Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the employee performance of fish-based food processing industries in West Java, which driven by variables of organizational culture, job satisfaction and motivation. The fishing industry in Indonesia has resulted in huge foreign exchange. On the other hand, their products are still poor quality and do not meet export standard. This is likely due to low employee performance. The research object were employees of three fish-based food processing plants. The sample was selected by simple random sampling technique. This study revealed different results from previous studies, that only organizational culture has an effect on employee performance. While job satisfaction and motivation has no effect on performance. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji kinerja karyawan industri pengolahan makanan berbasis ikan di wilayah Jawa Barat, yang dipengaruhi dari variabel budaya organisasi, kepuasan kerja dan motivasi. Industri perikanan di Indonesia telahmenghasilkan devisa negara besar. Disisi lain, hasil produknya masih banyak yang belum memenuhi standar ekspor dan bermutu rendah. Hal tersebut kemungkinan dikarenakan kinerja karyawan yang rendah. Objek penelitian ini adalah karyawan dari tiga pabrik pengolahan makanan berbasis ikan. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan hasil yang berbeda dari penelitian sebelumnya. Dari ketiga variabel independen, hanya budaya organisasi yang berpengaruh pada kinerja karyawan. Sedangkan kepuasan kerja dan motivasi tidak berpengaruh.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah mekanisme tata kelola perusahaan, khususnya ukuran dewan direktur, kepemilikan saham oleh direktur, dan jender, berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan perbankan di Indonesia. Pada penelitian ini, kami menggunakan sampel 16 bank (45 observasi) yang terdaftar di bursa efek Indonesia antara tahun 2011 dan 2014. Metode analisis yang digunakan ialah regresi fixed effects dan random effects. Dikontrol oleh variabel ukuran perusahaan, hutang, dan pertumbuhan perusahaan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemilikan saham direktur berpengaruh signifikan kepada ROA dan Tobin’s Q. Sedangkan jumlah dewan direktur dan keberadaan wanita dalam dewan direktur tidak berpengaruh.

Abstract

Abstract The objectives of this research are 1)to examine the effect of firm performance on executive compensation, 2)to investigate the effect of corporate governance on executive compensation, and 3)to find out the effect of execu-tive characteristics on executive compensation. Sample of this research consists of 46 firms (157 observations) listed on Kompas100 index between 2010 and 2013. Controlling for firm size, the results show that 1)ROA has positive and significant effect on executive compensation, but NPM and Tobins Q do not, 2)institutional ownership and independent commissioner do not have significant effect on executive compensation, and 3)ex-ecutive age and gender do not have significant effect on executive compensation.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of institutional ownership and executive compensation on company performance in the food and beverage industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014-2018. The variables used in this study are institutional ownership and executive compensation as independent variables, company performance (proxied by Tobin's Q, ROA, and ROE) as the dependent variable, as well as company size, leverage (proxied by DAR), and company age as the dependent variable. . This study uses annual report data and financial statements of food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2014-2018 period. The sampling method used was the purposive sampling method, using balanced panel data as a method of data analysis. The results of this study indicate that institutional ownership has a significant positive effect on company performance (on Tobin's Q proxy) and insignificant (on the proxy of ROA and ROE), and executive compensation does not have a significant effect on company performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACT MELATI WIDIANTIKA, 2021; The Effect of Return Perception, Motivation, Financial Literacy and Income on Investment Interest of Bachelor Degree Students, Class of 2016 and 2017 at State University of Jakarta, 2021. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of financial literacy, motivation, return perception, and income on investment interest in FE UNJ students, to analyze financial literacy, motivation, perceived return, and income on investment interest in 2016 and 2017 undergraduate students in FE UNJ. The research model used in this study uses descriptive analysis. This research was conducted on 754 students registered as active on bachelor degree students, class of 2016 and 2017 in FE UNJ Study Program, using probability sampling techniques. The data collection technique used a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 261 respondents. The results of SPSS show that there is a significant influence on the perception of return, motivation, financial literacy, and income on investment interest. The results of SPSS showed a significant influence of motivation on investment interest, but on the other hand, the result showing that insignificant between return perception, financial literacy, and income on investment interest. The implications of this research are practical implications and theoretical implications. Practical implications regarding investment interest research are expected to help students, lecturers, faculties, and universities, in providing investment information, providing easy access to information and communication through cooperative relationships between faculty and securities companies, stock exchanges, and interested parties. and similar activities. The theoretical implication of the results of this study is to provide information in the development of knowledge in the fields of financial management, monetary economics, financial literacy, and sharia investment management. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the abnormal returns before and after the announcement of mergers and acquisitions in the companies listed on the IDX 2018. In this study the observation period taken was three days before and after the announcement of mergers and acquisitions with the number of samples observed were 9 companies. The method for calculating abnormal returns used is the market adjusted return by using an intraday stock price of 15 minutes. Based on testing hypotheses conducted by paired sample t-test, it was found that there were no significant differences in abnormal returns before and after the announcement of mergers and acquisitions in each 15 minute period.

Abstract

Dalam beberapa dekade ini, topik penelitian mengenai tata kelola perusahaan menarik banyak perhatian dari para peneliti/akademisi di dunia termasuk di Indonesia. Berbeda dari kebanyakan penelitian sebelumnya di Indonesia, peneliti menggunakan frekuensi rapat dewan direktur dan jender (direktur wanita) sebagai determinan pada studi ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh frekuensi rapat dewan direktur dan gender dalam dewan direksi terhadap kinerja perbankan. Sampel penelitian ini meliputi 19 bank yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia antara tahun 2011 dan 2013. Metode analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah regresi panel least square (PLS) dengan menggunakan data panel tidak berimbang (48 observasi). Kinerja perusahaan diukur dengan Tobin’s Q (pengukuran pasar) dan return on assets (pengukuran akuntansi). Dikontrol oleh ukuran perusahaan, utang dan pertumbuhan, hasil regresi menunjukkan bahwa 1) frekuensi rapat dewan direktur memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan yang diukur dengan return on asset, tapi tidak signifikan ketika kinerja perusahaan diukur dengan Tobin’s Q, 2) jender tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan baik diukur dengan return on asset maupun Tobin’s Q, 3) variabel kontrol (ukuran perusahaan, hutang, dan pertumbuhan perusahaan) tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan kepada return on assets, namun hutang dan pertumbuhan perusahaan berpengaruh signifikan kepada Tobin’s Q. Ukuran perusahaan tidak mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap Tobin’s Q.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL) dan suku bunga SBI terhadap penyaluran kredit pada Bank Umum Go Public di Indonesia periode 2008-2012. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah 22 bank.  Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi data panel dengan pendekatan fixed effect. Dari hasil pengujian terbukti bahwa secara parsial DPK berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penyaluran kredit perbankan. CAR berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap penyaluran kredit perbankan, sedangkan NPL dan suku bunga SBI berpengaruh negatif namun tidak signifikan. Secara simultan DPK, CAR, NPL dan suku bunga SBI berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penyaluran kredit perbankan.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Masyarakat yang dilaksanakan dengan melakukan pelatihan perencanaan keuangan didasari oleh rendahnya literasi keuangan keluarga di masyarakat. Rendahnya literasi keuangan menyebabkan beberapa permasalahan keuangan dalam rumah tangga seperti tingginya pengeluaran daripada pendapatan atau tingginya tingkat utang. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pelatihan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan keluarga dalam merencanakan keuangannya khususnya Ibu rumah tangga. Ibu rumah tangga memiliki andil besar dalam pengelolaan keuangan keluarga. Peserta pelatihan merupakan anggota Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana Dephubdam Kodam Jaya. Metode yang digunakan merupakan penyampaian materi oleh narasumber yang sesuai dengan bidangnya dimana terdapat diskusi interaktif sebelum dan sesudah penyampain materi. Selain itu, terdapat evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengetahui adanya peningkatan dalam pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan pelatihan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peserta mengetahui bagaimana mengelola keuangan secara sederhana. Selain itu melalui pre-test dan post-test yang diberikan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta tentang persentase ideal untuk utang, pengeluaran, tabungan, dan investasi yang dimiliki dalam keuangan keluarga.
