Abstract

This study held in Pekanbaru in order to analyze consumer’s attitude on product attributes of China celuller. Population are China celuller users in Pekanbaru. Sampling technique accidental sampling is done using the number of respondests 96 people. Data analyzed by using Fishbein Multi Attribute Analysis. This study reveals that most respondents have a negative attitude towards China celuller attributes. The three most positive attitude come from design, packaging and brand. Meanwhile, the three most negative ones are label, features and quality. It is recommended to provide a more clear and comprehenable language in manual instruction book, internally installing additional features to the handset, enhancing the LED and battery quality, expanding internal memory capacity and informing the term and conditions in external application process.Keywords: Attitude, Product Attributes, and Believe

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence analysis advertising creativity, attractiveness and quality of advertising on brand attitude advertising messages on Brand Nokia Mobile Asha in Pekanbaru. Inside The study consisted of a bound variable is the attitude of consumers (Y), and three independent variables consisting of kreatifitasiklan (X1), advertising appeal (X2), and the credibility of the endorser (X3). Study using purposive sampling technique . Population of this study is the Pekanbaru with a sample of 100 respondents . Who has a Nokia mobile phone and or have seen ads on TV Mobile Nokia Asha . Analysis of research data using qualitative methods , quantitative and multiple regression equations with the help of SPSS ( Statistic Services For Product and Solution ) .From the results of this study showed that , Brand Attitude on Mobile Nokia Asha in Pekanbaru is positive can be seen from the calculation of average have a positive value except for the appeal is negative , but overall the three variables have a significant effect .Keywords: Brand Attitudes, Creativity in Advertising, Fascination Advertising, Endorser Credibility.

Abstract

Proficiency in English is essential for refugees as it significantly impacts their integration, social inclusion and self-reliance. In temporary host countries like Indonesia, refugees are keen to learn English before resettlement, but the COVID-19 pandemic hindered this process. Nevertheless, efforts to maintain English education at learning centers continued. What were the experiences of refugees learning English during COVID-19, and how did they navigate access to education amid the pandemic? This qualitative study examines refugees’ experiences in learning English during COVID-19 and their access to education. It focuses on two learning centers managed by Human Initiative (HI), a UNHCR partner organization in Greater Jakarta. Data was collected through interviews with UNHCR staff, Human Initiative employees, refugee students and volunteer teachers, along with class observations. The findings reveal that English instruction functions as a vital support system for refugees. The curriculum was adapted to accommodate their needs, with materials sourced online and Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) methods applied to improve speaking skills. The study also highlights the obstacles faced by students, teachers, and management as well as highlighting their adaptive and flexible strategies for maintaining education in difficult circumstances.
