Abstract

Background: Family is the smallest unit of a society. Health status of family member is inter-relatedwith various problem faced by other family members. In theory, family function disorder may causehealth problem of the family members. The current increasing number of the elderly leads to problemin the health and function in the elderly. This study aimed to examine the association between familyfunction and the quality of life of the elderly.Methods: This was an analitic-observasional cross sectional study. A sample of 41 old people aged 60years or older was selected from Kelompok Jantung Sehat Surya Group Kediri. The dependent variableunder study was quality of life of the elderly. The independent variable under study was family function.The confounding factor to control for included age, sex, type of family, and employment status. Thevariables were pre-tested for its validity and reliability. The data were analyzed by use of chi squareand multiple logistic regression, on SPSS 17.0.Results: Multiple logistic regression analysis showed that elderly who came from a well-functioningfamily had 25 times higher probalility to have better quality of life than those who came from poorlyfunctioningfamily (OR = 24.9, p = 0.040 ; CI 95% 1.2 to 533.0).Conclusion: Family function has strong positive association with quality of life of the elderly. Familydoctors are recommended to provide information and education to families in order to increasefamily function.Keywords: family function, quality of life, elderly.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Penyandang diabetes mellitus akan mengalami defisiensi insulin, sehingga terganggunya metabolisme protein dan lemak yang menyebabkan penurunan berat badan, sehingga mengakibatkan berkurangnya jumlah simpanan kalori. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan antara berat badan dengan kadar glukosa darah pada tikus yang mengalami diabetes mellitus. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasy eksperimental. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 20 tikus Rattus norvegicus Barkenhout, 1769. Variabel terikat berupa berat badan sedangkan variabel bebas berupa gula darah. Analisis yang dilakukan berupa uji perbandingan kemudian dilakukan regresi coleration. Hasil: Berdasarkan uji korelasi antara berat badan dan gula darah didapatkan nilai kovisien korelasi (R2) adalah 0,774. Simpulan dan saran: Terdapat hubungan antara berat badan dan glukosa pada tikus yang mengalami diabetes mellitus. Perlu adanya penentuan tingkat imunitas dan stress pada hewan coba.

Abstract

Activities that are enhanced by the busy schedules of adolescents can be increased during their meals. Adolescent nutritional status needs to be considered for future health. Adolescent nutritional status can be used with energy consumption and physical activity. The aim is to determine the relationship of adolescent characteristics, energy consumption and physical activity with the nutritional status of adolescents aged 16-18 years. Observational research method with cross sectional research design. The population in this study were students of class X and class XI, while the sample used was 72 students. The sampling technique in this study was systematic random sampling. Data were collected by interview using a structured questionnaire for energy consumption and physical activity variables. The results of this study indicate that consumption with adolescent nutritional status has a relationship with a significant value of 0,000, p-value < 0.05. Physical activity with adolescent nutritional status has a significant value of 0.004, p-value < 0.05. The conclusions of this study indicate that there is a relationship between energy consumption and nutritional status and there is also a relationship between physical activity and nutritional status.

Abstract

Abstract: Based on data obtained from the office of blitar district health , the incident Diabetes Mellitus fall into the order to 8 out of 10 largest disease , puskesmas who ranks first with of diabetes mellitus are puskesmas wonodadi Diabetics Mellitus year 2014 at puskesmas wonodadi 1.178 people as much as . This research aims to understand the relationship between the level of knowledge about Diabetes mellitus and life style to puskesmas wonodadi diabetes mellitus in the blitar district . The kind of research used is analytic survey by using technic sampling purposive of sampling. Population as many as 37 respondents and 37 samples from respondents . The collection of data using a questionnaire. To analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge about diabetes mellitus and lifestyle against diabetes mellitus scene used statistical tests bivariate test with using chi square . The results of research known that the level of knowledge 10,82 percent of respondents having enough and 89,18 percent of respondents having a level of lacking knowledge . Of respondents having the style of life is not healthy by 67,6 percent while respondents who have a healthy lifestyle by 32,4 % . Of the chi square statistics showed there was an association between the level of knowledge of diabetes mellitus with an occurrence diabetes mellitus of 0,027 < α=0.05 , and there was an association between lifestyle with an occurrence diabetes mellitus of 0,049 < α =0.05 .Keywords: knowledge , life Style, diabetes mellitusAbstrak: Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Blitar, Tipe Diabetes mellitus masuk pada urutan ke 8 dari 10 penyakit terbesar, puskesmas yang menempati urutan pertama dengan penyakit Diabetes mellitus adalah puskesmas Wonodadi. Penderita Diabetes mellitus tahun 2014 di Puskesmas Wonodadi sebanyak 1.178 orang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan tentang Diabetes mellitus dan gaya hidup terhadap Tipe Diabetes Mellitus di Puskesmas Wonodadi Kabupaten Blitar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey analitik dengan menggunakan tehnik sampling purposive sampling. Populasi dan sampel sebanyak 37 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Untuk menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan tentang Diabetes mellitus dan gaya hidup terhadap Tipe Diabetes mellitus menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian diketahui sebesar 10,82% responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan cukup dan sebesar 89,18% responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan kurang. Responden memiliki gaya hidup tidak sehat sebesar 67,6%. Dari uji statistik chi square menunjukan ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan tentang Diabetes mellitus dengan Tipe Diabetes mellitus sebesar 0,027 < α= 0,05, dan ada hubungan antara gaya hidup dengan Tipe Diabetes mellitus sebesar 0,049 < α= 0,05.Kata kunci: pengetahuan, gaya hidup, diabetes mellitus

Abstract

Latar belakang: Prevalensi gangguan kesehatan mental pada lansia cukup tinggi. Oleh karena itu, perlu mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kesehatan mental pada lansia sebagai dasar penentuan intervensi untuk menurunkan prevalensi gangguan kesehatan mental. Tujuan: Menganalisis prevalensi gangguan kesehatan mental dan faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan gangguan kesehatan mental pada lansia anggota Kelompok Jantung Sehat Surya Group di Kota Kediri. Metode: Pendekatan cross-sectional dilakukan pada anggota Kelompok Jantung Sehat Surya Group di Kota Kediri, sebanyak 40 orang. Variabel bebas meliputi karakteristik responden, fungsi keluarga, kesehatan fisik, hubungan sosial, dan lingkunga sedangkan variabel terikat adalah kesehatan mental. Variabel kesehatan mental dinilai dengan intsrumen WHOQOL-BREF. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji Chi Square. Hasil: Prevalensi gangguan kesehatan mental pada lansia sebanyak 25%. Variabel yang berhubungan dengan kesehatan mental (p<0.05) adalah jenis kelamin, fungsi keluarga, kesehatan fisik, dan lingkungan. Simpulan dan saran: Terdapat hubungan antara jenis kelamin, fungsi keluarga, kesehatan fisik, dan lingkungan dengan kesehatan mental. Perlu adanya penentuan gangguan kesehatan mental yang spesifik.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Tempe merupakan pangan fungsional dengan harga terjangkau yang banyak dikonsumsi sebagai protein nabati. Tempe kedelai lebih dikenal dan disukai oleh banyak orang karena warnanya yang putih dan tekstur yang kompak sehingga lebih menarik untuk dikonsumsi. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya upaya meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran terkait pangan fungsional berbasis pangan lokal tempe. Upaya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat dapat dilakukan dengan melibatkan peran serta remaja sebagai kader muda sadar kesehatan. Tujuan Kegiatan: meningkatkan pengetahuan, pemamaham dan kemampuan peserta dalam mengedukasi pengolahan pangan fungsional berbasis pangan lokal tempe.Metode Kegiatan: Bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, yaitu  penyuluhan meningkatkan pengetahuan, pemamaham dan kemampuan peserta dalam mengedukasi pengolahan pangan fungsional berbasis pangan lokal tempe. Kegiatan ini dilakukan secara daring dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 47 peserta. Hasil Pengabdian: Rata-rata pengetahuan peserta terkait pengolahan pangan lokal tempe sebelum dilakukannya edukasi adalah 3,78  dan mengalami peningkatan setelah diedukasi, yaitu 4,76. Simpulan dan Saran: Pelatihan daring terkait pengolahan pangan fungsional berbasis pangan lokal tempe dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah sebaiknya dilakukan metode lain dalam edukasi dengan menggunakan media yang berbeda.

Abstract

Background: Elderly is someone who is >60 years old and identical with various drop status health, especially status health physique. Consumption of food with more sodium could increase pressure blood. Sodium t hat enters t he body will be directly absorbed into vessels blood. The thing this causes t h e rate of sodium in the blood to increase. Sodium nature withholds water, so that cause the volume of blood Becomes go on. LDL is called bad cholesterol because of its atherogenic effect (easily attached to the walls of blood vessels), so it can cause fat accumulation and narrowing of blood vessels (atherosclerosis). Objective: The aim of the study is for knowing the connection rate of sodium and LDL (Low-Density Lipoprotein ) in the elderly in RT 07 RW 08 Pojok Village, Mojoroto District Kediri City. Methods: The design of this study used a cross-sectional. The population is all elderly in the RT 07 RW 08 of Pojok Village, Mojoroto District, Kediri City, totaling 22 elderly. The research method used is Total Sampling. Analysis of the data used is Shapiro Wilk. Results: This study resulted in an average sodium level of ± 141.65 mmol/L and an average LDL level of 126.79 mg/dL. So there is no correlation between sodium and LDL levels with a p-value <0.05 (0.0191). Consultations and suggestions: This study concludes that there is no relationship between sodium and LDL levels in the elderly. Suggestions from this study are the elderly always maintain a healthy body by implementing a healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

Background: Interleukin 12 can destroy insulin-producing cells, suppresses IL4 production, and can stimulate the formation of Thelper1. Quercetin is a flavonoid suitable to be chosen as the lead compound for development of safe anti-diabetic agent because in addition to its anti-diabetic effect, quercetin shows also protective effect in pancreas track.Objective: This research aims to study the docking models of certain flavonoids and to predict the quercetin and triterpene derivatives inhibition activity on Interleukin12.Method: The molecular docking method was used using the PyRx program with the Autodock Vina menu.Results: IL-12 bond affinity with Dextromethoorpene results -7 kcal/mol as the highest affinity value energy while the lowest energy is -6.1 kcal/mol, IL-12 bond affinity value with Quercetin with the highest affinity value energy is -9 kcal/mol, and the lowest energy is -7.8kcal/mol. The affinity value IL-12 bond and triterpene with the highest affinity value is energy -7 .9 kcal/mol, and the lowest energy is -7.4 kcal/molConclusion: Quercetin, has hydrogen bonds and hydrophobic bonds, where the ligand of the Quercetin compound is the ligand that has the ability to form the best interactions and bonds with IL-12 receptors (4OG9)

Abstract

Nekrosis miokardium yang terjadi pada Infark Miokard menyebabkan pelepasan enzim-enzim serta protein yang terdapat pada otot jantung seperti transaminase, myoglobin, creatin kinase (CK), Troponin I dan T serta petanda-petanda lainnya. Peningkatan kadar SGOT serum pada infark miokard berhubungan dengan luasnya infark miokard. Kadar SGOT lebih bermakna karena aktivitas SGOT pada jantung lebih spesifik. Untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar Troponin I dengan SGOT pada pasien infark miokard di RSUD Dr. R. Sosodoro Djatikoesoemo Bojonegoro. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan survei cross sectional. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 35 sampel yang ditentukan dengan teknik Simple Random sampling. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji korelasi Rank Spearman. Berdasarkan uji korelasi antara kadar Troponin I dengan SGOTdiketahui nilai signifikansi atau sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0.580. Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kadar Troponin I dengan SGOT pada pasien Infark Miokard di RSUD Dr. R. Sosodoro Djatikoesoemo Bojonegoro. Perlu adanya penentuan waktu yang paling tepat pada saat pengambilan sampel pasien dengan diagnosa Infark Miokard. Kata kunci: Infark Miokard, Troponin I, SGOT
