Abstract

Sensor atau tranduser adalah sebuah kompenen elektronika yang berfungsi untuk mengubah suatu besaran fisis kedalam besaran listrik. Dengan adanya berbagai macam sensor maka berbagai fenomena fisis seperti suhu, kelembaban udara, tekanan udara, intensitas gas, kualitas udara, dll dapat dideteksi . Dalam aktivitas pengukuran / instrumentasi peranan sensor menjadi sagat penting. Dengan adanya sensor maka dapat dideteksi perubahan nilai pada suatu besaran yang sedang diukur, selanjutnya perubahan nilai besaran tersebut dapat divisualisasi sebagai luaran sistem pengukuran. Implementasi teknik pengukuran pada saat ini sebagain besar merukan sebuah sistem terintegrasi, berbasis IoT ( Internet of Thing). Pada tulisan ini akan direview implemntasi berbagai macam sensor pada IoT yang berbasis Arduino.

Abstract

Buyan Lake, is one of the caldera lakes originating from an ancient volcanic eruption in Bali. Geographically, Lake Buyan is located in Pancasari Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency. The existence of this lake is very important for the surrounding community. This lake is a source of drinking water, tourism, agriculture for the people in Buleleng Regency. One of the factors that influence the existence of Lake Buyan is the uncontrolled growth of water biomass (Eceng Gondok)  is influenced by fishing and agricultural activities that produce nitrite and phosphate. 10 individuals of eceng gondok can grow to 600000 individuals within 8 months. The relationship of the number of cementations (Ton) to the area covered by eceng gondok  (Ha) is expressed by the relationship y = 0.25 x -11,525. The sedimentation prediction simulation model is carried out by taking conditions in 2020, in Lake Buyan there are 8 JKA (Floating Cage Net) stations, the value of nitrite and phosphate growth rates for each station, and the growth of fishery activity is 1%. It was found that the sedimentation deposits showed a significant effect which caused the shrinkage of Lake Buyan. Sedimentation  in 2020 are still around 0.48 tons, but in 2050 the annual will be 40.34 tons. This causes the shrinkage of Buyan Lake in 2020 which is still 370 Ha, but in 2050 only 31 Ha.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian dasar / fundamental , yang mencoba untuk mengimlementasikan  konsep dan teori dalam bentuk sebuah aplikasi /penerapan toeri IoT, pengetahuan sensor.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan dukungan untuk keamanan di laboratorium FMIPA Undiksha. Sistem deteksi gas dirancang dengan menggunakan arduino uno , degan menintegrasikan beberapa device . Device yang digunakan adalah  Sensor Gas MQ2/6, Device notifikasi kebocoran Gas  LCD , lampu notif, dan media komunikasi whatsaap/telegram.  Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Gas LPQ yang dibocorkan pada level 430 PPm, 465 PPm, dan 490 PPm.  Sedangkan nilai ambang yang diseeting pada arduiono adalah 400 PPm. Pengujian dilakukan berdasarkan jarak 0 meter, 0.5 meter , dan 1 meter.  Pada setiap level dan jarak tertentu dilakukan pengujian 6 kali.  Total dari 54 kali pengujian , ditemukan 3 kali kesalahan deteksi. Sehingga akurasi pengujian sistem ini menunjukan nilai 94.44%

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in physics learning outcomes between students who study with the Problem Based Flipped Classroom Learning (PBFCL) model and students who study with the conventional learning model. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research population is class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Petang as many as 165 students. The sample selection was done by random assignment technique and obtained a total sample of 67 students. Data on students physics learning outcomes were obtained through the provision of essay tests with a test reliability of 0.893. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive analysis and one-way ANACOVA. The results showed that the average value of student learning outcomes in the PBFCL model group and the conventional model were 87.75 and 78.95, respectively, with a standard deviation of 3.52 and 3.80. The conclusion of this study is that there are differences in student physics learning outcomes between students who study with the PFBCL model and students who study with the conventional learning model.

Abstract

Yeh Gangga Beach is one of the black sand beaches in the Tabanan district. The abundant black sand on this beach stretches along the shoreline with varying grain sizes. This black sand characterizes the specific surface composition as iron sand deposits with high magnetic mineral content. The very high need and use of magnetic minerals in various fields prompt a study of the magnetic mineral content in the black sand of Yeh Gangga beach.The magnetic material content was determined by the extraction method which was expressed in terms of mass fraction. The grain size distribution was determined by the sieve method using a sieve shaker consisting of six mesh numbers, namely 30, 100, 170, 200, 270, and 325.The density of magnetic materials was determined by the principle of mass and volume ratio. The magnetic susceptibility was tested by using a Bartington MS2B susceptibility meter. Meanwhile, the characterization of the elements and their oxides used non-magnetic methods, namely the X-Ray Fluorescence test.The research results show that the magnetic material fraction of Yeh Gangga black sand reach 84.84% with 58.39% of the grains having sizes in the range 150r ≥90 μm. The magnetic susceptibility value is 28.26 10-6 m3/kg with an Fe element content of 85.15% w. The hematite (Fe2O3) content reaches 81.69%. This magnetic material has a density of 1914.43 kg/m3.

Abstract

The results of learning physics for grade XI high school / MA students are still low, one of the reasons is that the teaching materials used are still dense, textual, and the media used is still not attractive. Based on these problems, researchers aim to (1) develop attractive physics e-modules based on science, environment, technology, and society to improve physics learning outcomes of grade XI high school / MA students, (2) describe the practicality of interactive physics e-modules based on science, environment, technology and society, and (3) describe the effectiveness of s-based interactive physics e-modules AINS, environment, technology and society in improving physics learning outcomes of grade XI high school / MA students. The e-module development model uses ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development. The subjects in this study were 2 physics lecturers, 5 practicality teachers, and 32 students of SMA Negeri 2 Banjar. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive. The results of the research obtained (1) the interactive physics e-module is very feasible to be used with an average value of media experts of 0.92 and material experts of 0.96 in the very feasible category, (2) the interactive physics e-module is very practical to use in learning with an average value of teacher practitioners of 93% of the very practical category and student response questionnaires of 75% of the Practical category, and (3) the attractive physics e-module is effective enough to improve student physics learning outcomes with a value obtained of 0.44 medium category. Based on the results of data analysis described above, it can be concluded that SLTM based e-modules are feasible to use, practical, and quite effective in improving the learning outcomes of physics class XI SMA/MA.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of dataset balancing and feature selection on the performance of the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) classification algorithm. The primary objective is to determine the effect of different training data balance ratios on classification performance. Additionally, the study analyzes the contribution of feature selection methods and data balancing to the overall performance of the classification algorithm. Three datasets (Titanic, Wine Quality, and Heart Diseases) sourced from Kaggle, were utilized in this research. Following the preprocessing stage, the datasets were subjected to three resampling scenarios with balance ratios of 0.3, 0.6, and 0.9. Feature selection was performed by combining correlation test values and information gain values, each weighted at 50%. The selected features were those with positive combined values of summation, correlation, and information gain. The KNN classification algorithm was then applied to datasets with and without feature selection. The results indicate that achieving a perfectly balanced ratio (ratio = 1) is not essential for improving classification performance. A balance ratio of 0.6 yielded results comparable to those of a perfect balance ratio. Furthermore, the findings demonstrate that feature selection has a more significant impact on classification performance than data balancing. Specifically, data with a balance ratio of 0.3 and feature selection outperformed data with a balance ratio of 0.6 but without feature selection.

Abstract

Kebutuhan energi dari masa ke masa pada kehidupan manusia adalah merupakan keniscayaan selalu meningkat. Hal ini linear dengan pertumbuhan penduduk. Pada bagian lain sumber energi semakin terbatas. Dalam beberapa waktu kedepan dipastikan akan terjadi krisis energi, karena sumber daya alam yang menyediakan energi akan habis. Sangat penting untuk mengembangkan sumber energi terbarukan. Salah satu sumebr energi tersebut adalah energi matahari. Salah satu keunggulan energi matahari adalah yang tidak akan habis. Bagi Negara yang berada di daerah katulistiwa sepanjang tahun akan dapat memanfaatkan energi matahari. Tulisan ini mereview tentang hal yang terkait dengan pemanfaatan energi matahari terutama sekali terkait teknologi fotovoltaik dan implementasinya. Hal yang terkait dengan pemanfaatan energi matahari adalah proses konversi energi matahari, tantangan serta peluang pengembangan. Energi Matahari adalah salah satu sumber energi yang potensial, namun saat ini secara biaya masih tinggi dan effesiensi masih sangat rendah. Hal ini menjadi tantangan pengembangan kedepannya. Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah melatih guru-guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Kabupaten Buleleng membuat media pembelajaran IPA berbasis lingkungan. Metode kegiatan ini menggunakan sistem pelatihan. Sasaran pengabdian adalah guru-guru IPA Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Negeri dan Swasta yang ada di Kabupaten Buleleng berjumlah 34 orang. Data media pembelajaran IPA berbasis lingkungan yang dibuat guru-guru MI dan aktivitas guru dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, data respon guru terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan dikumpulkan dengan angket. Data tersebut dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil pelaksanaan program kegiatan ini menunjukkan Skor rata-rata media pembelajaran IPA berbasis lingkungan yang dihasilkan guru-guru MI adalah 83,7 berkategori baik dengan standar deviasi 1,81. Aktivitas guru-guru MI pada kegiatan pembuatan media pembelajaran berkategori sangat tinggi, dengan skor rata-rata 85,4 dengan standar deviasi 0,96. Respon guru peserta pelatihan terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan sangat positif.

Abstract

Tujuan utama kegiatan P2M ini adalah 1) meningkatkan kemampuan guru pendamping pembina olimpiade OSN fisika di SMP di kota Tabanan dalam menyusun dan mengembangkan asesmen fisika berbasis olimpiade, dan 2) meningkatkan  respon para peserta pelatihan terhadap pelaksanaan pendampingan penyusunan dan pengembangan asesmen  fisika berbasis OSN.  Untuk mencapai tujuan di atas, telah dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk pendampingan yang diselenggarakan pada tanggal 27 Oktober 2012 bertempat di SMP N 2 Tabanan. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 15 orang guru (sains- fisika) SMP N Kota Tabana. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dengan teknik tes, observasi, teknik angket dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Dari  hasil  analisis  data  dapat  disimpulkan bahwa  1)    kemampuan  guru pendamping pembina OSN fisika di SMP N di kota Tabanan dalam menyusun dan mengembangkan asesmen fisika berbasis olimpiade meningkat setelah kegiatan pendampingan, dan 2) para guru pendamping pembina OSN fisika di SMP N di kota Tabanan sebagai peserta pelatihan menunjukan respon positif terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan pendampingan ini. Beberapa hal positif yang diperoleh setelah kegiatan pendampingan ini adalah 1) para guru pendamping pembina olimpiade fisika memperoleh pendalaman materi-materi fisika dalam tataran OSN, 2) para guru peserta pelatihan mengetahui teknik penyusunan dan pengembangan asesmen fisika berbasis OSN yang secara langsung dapat diterapkannya dalam membina kegiatan olimpiade, dan 3) tersedianya asesmen fisika  SMP berbasis OSN yang akan dapat digunakan oleh para guru pembina dan para siswa sebagai salah satu acuan sumber belajar dalam persiapan menghadapi OSN
