Abstract

This structural planning of building that located in Mijen district is expected to became a practical economic center, complate, enjoy, and safety for society. The planning building based on Indonesian national standart regulation (SNI). SNI (2847-2019) “On structural concrete requirements for the buildings” and SNI (1726-2019) “Procedures for planning and earthquake resistance for the building and non building”. For the planning is include of planning top and bottom structure that have a model of software ETABS 18 and Sp Column as a helper software. For the top structure it means include of the planning of roofs, beams, plat, column, and shearwall. Meanwhile the bottom structure it means include of foundations planning. This building is planned earthquake resistance based on earthquake data from website of Puskim-Kementrian PU. Based on the result of this structure is using double system with the special moment resisting frames and special slidding wall structural as a building earthquake resistance system. The result of this analysis is deviation between the floors direction X and Y is safety for service limit it, meanwhile for the analyse of vibration have fullfiled the rules. This is shows that the planning building can hold an earthquake resistance planning and had a good response during the earthquake.

Abstract

The world of education is one of the sectors that has been affected and has undergone drastic changes in teaching and learning activities from face-to-face to online. The activities that students must participate in, namely the student study service (KKN), must also be carried out independently around their environment. In the current pandemic situation, teenagers in the village have much free time that can be filled with beneficial activities and increase knowledge and abilities, so it is necessary to carry out additional skills training. This KKN is a community service activity carried out by one of the students of the Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Semarang is conducting basic SketchUp software training for teenagers in RT.04 RW.01 Pepe Village, Tegowanu District, Grobogan Regency. KKN students conduct training by making videos to explain the material and doing hands-on practice from house to house with several teenagers in the village. The teenagers seemed enthusiastic and interested in the software used and in the world of civil engineering and architecture. The activity went smoothly and provided benefits in increasing knowledge and abilities after training.

Abstract

The people of Kuwaron Village, especially residents of RT.01 RW.04, have recently had problems of environmental damage, namely floods during the rainy season and drought during the dry season. The impact is the reduction of water catchment areas around the houses of residents of Kuwaron Village RT.01 RW.04. The purpose of this activity is to provide insight and skills regarding applying appropriate techniques for porous infiltration holes. In the hope of increasing groundwater reserves, reducing inundation, and accelerating water infiltration in residents' yards. The bio-pore-making training involved several residents of Kuwaron Village. Bio pores are made with a diameter of 10 cm and a depth of 100 cm. Then, the hole filled with organic kitchen waste. That is expected to reduce organic kitchen waste from each house because porous infiltration holes containing garbage invite various soil fauna and form pores to increase groundwater infiltration. The results of the evaluation of bio pores installation for four weeks showed that the rain puddles in the residents' yards receded faster.

Abstract

Fire disaster is one of the disasters that is very detrimental to the community both in terms of casualties and property and assets that are invaluable. Building A University of Semarang (USM) and the assets in it are very important things to maintain. Several USM buildings have been equipped with facilities regarding fire preparedness, but most of the USM buildings also do not have these facilities completely. Apart from the facilities, the building occupants' knowledge of fire disaster preparedness cannot yet be known to what extent their understanding is. Evaluation of infrastructure which refers to the standards set by the government needs to be carried out. This can increase awareness and can also minimize losses that can occur. So that activities that take place in the USM area can run well and calmly. There is a significant relationship with a strong enough to strong and positive direction correlation level between the combination of the relationship between 2 variables consisting of HR, Program, and Facilities variables. The residents of building A USM are considered to be ready to face the risk of fire disasters, although the current condition of supporting facilities for fire disaster preparedness is deemed necessary to be added. Abstract

According to its geographic location, Indonesia is part of a region prone to earthquakes, as it is situated at the convergence of three tectonic plates: Eurasian, Pacific, and Indo-Australian. These plates can collide at any time, resulting in tectonic earthquakes. Due to the occurrence of earthquakes inIndonesia, there are significant losses to buildings. Therefore, the developmentof earthquake analysis on structures is necessary. Spectrum response analysisis one of the methods used in this report, analyzing the relationship betweenthe structural period of buildings and the acceleration values experiencedduring earthquakes.This study focuses on the Integrated Emergency Room Building of K.R.M.TWongsonegoro Semarang, aiming to determine the building's safety level under seismic loads according to the Indonesian Earthquake Resilience Design Standard 1726;2019. The analysis includes base shear, displacement, and story drift values using the ETABS V.20 software. The analysis results indicate that the Integrated Emergency Room Building of K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro Semarang is considered safe, with a dynamic spectrum response base shear exceeding 100% of the static earthquake. The maximum displacement values obtained are 15.87 mm in the X direction and 19.08 mm in the Y direction, while the maximum story drift values are 21.64 mm in the X direction and25.24 mm in the Y direction, ensuring the building's safety against ultimate limit performance (0.02h).

Abstract

The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and 5.0 is the era of digitalization, the era in which the man who drives the development of the country's economy has been slowly replaced by mechanical automation and digitization of technology. The role of science and technology is necessary for the success of the digitalized era of education. Technology-based modules are essential to digitizing education and avoiding loos learning. The technology that can be used to digitize education is using three-dimensional images using augmented reality technology integrated using PhET (Physic Education Technology). The research aims to implement Augmented Reality (AR) and Physics Education Technology (PhET) in the development of physical modules for enterprise materials and renewable energy. This module will be about materials and renewable energy which contains barcodes that when scanned using a student's smartphone, then will appear a real three-dimensional picture. While business practicums and renewable energy will emerge in the form of links that will later be connected to PhET and students can simulate experiments on energy change, enterprise and renewed energy. The research method uses the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The research was carried out at Kesatrian 2 Semarang High School involving 50 students and 2 specialists. PhET-based and Augmented Reality learning modules applied to the experimental class can help students to improve their problem-solving skills. an evaluation of the applications already implemented in the school, which assessed the effectiveness of the use of AR and PhET learning modules on vibrational and wave material. Effectiveness can be reviewed from the response of students who have used the reviewed module from the level of comprehension of the material. The effectiveness score reaches 83%, which means that the module is developed effectively to support the process of learning activities in the classroom.

Abstract

The Jatingaleh BRI Regional Office is one of the buildings in Central Java that will be reconstructed. This is done to improve the function of the building with new reinforcement. One of the processes before being reconstructed is to check the compressive strength of concrete by means of a non-destructive test using a hammer test & semi destructive using a core drill. One of the factors that affect the strength of concrete is surface hardness. The method used in this study was to collect primary data in the form of hammer test results, compressive strength test results using the core drill method and secondary data obtained from the contractor. The purpose of this study is expected to be able to determine the correlation of compressive strength with the hammer test method and the core method. After carrying out the hammer test, proceed with the core drill test. Based on the research results, the compressive strength correlation was obtained using the hammer test and core drill method which is presented by an equation 𝟏.𝟑𝟏𝟕𝟖𝒆𝟎.𝟎𝟓𝟔𝟕𝒙 with a value of 𝑹𝟐=𝟎.𝟖𝟏𝟏𝟔.

Abstract

Jembatan memiliki fungsi sebagai lintasan untuk memperpendek jarak tanpa menutup rintangan itu sendiri. Analisis pada jembatan ini berfokus pada perbandingan mutu beton fc’30 dan fc’40 pada abutment dan pier yang merupakan bagian struktur jembatan. Pelaksanaan pekerjaan struktur jembatan mengenai mutu beton sangat mempengaruhi mutu, biaya, dan waktu. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan terjun langsung di lokasi proyek jembatan Wonokerto Demak dengan menganalisa semua struktur jembatan Analisis dilakukan dengan menentukan mutu 30 Mpa terjadi Peningkatan menjadi 40 Mpa. Metode analisis penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data primer atau pengumpulan data secara langsung di lapangan. Setelah seluruh data diperoleh dilakukan metode analisis data dengan cara kuantitatif, yaitu data hasil dari survei yang diperoleh diolah sesuai dengan data yang didapatkan, setelah dilaksanakan penelitian mengenai perbandingan mutu beton fc’30 mpa dan fc’40 mpa pada Jembatan Wonokerto Demak didapatkan hasil bahwa beton fc’40 pada usia 7 hari mendapatkan mutu 33,78 Mpa sehingga hal ini sudah memenuhi syarat beton perencanaan.

Abstract

Berbagai bahan alternatif diuji guna menghasilkan beton yang bermutu tinggi dengan material yang lebih ekonomis. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengujian dengan bahan alternatif ramah lingkungan menggunakan limbah plastik berjenis LDPE sebagai bahan tambah dalam campuran beton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik kuat tekan beton dengan bahan  tambah plastik tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini akan dibuat benda uji silinder dengan variasi komposisi penambahan limbah plastik LDPE 0%, 2,5%, dan 7,5% dari proporsi semen dengan jumlah sampel yang diuji sebanyak 9 buah Dari penelitian yang sudah dilakukan diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut, pada variasi 1 dengan penambahan 0% plastik memperoleh nilai kuat tekan tertingi 29,82 MPa, variasi kedua dengan penambahan limbah plastik 2,5% memperoleh hasil kuat tekan tertinggi 25,86 Mpa sedangkan untuk variasi 7,5% penambahan limbah plastik memperoleh hasil tertinggi 20,94 Mpa. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa semakin besar penambahan limbah plastik maka semakin menurun nilai kualitas beton nya. Dalam penelitian ini beton tidak memenuhi syarat karena kuat tekan rata-rata diperoleh kurang dari kuat tekan rencana.
