Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of Enzim Bakti Community in raising ecological awareness through citizenship education, using a case study as the main approach. Enzim Bakti Community is a community organization that focuses on ecological and social activities at the local level. This study uses a phenomenological method to describe how this community influences its members' understanding and behaviour regarding environmental issues. An in-depth case study was conducted to understand the concrete contribution of Enzim Bakti Community in educating its members about ecological and citizenship responsibilities. The study's findings show that through various activities such as tree planting, recycling campaigns, and environmental counselling, this community has created a deeper awareness of the importance of preserving the environment. The citizenship education implemented by Enzim Bakti Community broadens its members' knowledge about environmental issues and builds active involvement in promoting sustainability principles in their daily lives. Through discussions, training, and collaborative projects, community members learn to consider the ecological impacts of their actions and contribute to collective efforts to improve local environmental conditions. This study provides in-depth insights into how local communities can act as agents of social change in raising ecological and citizenship awareness. The implications of this study highlight the important role of civil communities in building a more environmentally conscious society and committed to collective action for a more sustainable future.

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between entrepreneurship and ecological awareness with a focus on the Enzim Bakti community, using a descriptive qualitative approach. The Enzim Bakti community, known for its efforts in utilizing enzymes to support environmentally friendly practices, serves as a case study to understand how entrepreneurship can be integrated with the principles of ecological sustainability. Through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, this study identifies various aspects of entrepreneurship implemented in this community and their impact on the ecological awareness of its members. The results show that entrepreneurship in the Enzim Bakti community is not only focused on creating economic value but also contributes significantly to environmental sustainability goals. Community members develop innovations that are oriented towards waste reduction, resource efficiency, and maintaining environmental quality. Ecological awareness, instilled through education and daily practices, plays a significant role in shaping entrepreneurial strategies that support environmental goals. These findings highlight that the integration of sustainability principles in entrepreneurship can have positive impacts on both business and the environment, and provide insights into how entrepreneurial communities can contribute to broader ecological awareness.

Abstract

This study about form awareness ecology citizenship through waste bank management in the Community Enzyme Indonesian Service. The goal study is For understand how is the waste bank in the Community Enzyme Bakti Indonesia contributes to awareness ecology citizens as well How its management influence perception and behavior they to environment. Method used is qualitative studies case. Data collection was carried out with  interview in-depth, observation participatory, and documentation. Data is collected from waste bank members and stakeholders interest related. Analysis qualitative show that the waste bank in the Community Enzyme Bakti Indonesia does not only role as means management trash, but also as receptacle For build awareness ecology citizenship. Through participation in activity management rubbish in the Community Enzyme Bakti Indonesia, member of the waste bank develop more understanding in about importance guard environment. They also experience it change behavior, such as practice cycle repetition and subtraction rubbish plastic. Waste bank management also has an influence perception public to environment, strengthening the sense of belonging towards their territory, and improve collaboration between citizens. Findings This underline importance approach participatory in build awareness ecology citizenship through waste bank management, which can become an inspirational model For initiative similar in various community

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, popular applications used by lecturers were applications provided by the campus as well as third-party applications such as Whatsapp, Google Classroom, or Webex. The use of the Google Classroom application has several weaknesses, among others, it can only be accessed by a Google account and there is no notification that the material submitted has been read in full by students so that the effectiveness of Google Classroom is still in doubt. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of online learning through Google Classroom to improve achievement. learning entrepreneurship for fifth grade elementary school students. This type of research is quantitative research with quantitative descriptive data analysis. The population of this research is 70 students of public elementary school. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The hypothesis testing technique uses simple linear analysis, regression linearity and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that online learning through google classroom was effective in improving the entrepreneurship learning achievement of fifth grade elementary school students. This means that it is known that 60% of online learning through google classroom is effective for improving entrepreneurial learning achievement, while the remaining 40% of online learning through google classroom is not effective from other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study explores how effective AI chatbots enhance students’ vocabulary skills at Nommensen University in Pematangsiantar. Emphasizing the importance of vocabulary in English education, this study uses qualitative methods, including interviews and student documentation, with 25 participants from a third-semester English Vocabulary class. To analyze the data, the authors apply thematic analysis to identify patterns and themes within the interview responses and a 5-point Likert scale to gauge students’ perceptions. The findings reveal that AI chatbots significantly enhance students’ English vocabulary learning experience. Students not only enjoyed the process but also found it easier to acquire new words, which they eagerly applied in their diary entries and essays. The researchers strongly advocate for English teachers to incorporate AI chatbots into their lessons, as this approach can significantly improve students’ understanding of word meanings. Additionally, they urge future researchers to delve into a wider array of language skills to further enrich the learning journey. Overall, the results indicate that AI positively affects vocabulary improvement among students. Participants were enthusiastic and motivated since the application was new to them. They also recognized its usefulness, allowing them to learn independently anytime and anywhere.

Abstract

Tujuan  dari  kegiatan  Pengabdian  ini  adalah  untuk  Memberikan penguatan kompetensi literasi dan numerasi dengan keterampilan untuk mengakses, mengevaluasi, dan menggunakan informasi secara efektif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di SD Negeri 4 SINGKAM  kabupaten   Samosir   Sumatera   Utara seperti membaca buku, menulis cerita, membuat catatan, menyimak audio dan meringkas, mendeskripsikan gambar, dan berdiskusi tentang suatu topik. Peserta dari kegaitan pengabdian ini adalah SDN Negeri 4 Singkam kabupaten Samosir.  Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan oleh dosen-dosen pembimbing dan mahasiswa Kampus mengajar Universitas HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar yang mencakup tahap persiapam, pelaksanaan pelatihan/workshop kepada guru-guru SD, pendampingan dan penyusunan laporan. Dengan menerapkan strategi-strategi di atas, diharapkan kompetensi literasi dan numerasi siswa di SD dapat meningkat secara signifikan, sehingga mereka siap menghadapi tantangan di masa depan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah Pengaruh Keterampilan Mengajar Guru dan Minat Belajar Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Kelas X di SMK Nusantara Tanah Jawa Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X sebanyak 30 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket dan dokumentasi. Kualitas instrumen penelitian untuk angket dan prestasi belajar siswa dinilai melalui uji validitas dan reabilitas. Seluruh data dari ketiga variabel diatas terlebih dahulu diuji apakah berdistribusi normal atau tidak dengan menggunkan uji kecocokan atau uji chi kuadrat dan ternyata ketiga variabel tersebut berdistribusi normal. Adapun koefisien pengaruh yang diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut : (1) Koefisien kontribusi Y atas X1 sebesar 76,49 % (2) Koefisien kontribusi Y atas X2 sebesar 40,22 % (3) Koefisien kontribusi X1 atas X2 sebesar 50,73% (4) Koefisien kontribusi Y atas X1 dan X2 sebesar 55,81%.Berdasarkan uji hipotesis yaitu uji signifikan pengaruh (Uji t) dengan menolak H0 dan menerima H1 maka diperoleh :Pengaruh antara Keterampilan Mengajar Guru Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Kelas X di SMK Nusantara Tanah Jawa Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025 adalah “sangat kuat” (3,07).Pengaruh antara Minat Belajar Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Kelas X di SMK Nusantara Tanah Jawa Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025 adalah “sangat kuat” (2,68). Pengaruh antara Keterampilan Mengajar Guru dan Minat Belajar Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Kelas X di SMK Nusantara Tanah Jawa Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025 adalah “sangat kuat” (3,01)
