasi dan mengetahui keterkaitan antara daya dukung lingkungan dalam upaya konservasi SDA dengan lokasi kegiatan manusia (dalam konteks sosial, ekonomi, budaya), dan (3) Membuat model spasial daya dukung lingkungan dalam upaya untuk konservasi sumber daya alam di Jawa Timur, (4) Memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan yang dapat diambil oleh pemerintah provisi Jawa Timur dalam upaya konservasi sumber daya alam di Jawa Timur. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dan kuantitatif deskriptif. Dimana peneliti akan menjabarkan data-data sekunder berupa data curah hujan dan populasi penduduk serta data primer hasil wawancara yang diperoleh dari empat lokasi penelitian yang meliputi (1) Kabupaten Malang, (2) Kabupaten Pasuruan, (3) kabupaten Mojokerto, dan (4) Kabupaten Jombang. Data ini kemudian dianalisis dan diambil kesimpulan. Pembahasan terakhir, terkait dengan rekomendasi/ saran untuk pemerintah provinsi Jawa Timur. Hasil analisis yang dilakukan pada tahun 2010 menunjukkan bahwa luas hutan terbesar berada di Kabupaten Malang yaitu seluas 796,44 km2, diikuti oleh Kabupaten Kediri dan Kabupaten Jombang dengan luas masing-masing 284,69 km2 dan 195,60 km2. Pola ini juga berlaku untuk penggunaan lahan Sawah Irigasi dan Pemukiman.Analisis penggunaan lahan ini sangat diperlukan untuk membuat estimasi seberapa jauh pengaruh faktor-faktor penggunaan lahan ini dapat mempengaruhi tingkat keberadaan kawasan dan tutupan hutan. Luas Sawah Tadah hujan terkait dengan posisi geografisnya dimana pada umumnya sawah tadah hujan terletak di kawasan dengan kelerengan besar (>25%) dan altitude tinggi. Analisis spasial overlay menunjukkan dari batas administratif tingkat Kecamatan dan Kabupaten dengan area Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS), Sub DAS, dan Basin Block untuk mendapatkan luas daerah tangkapan hujan (Catchment Area), Debit aliran air sungai dan ketersediaan air. Kesimpulan kegiatan didapatkan fakta bahwasannya terdapat keterkaitan antara daya dukung lingkungan dengan perubahan pemanfaatan ruang di Taman Hutan Raya dengan indikator curah hujan dan  debit air rata-rata tahunan selama 20 tahun (R2  = 0,52). Terdapat keterkaitan yang cukup besar antara daya dukung lingkungan dalam upaya konservasi sumber daya alam dengan lokasi kegiatan manusia dalam konteks sosial-ekonomi (landuse-pendapatan, R2= 0,63) dan keterkaitan yang rendah terkait sosial- budaya (landuse-tingkat pendidikan, R2= 0,58 dan landuse-jenis pekerjaan, R2= 0,42).
