Abstract

Fire disaster is one of the disasters that is very detrimental to the community both in terms of casualties and property and assets that are invaluable. Building A University of Semarang (USM) and the assets in it are very important things to maintain. Several USM buildings have been equipped with facilities regarding fire preparedness, but most of the USM buildings also do not have these facilities completely. Apart from the facilities, the building occupants' knowledge of fire disaster preparedness cannot yet be known to what extent their understanding is. Evaluation of infrastructure which refers to the standards set by the government needs to be carried out. This can increase awareness and can also minimize losses that can occur. So that activities that take place in the USM area can run well and calmly. There is a significant relationship with a strong enough to strong and positive direction correlation level between the combination of the relationship between 2 variables consisting of HR, Program, and Facilities variables. The residents of building A USM are considered to be ready to face the risk of fire disasters, although the current condition of supporting facilities for fire disaster preparedness is deemed necessary to be added. Abstract

One of the sciences, technologies and arts that is in line with the demands of the times and demands in the industrial world, is technical drawing using the AutoCAD program. Based on the specific objectives of Vocational Secondary Education (SMK) according to Law No. 20 of 2003 it is necessary to carry out AutoCAD training for vocational school students.. The methods used in this community service are teaching and practice methods. The result of community service is that partners gain a level of understanding in AutoCAD theory as well as the use of AutoCAD applications in building structures. This can be seen from the results of the pre-test and post-test with the value from 35% to 65% after the introduction and training of AutoCAD.

Abstract

Air bersih adalah suatu elemen yang sangat dibutuhkan oleh semua makhluk hidup, karena air merupakan sumber daya yang sangat penting untuk menunjang kebutuhan pokok manusia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penanganan pada sektor air bersih menjadi hal wajar untuk di priorotaskan karena hal tersebut menyangkut kebutuhan banyak orang. Ketersediaan air bersih sangat berpengaruh pada pemenuhuan kebutuhan air bersih. Ketersediaan air bersih bersumber dari air tanah dan air permukaan yang dapat disediakan oleh sungai, mata air, waduk dan bendung. Seperti diketahui kebutuhan air bersih yang sangat dibutuhkan dan berkelanjutan maka penyediaan dan pengembangan mengenai kebutuhan air bersih menjadi suatu keharusan yang tidak dapat terabaikanAnalisa Proyeksi Jumlah Penduduk Analisis Kebutuhan Air Bersih hasil analisis kebutuhan pertumbuhan penduduk dan kebutuhan air bersih selama 15 tahun kedepan 1. Dari perhitungan prediksi laju pertumbuhan penduduk pada tahun 2037 untuk menghitung kebutuhan air bersih di wilayah Kelurahan Pudakpayung sebesar 27.697 jiwa. 2. Analisis kebutuhan air bersih pada tahun 2037 berdasarkan jumlah penduduk di Kelurahan Pudakpayung sebesar 38,1735 liter/detik. 3. Dari hasil analisis prediksi pertumbuhan penduduk dan analisis kebutuhan air bersih, maka dengan adanya pembangunan Instalasi Pengelolaan Air Bersih dengan kapasitas 100 liter/detik, dapat memenuhi kebutuhan air selama 15 tahun yaitu pada tahun 2037.

Abstract

Pemerintah Kota Semarang berkolaborasi dalam menangani banjir dan rob. Beberapa projek besar seperti jalan tol tanggul laut, pembuatan kolam retensi dan rumah pompa, normalisasi sungi, pembuatan tampungan embung di daerah hulu. Infrastruktur tersebut sifatnya hanya menahan, memindahkan, dan menampung dengan kapasitas serta durasi yang terbatas. Dengan adanya Pipa Resapan Horisontal (PRH) yang sudah terpasang maka perlu adanya evaluasi terhadap beberapa aspek. Dalam penelitian ini aspek yang akan ditinjau adalah evaluasi dari segi pemasangan PRH, sudah memenuhi standar teknis atau belum. Peneliti akan melakukan evaluasi fisik pemasangan yang ada di lokasi Kecamatan Gajahmungkur sebanyak 52 titik. Berdasarkan penilaian fisik dan pembobotan maka diperoleh hasil pada Lokasi Gajahmungkur kondisinya adalah cukup dengan nilai 8087.5 atau 80,87%. Perlu adanya aktivitas operasional dan maintenance pada masing-masing PRH seperti membersihkan sedimen yang ada didalam PRH dengan melakukan flushing, atau pengangkatan pipa PRH, agar PRH dapat berfungsi secara efektif. Perlu dilakukan evaluasi efektivitas resapan lanjutan terhadap PRH yang sudah terpasang.

Abstract

Seiring bertambahnya penduduk di Kota Semarang, berdampak pada meningkatnya produksi sampah di kota tersebut. Terbukti dengan kapasitas Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) Jatibarang berkurang kurang secara signifikan. Penutupan sampah dengan bahan geotekstil kedap air (woven) mengakibatkan air hujan langsung menjadi limpasan atau runoff. Jika debit runoff melebihi kapasitas tampungan drainase, maka dapat mengakibatkan akses jalan TPA Jatibarang menjadi cepat rusak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk evaluasi kapasitas tampungan drainase rencana dalam menampung debit rencana Kawasan TPA Jatibarang. Metode Rasional digunakan sebagai perhitungan debit rencana, sedangkan kapasitas saluran drainase dihitung berdasarkan Metode Manning. Drainase TPA Jatibarang direncanakan menggunakan saluran tipe U-Ditch dengan dimensi . Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan debit rencana, maka didapatkan debit rencana kala ulang 2 tahun (Q2) dan 5 tahun (Q5) secara berurutan sebesar 5,03 m³/det dan 6,45 m³/det. Hasil pengecekan kapasitas saluran rencana menunjukkan bahwa saluran mampu menampung debit hingga 6,53 m3/det. Kapasitas maksimum saluran drainase rencana TPA Jatibarang telah melebihi atau mampu menampung Q2 dan Q5 yang terjadi di Kawasan TPA Jatibarang.

Abstract

Global warming arises due to environmental damage that coincides with one of the causes of building construction projects. Hence, green construction is a solution to minimize the negative impact of development construction projects. This study aims to determine the application of green construction in the Jragung dam, Semarang construction project. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire survey of respondents from 50 workers from 5 companies (contractors) involved in the construction of the Jragung dam, Semarang. Data analysis was carried out using statistical descriptive analysis methods. The results showed that in the Jragung dam construction project, Semarang, the contractors as the executors and persons in charge of the project had applied the green construction concept even though it has yet to be maximized. The application of green construction based on six assessment indicators has a percentage of 53%-98%. PT Wijaya Karya is a project contractor who has implemented Green construction with the highest percentage of 81%, followed by PT Wijaya Karya. Waskita Karya (79%) and PT Brantas Abipraya (77%), while the other two contractors are PT Pelita Nusa Perkasa (68%) and PT Basuki Rahmanta Putra (66%) is ranked in the bottom 2 in applying green construction in the Jragung dam construction project, Semarang.

Abstract

Irrigation is an effort to drain water from the source to agricultural land to meet the water needs of the land. Irrigated Area (I.A.) East Glapan needs help in the form of channels that carry too much mud or sediment material, thus hindering water distribution to the farthest lands. The lack of optimal mud bag building in the primary channel causes this. Based on these problems, it is necessary to check the effectiveness of the East Glapan I.A. mud bag. The analysis stage involves sediment sample tests and sediment transport calculations using the Shield, Einstein, and Mayer-Patter & Muller (MPM) methods, checking the deposition effectiveness and calculating the draining time. Based on the results of sediment transportation calculations, the highest value of 37.15 tons/day was obtained based on the MPM method. A settling efficiency value of 86.10% was obtained for the effectiveness of sludge bags. Then to optimize the performance of the mud bag, according to the calculation results, it is necessary to drain the mud bag of I.A. East Glapan every four months.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi masa kini dapat memudahkan siswa untukmembuat suatu karya ilmiah yang baik. Perangkat lunak Mendeley adalahsalah satu contoh teknologi terkini untuk membantu mengelola karyailmiah dalam penulisan referensi atau sitasi. Pada faktanya siswa yangberada di bangku sekolah terutama siswa SMK N 3 Semarang sama sekalibelum mengetahui pentingnya dan cara penggunaan aplikasi tersebut. TimPengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) Universitas Semarang (USM) hadiruntuk mengajak mitra agar bisa membuat karya tulis ilmiah sekaligusmengelola referensi dengan Mendeley. Hasil dari pemberian pelatihankepada siswa, diperoleh kemajuan berupa penambahan ilmu danpemahaman baru yang belum pernah didapatkan sebelumnya untukmemudahkan penulisan laporan akhir Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) siswamaupun bekal menulis karya tulis ilmiah untuk ke jenjang perkuliahan.Evaluasi peningkatan pemahaman peserta pelatihan dilakukan denganmetode N-Gain berdasarkan data pretest dan posttest dan hasilnyadiperoleh bahwa efisiensi hasil pelatihan masuk kedalam kategori tinggidengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 80,91%.

Abstract

The Sindu Block area in Kalibening District, Banjarnegara Regency, is a rice field area 1000 meters above sea level that often floods during the rainy season. The initial indications of the cause of flooding are high rainfall, siltation of rivers, and changes in forest land use. There is a need for research related to land use change in the Kalibening area to determine its effect on the peak discharge of the Brukah River flood. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of land use change on the percentage of increase in peak flood discharge in the Brukah River. The calculation of peak flood discharge in this study uses the HEC-HMS application with GPM satellite rainfall data, frequency analysis using Hydrognomon, and baseflow using the Gama 1 equation. The simulation results showed that the comparison between ideal conditions and other conditions in percentage terms from Q2th, Q5th, Q10th, Q25th, and Q50th was an average of 14.1% - 10.7% for 2012 conditions, then 15.7% - 11.7% for 2020 conditions, and 22.7% - 16.1% for severe conditions. Land use changes significantly affect peak flood discharge, especially in the Brukah River in the Sindu Kalibening Block area of Banjarnegara.

Abstract

Sidorejo Village, Bandongan sub-district, Magelang Regency, according to data from the Agriculture Service, has beef cattle which continues to increase every year. This made the village community continue to improve cattle farming. A good farm must have a conceptual and sustainable building infrastructure. The partner's problem with community service is that they want to plan a modern farm. The community service team is here to provide assistance and direction so that the site plans and enclosures are divided according to their respective functions. In the future the location of this farm will be used as a container for fermented cattle feed from straw by utilizing the surrounding straw waste. The result of the assistance from the PKM team is increased understanding and information on land layout and space placement in accordance with the concept of modern cattle farming. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of pre-test and post-test from 35% to 65%.
