Abstract

Office ergonomics talk about how to make the work area in the office suitable for people who work and support the work activities they do. Meanwhile, 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke) is a system that makes work activities better and of higher quality. If these two principles are applied properly to an office activity, it will certainly increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the work being carried out. The introduction of the two principles was carried out for Kelurahan X employees. Information was provided through an interactive webinar format through the Zoom Meeting platform. The purpose of this activity is to provide an understanding of the importance of Ergonomics in the office and the importance of implementing 5S to the employees of the X Village office. In the early stages of implementation, information is provided through the lecture method and collects data related to the knowledge that participants currently have using a questionnaire using Google Form, then in the next stage, participants are asked to actively participate in the application of the material that has been presented previously. In the final results of data collection, it was proven that participants had understood the benefits of applying these principles by increasing the percentage of participants' understanding obtained from the final questionnaire

Abstract

Wheelchairs are necessary mobility aids for people with lower-limb disabilities. However, transporting a heavy electric wheelchair in a car presents challenges and can result in injuries to caregivers who assist with loading and unloading. The goal of this study was to create an ergonomic transfer assist that would make it easier and safer to transport wheelchairs into cars. The Avanza Hatchback and electric wheelchair were measured for width, length, base height, and weight. Using this information, a transfer assist with a slanted base was built using ergonomic principles to alleviate physical strain during loading and unloading. The design was also based on the REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) score to determine the optimal posture. This study makes a unique addition because it focuses on specific aids for safe wheelchair transfers into and out of automobiles, where there is currently insufficient research.

Abstract

Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) berperan penting dalam menjamin keselamatan dan promosi kesehatan peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Namun, kondisi ruang UKS SDN 193 Caringin, Bandung belum memenuhi standar kesehatan, ditandai dengan kerusakan fisik ruang dan keterbatasan fasilitas medis. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan merevitalisasi ruang UKS agar layak, aman, dan fungsional. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan proyek kecil dengan tahapan inisiasi, perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pemantauan, serta penutupan dan serah terima. Kegiatan meliputi perbaikan kebocoran dan plafon, pengecatan ruang dan fasilitas UKS, penataan ulang ruang, serta penyediaan perlengkapan kesehatan standar. Hasil revitalisasi menunjukkan ruang UKS telah memenuhi standar dasar kesehatan, lebih nyaman digunakan, dan siap mendukung pelayanan kesehatan sekolah. Revitalisasi ini penting untuk meningkatkan keselamatan siswa, mendukung proses belajar-mengajar, serta memperkuat peran UKS sebagai sarana promotif dan preventif di sekolah dasar.
