Abstract

Matematika merupakan mata pelajaran yang memerlukan konsentrasi dan keseriusan yang tinggi bahkan memerlukan waktu yang lama untuk memahaminya karena bentuk dari matematika yang abstrak dan penuh dengan simbol-simbol yang terkadang sulit dipahami. Mungkin inilah salah satu alasan mengapa matematika tidak disukai bahkan terkadang dibenci oleh para siswa.Banyak cara yang dilakukan oleh para guru agar siswa mudah dalam memahami matematika, yaitu dengan memilih metode, alat peraga atau cara alternative lainnya dalam mengajar matematika dengan harapan siswa jadi mudah dalam memahami matematika. Salah satu caranya yaitu dengan menggunakan aplikasi Macromedia Flash 8. Flash merupakan salah satu  produk andalan macromedia yang cukup banyak digunakan saat ini.Banyak sekali situs yang menggunakan Flash sebagai software pendukung, atau bahkan juga  sebagai software utama dalam pembuatan web,selain sebagai software  pembuat animasi. Kemampuan Flash cukup popular di kalangan para pembuat animasi dan aplikasiweb yang menarik.Versi Flash terbaru pada saat ini adalah Macromedia Flash 8 yang menyediakan berbagai hal baru yang bukan saja semakin menyempurnakan fitur-fitur yang ada  pada versi sebelumnya, tetapi juga menyediakan fitur-fitur yang sama sekali baru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh penggunaan Macromedia Flash 8 pada materi fungsi komposisi dan invers terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, lalu sebesar apa pengaruhnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Metode penelitian kuantitatif adalah suatu cara untuk memperoleh ilmu pengetahuan atau memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi dan dilakukan secara hati-hati dan sistematis, dimana data-data yang dikumpulkan berupa rangkaian atau kumpulan angka-angka.Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran melalui penerapan Macromedia Flash 8  dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada materi fungsi komposisi dan invers. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, secara umum mengindikasikan penerapan Macromedia Flash 8 dapat meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik pada materi fungsi komposisi dan invers kelasXI TO SMK Ma’arif Pangenan Kabupaten Cirebon dengan baik menunjukkan penambahan penerapan Macromedia Flash 8 dalam pembelajaran sebanyak 1 jam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 0.564. serta   mampu  untuk  terus  meningkatkan  aktivitas  dan pemahaman  konsep  peserta  didik.Kata kunci            : Media Pembelajaran, AplikasiMacromedia Flash 8, Motivasi belajar.

Abstract

Research on the development of interactive video learning media with the theme Always Save Energy was carried out based on the needs of SD NU Sleman which requires interesting media to support students' literacy needs. The research was conducted with the aim of developing interactive video learning media with the theme of always saving energy, knowing the literacy skills of students in class IV through interactive video learning media, and testing the feasibility level of the resulting media. The type of research in this research is development or Research and Development using the 4-D model, which consists of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The population in the study amounted to 66 people. The research instrument used to determine the feasibility of the media used media and language validation sheets which were carried out for 3 class teachers. The instrument used to determine students' literacy skills used questionnaires filled in by students after completing activities on learning media and questions contained in the game. The data analysis technique in this study was seen from the average feasibility score in terms of material and media, which was 85.75%, which was very feasible. While the literacy analysis is seen from the scores of students' literacy questionnaires. The mean value of the literacy questionnaire was obtained at 93.7%, which is in the very good category. This study concluded that interactive video learning media with the theme of always saving energy is very suitable for use in the learning process and is proven to be able to improve students' literacy skills. Interactive video learning media encourages students to be more enthusiastic in learning the content of the material and is able to improve literacy skills in terms of reading instructions as well as reading material. Interactive video learning media encourages students to better understand the learning material as seen from the test results in the game

Abstract

The rapid development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the 21st century has influenced various aspects of people’s lives, one of which is in the educational field. ICT has a vital role in the development of learning systems. This study aims to analyze the elementary school students’ ICT literacy skills in the border area of Cirebon Regency. The research method used was a survey method with a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques utilized a questionnaire. The research sample consisted of 157 grade V elementary school students in the Sedong Sub-district located on the border of Cirebon Regency, Indonesia. The results showed that 82% of students had ICT devices, such as laptops, smartphones, or tablets, with 61% of students accustomed to using ICT devices in their daily lives for between 2-6 hours per day. However, the students’ ICT literacy level was still at level 1 out of 6 levels. Only 32% of students used ICT devices to find information as needed, and 27% of students utilized ICT devices for discussion about learning. Students used it more for entertainment, such as listening to music, watching videos, playing games, and joking with their friends on social media. In this case, students need guidance and direction in using ICT devices to be used as needed in daily life even though they are in the border area between regions. This study’s benefit is to see the percentage of elementary school students’ ICT literacy level as a preliminary study for other ongoing studies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh motivasi kinerja guru yang dapat ditingkatkan melalui servant leadership dan insentif. Peningkatan motivasi kinerja dalam penelitian ini diteliti menggunakan variabel bebas Servant Leadership dan insentif yang akan diuji pengaruhnya secara simultan dan pengaruhnya secara parsial dari masing-masing variabel bebas dengan menjadikan Motivasi kinerja sebagai variabel terikat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan jenis kausal. Metode kuantitatif kausal adalah hubungan yang bersifat sebab-akibat. Jadi, dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua jenis variabel, yaitu variabel independen (variabel yang mempengaruhi) dan variabel dependen (variabel yang dipengaruhi). Tempat penelitian di Sekolah Banbuketa yang beralamat kampung Banbuketa No. 2, T. Lochut, A. Waeng, Ch. Narathiwat, SelatanThailand. Subyek yang diteliti adalah seluruh guru sebanyak 42 orang responden (sampling jenuh). Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Analisis Deskriptif, Uji Asumsi Klasik, Analisis Inferensial, Uji Koefisien Determinasi, dan Uji Hipotesis. Kedua variabel, Servant Leadership (X1) dan Insentif (X2), secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Motivasi Kinerja (Y). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil uji F dimana nilai Fhitung sebesar 19.404 melebihi nilai F-tabel (3.232) pada taraf signifikansi 0.05. Selain itu, nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0.499 menunjukkan bahwa 49.9% variasi dalam Motivasi Kinerja dapat dijelaskan oleh kedua variabel bebas tersebut. Akhir dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi ke[ala sekolah untuk mengembangkan Servant Leadership dan insentif. Motivasi kinerja juga diharapkan lebih ditngkatkan".

Abstract

Permasalahan yang sering terjadi dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia adalah siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami isi bacaan. Salah satu faktor yang menjadi penyebab masalah tersebut adalah kurangnya inovasi pembelajaran dari guru. Melalui program pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pembelajaran melalui big book, siswa diharapkan lebih tertarik dan meningkat pemahaman bacaannya. Lokasi dan sasaran pengabdian ini adalah siswa kelas III SD IT Budi Mulyo. Metode yang digunakan untuk pelaksanaan pangabdian ini meliputi Need Assessment, Riset dan Pengembangan Big Book, Pemetaan Kemampuan Awal Siswa, Pelaksanaan Big Book in Class, dan evaluasi. Pelaksanaan penggunaan media big book diawali dengan menanyakan ke siswa untuk memprediksi isi cerita dalam big book. Selanjutnya mahasiswa memberikan contoh membaca big book dan siswa membaca isi cerita pada setiap halaman. Kegiatan terakhir yaitu melakukan refleksi isi bacaan tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil rata-rata nilai pre-test siswa adalah 58,64 kemudian hasil rata-rata nilai post-test siswa adalah 77.73. Dari hasil tersebut disimpulkan bahwa setelah melaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakan media big book kemampuan siswa dalam memahami bacaan meningkat.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the attitudes of elementary school students in the DIY province towards STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) based on gender and student environment. The research design employed is quantitative research using a comparative method. The research sample consists of 187 students from the sixth grade, including 5 elementary schools in the Kulon Progo district and 5 elementary schools in Yogyakarta city. The research findings indicate that (1) the attitudes of male elementary school students in DIY towards STEM are 21.65% in the high category and 78.35% in the moderate category. The attitudes of female elementary school students in DIY towards STEM are 18.89% in the high category and 81.11% in the moderate category. (2) The attitudes of rural elementary school students in DIY towards STEM are 15.48% in the high category and 84.52% in the moderate category. The attitudes of urban elementary school students in DIY towards STEM are 24.27% in the high category and 75.73% in the moderate category. (3) There is no significant difference in the attitudes of elementary school students in DIY towards STEM based on gender differences; the average attitudes of both are in the moderate category. (4) There is no significant difference in the attitudes of rural and urban elementary school students towards STEM; the average attitudes of both towards STEM are categorized as moderate.

Abstract

This study aims to map the distribution of research in the field of early childhood education based on author affiliation, methodology and research themes. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques used in the research is documentation or document review, supported by interviews to find out the publication of research results in the Golden Age Journal, whether it is in accordance with scientific journal accreditation standards and building research mapping and scientific journal publications. With the Content Analysis, the following results were found: The Golden Age Journal has also implemented online journal management using the Open Journal System (OJS) version 3, by referring to the national journal accreditation guidelines, but it has not fully met the journal accreditation standards so it needs to be improved, by expanding it. the aspirations of the area both authors and managers, as well as the development of research themes that have good novelty.

Abstract

In addition to providing convenience and a positive impact on children, the internet also has risks or negative impacts if not used wisely. One of the negative impacts is risky online behavior. The predictor that can predict risky online behavior is digital literacy. This study examines and analyzes the effect of digital literacy (X1) on risky online behavior (Y) of early adolescent students in the Province of D.I. Yogyakarta. This causal correlational study using a cross-sectional survey collected data through an online questionnaire using the Google Form application which was distributed to respondents voluntarily. This research was conducted from June to August 2022 with a total of 304 respondents. The research process includes the preparation of instruments, instrument feasibility tests, data collection through online questionnaires, tabulation, and data analysis. The digital literacy scale is adapted from Rodríguez-de-Dios, Igartua, González-Vázquez plus Brian O'Neill Thuy Dinh and Hui Zhang Chang Zhu. Meanwhile, risky online behavior is measured using the Adityar scale. The results showed that digital literacy proved to have a significant effect on the risky online behavior prevention variable. The majority of subjects are in the category of having high/good digital literacy and having low-risk online behavior. However, even though digital literacy tends to be high, coaching and efforts to increase digital literacy for elementary school-aged youth need to be implemented as optimally as possible to further prevent children from being exposed to risky online behavior.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi robotika yang pesat mendorong pentingnya pendidikan robotika sejak dini. Namun, minat belajar robotika pada anak usia sekolah dasar di Indonesia masih rendah. Penelitian ini mengkaji motivasi dan hambatan siswa sekolah dasar dalam belajar robotika di Autobot School. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan teknik purposive sampling terhadap dua siswa, dua guru, dan dua orang tua. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa, orang tua, dan pengajar memiliki harapan tinggi terkait pencapaian dan kontribusi masa depan di bidang robotika, yang sesuai dengan teori kebutuhan McClelland yaitu kebutuhan akan prestasi, kebutuhan akan kekuasaan dan kebutuhan akan afiliasi. Selain motivasi juga terdapat hambatan seperti faktor fisiologis, psikologis, metode belajar, dan kondisi lingkungan yang dapat mempengaruhi efektivitas pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya, pencapaian optimal dalam pembelajaran robotika memerlukan integrasi motivasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan psikologis siswa dan penanganan efektif terhadap berbagai hambatan internal dan eksternal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the level of IQ (Intelligence Quotient) and the dominance of Multiple Intelligence on student learning outcomes in educational psychology courses at the PGSD department of UNU Yogyakarta. Using a quantitative approach with a correlational design, this study involved 46 students using simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires measuring IQ variables, multiple intelligences, and learning outcomes. The results of the analysis using the Pearson correlation test show that there is a positive and significant relationship between IQ and learning outcomes, with a correlation value of 0.873 (87.3%), which indicates that the higher the IQ score, the higher the learning outcomes obtained by students. The normality test shows that the residual data meets the assumption of normality with an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.126, which is greater than 0.05, indicating that the regression model used is valid. This study confirms that IQ serves as an important predictor of academic success, and an understanding of multiple intelligences can help in designing more effective learning strategies. The implications of this study show the importance of an inclusive educational approach, which considers different types of intelligence to support students' holistic development. This research is expected to provide insights for educators in creating learning environments that are more adaptive and responsive to students' needs.
