Abstract

This research aims to reveal and describe the implementation of sorogan in learning qirā'ah kitab kuning at the Pesantren Al-Luqmaniyyah Yogyakarta. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a case study type. There are primary and secondary data sources, which are collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data was tested using method triangulation techniques and source triangulation. Data analysis was carried out using inductive techniques and presented using descriptive techniques. The findings from this research are that the implementation of sorogan at the Pesantren Al-Luqmaniyyah Yogyakarta is only mandatory for students at the beginning and middle levels, in groups of 3-5 people per supervisor, and the reading provided is adjusted to the class. Supporting factors for the implementation of sorogan are the suitability of sorogan with traditional pesantren, the synergy of pesantren administrators with the education board, the sufficient number and skills of supervisors, the uniform knowledge of students, and the accessibility of learning support references. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the lack of consistency of supervisors, less than optimal preparation of students, unstable motivation to learn, and the many activities outside the pesantren that students also have to participate in. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used as evaluation material for the management of the Pesantren Al-Luqmaniyyah Yogyakakarta, as well as consideration for other pesantren that are or will be implementing the sorogan method in their learning systems.

Abstract

The Subdivision of Participation and Public Relations (PR) of the General Election Commission (KPU) of East Java Province (Jatim) has an important role in every institution because it is one of the roles in shaping a positive image for each institution. In shaping the image of an institution, public relations has a strong relationship with the media. The research aims to find out how the role of public relations of the East Java KPU in shaping the image of the East Java KPU. This type of research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that the division of the Participation and Public Relations Subdivision of the East Java KPU is by utilizing social media and the East Java KPU Website. In the social media of East Java KPU, there are several contents to provide information such as news photos, infographics, comics, public service advertisements. In addition to social media content, the East Java KPU has content on the Website such as news of activities that can be accessed by the public

Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of sexual knowledge and sexual awareness among students and assess the impact of the sexual awareness and self-defense program on madrasah tsanawiyah students. The researcher implemented a sexual awareness and self-defense program through sexual psychoeducation for madrasah tsanawiyah students.  This research employs an experimental design known as the One Group Pre-test – Post-test Design. Data were collected through data collection instruments or scales measuring sexual knowledge and sexual awareness. The research findings the average scores of sexual knowledge and sexual awareness abilities showed an increase from pre-test to post-test. In the pre-test, the average score for these abilities was 13.33, whereas in the post-test, the abilities of students who had undergone the psychoeducational program on sexual awareness and self-defense improved to an average of 23.05. There is a noticeable mean difference that indicates improvement following the implementation of the sexual awareness and self-defense program. The Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test conducted on the results yielded a z-value of 7.540 with a probability/significance level of 0.000 (p value ? 0.05).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh Word of Mouth dan Brand Awareness terhadap keputusan pembelian makanan di ShopeeFood. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisis utamanya adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling non probability sampling model purposive sampling. Kuesioner yang telah disusun sesuai dengan indikator-indikator dari tiga variabel penelitian diberikan kepada 200 mahasiswa aktif pada perguruan tinggi di Surabaya. Hasil  analisis data penelitian menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics 25 menunjukkan bahwa variabel Word of Mouth (X1) dari jasa pesan-antar makanan ShopeeFood mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Y) responden yang berstatus sebagai mahasiswa di Surabaya. Begitu juga dengan Brand Awareness (X2) dari jasa pesan-antar makanan ShopeeFood mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Y) responden yang berstatus sebagai mahasiswa di Surabaya. Secara simultan, Word of Mouth (X1) dan Brand Awareness (X2) juga berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian makanan di ShopeeFood bagi mahasiswa perguruan tinggi di Surabaya.

Abstract

Indonesia, as one of the most populous countries in the world, presents a potential market for the growth of various types of social media. However, the rapid penetration of social media has not been matched by a good level of literacy among its users, leading to a tendency for social media use to have negative implications. The literacy instruments used to measure media literacy certainly need a quality analysis to ensure that the instruments developed can indeed measure what they intend to measure. Rasch Model instrument analysis can be a way to assess the quality of the developed instruments. This study is a developmental research aimed at developing a media literacy instrument. The analysis in this article is conducted to describe the quality of the media literacy instrument that has been developed. The subjects in this study are 421 response patterns to a set of questionnaire statements consisting of 25 items on a Likert scale with four alternative answers. Based on the research conducted, it was found that out of the 25 items tested, they have good validity and reliability. However, among the 25 statements tested, there are 4 statements that are considered less fit or less effective in measuring media literacy indicators. Out of 421 respondents, 17.58% of respondents have high literacy skills, 72.2% have moderate media literacy skills, and the remaining 10.2% have low media literacy.

Abstract

The function of pesantren is indeed as a place to gain religious knowledge (tafaqquh fi ad-dīn), but it cannot be denied that pesantren have great potential in the economy. Considering this potential, pesantren should prepare their cadres to become reliable and skilled resources in order to realize the economic independence of the pesantren. It is not enough for the development of santri resources to be equipped with entrepreneurship skills alone and without managerial skills, especially financial management skills. Therefore, santri need to obtain good financial literacy education so that they are competent in increasing the economic independence of the pesantren. This study aims to provide an overview of financial literacy education for santri in welcoming the economic independence of pesantren. As a conceptual scientific article, this study relies on exploration of various sources related to financial literacy and economic independence of pesantren. Based on the studies that have been conducted, it is concluded that financial literacy education for santri as an initial step towards the economic independence of pesantre can be carried out in three stages, namely: the introduction stage through the introduction of concepts and financial literacy material adapted to fiqh al-mu'āmalāt material; the application stage through extracurricular activities and khidmah in pesantren, and the development stage through programs to increase environmental involvement and pesantren collaboration with the community, leaders, institutions, and business actors.

Abstract

As an effort to create an active, fun, and productive learning atmosphere so that students can be equipped with strong critical thinking skills that are ready to be applied in everyday life, this research was conducted in class IV of Al-Chusnaini Islamic Elementary School Sidoarjo involving 28 students as subjects. The research process took place in two cycles, each of which consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through quantitative analysis using observation, tests, and documentation. The tests given measured problem solving skills in Indonesian language subjects, while observations were made to monitor the learning process. The independent variable in this study is the Problem Based Learning model, while the dependent variable is students' critical thinking skills. The results showed a significant increase, with the average value of students' critical thinking skills increasing from 74.32 in the first cycle to 94.75 in the second cycle. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning model is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills on the material of fact and opinion sentences in class IV of Al-Chusnaini Islamic Elementary School Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Seni Budaya berperan penting dalam mengembangkan kreativitas, apresiasi estetika, dan karakter siswa. Namun, hasil observasi menunjukkan masih ada siswa yang memperoleh nilai di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) dan kurang termotivasi karena metode pembelajaran konvensional yang membuat mereka pasif. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa melalui penerapan metode Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus yang mencakup tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas Seni Budaya sekolah dasar, dengan instrumen tes hasil belajar, angket motivasi, lembar observasi, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai siswa meningkat dari 85,37 (ketuntasan 88,9%) pada pra-siklus menjadi 89,59 (96,3%) pada siklus I, dan 92,52 (96,3%) pada siklus II. Selain peningkatan kognitif, motivasi, partisipasi, dan kerja sama siswa juga berkembang. Dengan demikian, TGT efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa pada pembelajaran Seni Budaya

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum has been gradually implemented across all levels of education in Indonesia since 2022 as a response to the need for more flexible, collaborative, and student-centered learning. However, its implementation at the elementary school level faces various challenges, both in terms of resource readiness and stakeholder acceptance. These obstacles, if not identified and addressed, have the potential to hinder the core objectives of the Merdeka Curriculum in improving education quality. Yet, few studies have synthesized these challenges comprehensively across recent empirical work, particularly at the elementary level, highlighting a research gap and the need for a consolidated overview that may contribute to curriculum implementation theory in elementary education. This study aims to identify and classify the barriers to the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in elementary schools through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Literature searches were conducted using Publish or Perish 7 and VOSviewer, with the keyword “Kurikulum Merdeka Sekolah Dasar” applied to Google Scholar–indexed articles published between 2022 and 2024. From 500 articles retrieved, 29 met the eligibility criteria for analysis. The findings reveal that the implementation constraints fall into three main categories: (1) facilities, including limited infrastructure, lack of technological devices, and insufficient funding for teaching aids; (2) teachers, particularly inadequate training and mentoring for transforming teaching practices; and (3) students, parents, and the environment, such as parental resistance to curriculum changes. The results enrich perspectives on curriculum implementation and teacher change by showing how structural limitations and incomplete professional learning restrict the realization of student-centered reform at the classroom level.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of religious habituation activities and their role in shaping the religious character of students at Al Chusnaini Islamic Elementary School located in Sidoarjo Regency. The research used a qualitative approach with an ethnographic type. Ethnography is research that focuses on describing and understanding the culture of a group comprehensively through long-term participant observation. Data collection techniques were carried out through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with supervising teachers, classroom teachers, and documentation during the four-month teaching assistance activities. The results of the study indicate that religious practices carried out regularly and consistently, such as congregational prayers, recitation of the Qur'an, and communal prayers, are able to instill religious values such as discipline, honesty, responsibility, and politeness in students. Supporting factors for success include the involvement of teachers as role models, a conducive school environment, and the role of parents. Meanwhile, the main challenges stem from a lack of awareness among students, differences in family backgrounds, and negative influences from the outside environment. Thus, religious habituation is an effective strategy in religious character education if it is implemented in an integrated and sustainable manner.
