Abstract

Promotion is an activity carried out by an entity to influence consumer behavior to try a product or service offered by that entity (A'lawiyyah et al., 2021). A promotional activity required media that can reach a wider audience. The use of Instagram media as the main media for promotional activities is certainly the right choice, taking into account the activities of modern humans at this time that are never separated from gadgets or smartphones. The use of video as an advertisement representation will certainly be very effective in today's digital era. The implementation of this research uses applied methods resulting from research to solve the problems of the IIB Darmajaya visual communication design study program. After obtaining research data, data analysis using the SWOT method is needed to assist in the preparation of marketing content and important components that have been neglected so far. The design method used in this research is pre-production, production, and post-production.

Abstract

Nowadays, the competition among MSMEs is getting tighter. MSMEs in Padang are competing and building a public image so that their brands and products are known by the public. In Padang, Ulak Karang, there is MSMEs with the Faraz brand. It produces snacks, namely cashew nuts. Faraz MSMEs was founded on February 5, 2006, at the beginning the owner did not have a creative idea to have a visual identity for his business. As a graphic expression, visual identity influences the company's development in the future. Visual identity also acts as a promotional tool for a company/business. The research method uses a qualitative approach method. In this approach, there are 2 sources of data, namely primary data and secondary data. The design of the visual identity of the Faraz brand uses the creative mind mapping method, which is a very common method for finding new ideas, which is based on spontaneity and creativity.

Abstract

This type of research is case study research. The data used in this study are primary data. The population is high school students in Lampung province. The sampling technique uses probability sampling techniques, namely Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling using the Slovin formula. Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling is a sampling technique when a population has heterogeneous members or elements and is proportionally stratified. Therefore, the sampling to be taken is high school / vocational students grade 1, 2, and 3 in this study. Furthermore, the measurement of variables in the study used the Semantic Differential Scale with factors of interest, motivation, parental background, expected work, and learning environment as variables.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengembangan kepariwisataan berbasis teknologi digital sangat penting untuk mendukung potensi ekonomi dan pelestarian budaya di Kecamatan Kemiling, Bandarlampung. Oleh karena itu, Program Penguatan Kompetensi Organisasi Kemahasiswaan (PPK Ormawa) IIB Darmajaya bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan Digital (hardskill) dan Tata Kelola Manajemen (softskill) mitra, yaitu komunitas lokal yang terdiri dari 32 peserta Pelaku Pariwisata, UMKM, dan Pelestari Budaya. Metode yang digunakan meliputi Focus Group Discussion (FGD), pelatihan Literasi Digital dan Keamanan Siber, dan Pelatihan Tata Kelola Manajemen. Dalam mengevaluasi kegiatan ini, PPK Ormawa IIB Darmajaya menggunakan angket pre-test dan post-test, menunjukkan peningkatan skor pelatihan literasi digital dari 8.8 ke 8.9 dan pelatihan Tata Kelola Manajemen dari 8.62 ke 8.87. Program ini juga menghasilkan sistem informasi berupa website dan aplikasi mobile untuk mempromosikan potensi lokal, diharapkan dapat memperkuat ekonomi lokal serta mendukung pelestarian budaya.Abstract: The development of digital technology-based tourism is very important to support economic potential and cultural preservation in Kemiling District, Bandarlampung. Therefore, The Organizational Strengthening Program for Student Organizations (Bahasa: Program Penguatan Kompetensi Organisasi Kemahasiswaan or PPK Ormawa) IIB Darmajaya is to improve the Digital Literation skills (hard skills) and Management Governance (soft skills). This activity is local communities consisting of 32 participants (Tourism Enthusiasms, MSMEs, and Culture Enthusiasms). The methods of this activity are Focus Group Discussions (FGD), Digital Literacy and Cybersecurity training, and Management Governance Training. In evaluating this activity, PPK Ormawa IIB Darmajaya uses pre-test and post-test questionnaires. It shows an increase in digital literacy and cybersecurity training scores from 8.8 to 8.9 and Management Governance training from 8.62 to 8.87. This program also produces an information system on website and mobile application to promote local potential to strengthen the local economy and support cultural preservation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to map current and future research on the topic of AI and entrepreneurship. The approach of this study is bibliometric, with secondary data as the data source. The processed articles are 34 articles with published articles in reputable national journals (SCOPUS), where the topics in the articles are business, management, and accounting. The results of the study show that there are nine clusters that are mapped in AI and entrepreneurship research, namely Cluster # 1 shows a focus on advanced technology and data analysis in business innovation, Cluster # 2 relates to industrial innovation and digital transformation in various sectors, Cluster # 3 covers efficiency and desire in multiple sectors through environmental technology and innovation, Cluster # 4 focuses on the development of business models and health technology, as well as innovation in patents and startups, Cluster # 5 focuses on entrepreneurial action and environmental economics, as well as sustainable development, Cluster # 6 relates to business development and entrepreneurial ecosystems through effective decision making, Cluster # 7 emphasizes entrepreneurship education and artificial intelligence-based technological innovation, Cluster # 8 focuses on digital entrepreneurship and digital transformation through a lean startup approach, and Cluster # 9 relates to entrepreneurial skills and risk management in a dynamic business environment.

Abstract

Purpose: The Product Photography Training aims to equip students with practical skills relevant to the creative industry's growth in the digital era. It focuses on developing both basic and advanced photography techniques, enabling students to produce visually appealing and marketable content. Beyond technical proficiency, the program fosters creativity, critical thinking, and innovation in visual expressions. Methodology/approach: The program was conducted in four key stages: preparation, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. The preparation involved school coordination, needs assessment, and development of training materials. The implementation stage delivered theoretical and hands-on training covering camera operation, lighting, and composition. Evaluation was conducted through participant work assessments, engagement tracking, quizzes, and pre- and post-program surveys and interviews. Results/findings: The training significantly improved students’ understanding of product photography, digital content creation and visual marketing strategies. The participants successfully produced quality product images and applied them to promotional content aligned with market trends. The program also enhanced students’ 4Cs—critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration—through real-world visual media application. Conclutions: Training at SMA Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung effectively enhanced students' skills and creativity in product photography. It provides practical experience that supports students’ readiness for the creative industry and contributes to character development in the digital era. Limitations: The program's short duration and limited participant pool restricted the generalizability of the results. The long-term impacts were not assessed. Contribution: This study contributes to educational practice by demonstrating how photography training can develop relevant skills and creativity in students in the context of digital and creative industries.

Abstract

Twitter is one of the social media used by the public to convey their views regarding the government's policy of issuing a Government Regulations in Lieu of Laws (Bahasa: Peraturan Pemerintah Pengganti Undang-undang (Perpu)). The public's pros and cons of this policy are material for sentiment analysis. The purpose of this study was to analyze Twitter users' opinions regarding the Job Creation Perpu using the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Random Forest (RF), and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) methods. The data was 3.128 tweets from Twitter social media users regarding the Government Regulation in Lieu of Law on Job Creation. Based on 3.128 data, 1.599 sentiments were positive, 1.473 sentiments were negative and 53 sentiments were neutral. The results showed that PSO feature optimized Twitter social media sentiment analysis against this regulation. KNN and RF algorithms for sentiment analysis was carried out before and after optimization with PSO. Experimental results using RapidMiner 9.10 showed that PSO feature succeeded in increasing classification accuracy in both algorithms. Before optimization, the KNN accuracy value reached 80.40%, then increased significantly to 85.23% after optimization with PSO was applied. Meanwhile, Random Forest accuracy value before optimization was 77.21% and increased to 80.53% after PSO was applied. This result indicated that the PSO-based KNN algorithm had better performance in conducting sentiment analysis of the Government Regulation in Lieu of Law on Job Creation on Twitter compared to the Random Forest algorithm in the context of this study. It concluded that Random Forest algorithm based on PSO is the best classifier for sentiment analysis and a potential and effective algorithm for classifying and analyzing sentiment on the same topic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi entreprenurial marketing, entrepreneurial orientation, entrepreneurial intention, leadership, value co-creation, smart tourism, dan sustainable tourism performance. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam digunakan dalam teknik pengumpulan data. Narasumber dalam penelitian ini adalah pengelola dari ekowisata yang berbasis ekowisata karst, bahari, hutan, pegunungan, dan flora-fauna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari sisi enteprenurial marketing pengelola sudah menggunakan paket wisata untuk mendorong wisatawan datang berkunjung. Dari segi entrepreneurial orientation dan entrepreneurial intention, bahwa dampak dari ekowisata meningkatkan minat dan orientasi warga sekitar untuk membuat sebuah usaha. Dari segi kepemimpinan dan value co-creation, pemimpin lebih memiliki gaya empowerment atau penguatan bagi masyarakat, serta masyarakat pun mau berkolaborasi bersama sama untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan. Smart tourism juga sudah dimplementasikan dengan baik dengan ekowisata sudah menggunakan teknologi untuk promosi, dan melakukan riset kepuasaan pengunjung untuk menjaga kinerja ekowisata yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kecamatan Kemiling memiliki keunggulan dalam sektor pariwisata, pertanian, dan industri, yang dapat dikembangkan lebih jauh melalui pendekatan inovatif. Hal ini membutuhkan peran mahasiswa dalam Program Pengabdian Organisasi Kemahasiswaan IIB Darmajaya untuk mengembangkan potensi pariwisata berbasis teknologi digital di Kecamatan Kemiling. Namun, perlu adanya dengan mempertimbangkan urgensi terkait kepahaman integrasi teknologi digital untuk memperkuat promosi pariwisata, melestarikan budaya lokal, dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi local. Tahapan pelaksanaan program meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, analisis hasil, dan evaluasi menyeluruh. Salah satu aspek penting dalam program ini adalah pelatihan literasi digital dan keamanan siber yang ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam mengadopsi teknologi secara aman dan efektif. Evaluasi program menunjukkan keberhasilan, dengan peningkatan skor literasi digital peserta dari 8,8 menjadi 8,9 serta peningkatan tata kelola manajemen dari 8,62 ke 8,87, mencerminkan efektivitas pelatihan yang diberikan. Hasil dari program ini diharapkan mampu menciptakan sinergi antara teknologi digital, ekonomi lokal, dan pelestarian budaya. Dengan pendekatan tersebut, program ini diharapkan tidak hanya meningkatkan jumlah wisatawan tetapi juga mendukung keberlanjutan sektor UMKM. Dengan demikian, Program Pengabdian Organisasi Kemahasiswaan di IIB Darmajaya dapat menjadi penggerak utama pembangunan berkelanjutan di Kecamatan Kemiling.

Abstract

A recommendation system is a system that provides suggestions or recommendations to a product or service for its users. One of the problems encountered in the recommendation system is sparsity, namely the lack of available data for analysis, resulting in poor performance of the recommendation system because it cannot provide the proper recommendations. On this basis, this study proposes the mean method and the stochastic hot-deck method to calculate missing values to improve the quality of the recommendations. The experimental results show that the hot-deck imputation method gives better results than the mean imputation method with smaller RMSE and MAE values, namely 2,706 and 2,691.
