Abstract

4C competencies (Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Creativity and Innovation) is the learning achievement needed at this time. Learning in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era provides an opportunity to increase 4C competencies without space and time limits, by utilizing information and communication technology. This study aims to use the G-Suite for Education as a substitution of learning models and or strategies to improve 4C competence in the Wawasan Pedagogi Course in the Physics Study Program of Mathematics and Natural Science Faculty of Sebelas Maret University. The research mechanism includes two strand cycles, namely learning with a student-centered learning (SCL) approach as follows: 1). Classical and 2). Online using G-Suite for Education. Reflections from the two research cycles show students could  follow both classical (face-to-face) and online learning strategies, in the delivery of material and or assessment of learning outcomes.

Abstract

Sensitive magnetic field sensor based on compensated double pick up coil has been developed. In order to confirm sensitifity of modified design, experiment carried out in two steps. Firstly, sensitify of conventional design is clarified. Here pick up coil as an active sensor and solenoid as an exitation coil is separately made. Secondly, modified sensor of integrated configuration is developed. Here for both active flux gate sensor and the exitation coil is made in same one core magnetic. Ferrite and standar foil soft magnetic is utilized in this experiment. In attention, frequency of 50 Hz is used for the whole experimens. A result showed that sensitvity of the integrated configuration sensor is much larger than conventional one. Then, power consume of the integrated flux gate sensor is much lower than conventional. Finally, a range measurement of the integrated configuration sensor can be realized less than 20 T which potential may perhaps sense a change of natural local magnetic field.

Abstract

Perlu adanya upaya implementasi kebijakan Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) padaperguruan tinggi. Tetapi beberapa perguruan tinggi yang tergolong muda masih memiliki keterbatasansumber daya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, perlu adanya kerjasama dengan pihak ketiga. Metodepenelitian pengabdian ini meliputi analisis situasi, pelaksanaan kegiatan mulai dari persiapan sampaitahap kerjasama dan metode pelaksanaannya. Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalahterjadinya MoU kerjasama dengan pihak ketiga dalam rangka menyukseskan implementasi kebijakanMBKM di Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo. Hasil lainnya adalah terlaksana workshop danpertukaran pelajar sebagai implementasi kebijakan Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM).

Abstract

This study aims to examine computational (numerical) programs in solving the Ginzburg-Landau Time-Dependent Equation. The Ginzburg-Landau Time-Dependent Equation (TDGL), which is often used to model the dynamics of superconductors in external magnetic fields.  The TDGL equation is made using the Scilab platform, then the results are compared with the results of Fortran. This study involves experiments with variations in superconductor size to observe their effect on simulation results. The main focus of this study is to study the relationship between the mean magnetization of superconductors and external magnetic fields (He), as well as to evaluate the accuracy and efficiency of the results obtained from the two computing platforms.  These results show the relationship between the mean of the superconductor magnetization and the external magnetic field, as well as a comparison of the Vs He graph of Scilab and Fortran showing the relationship between the superconductor order parameters and the external magnetic field.

Abstract

Pemodelan sistem deteksi netting pada permainan bola voli telah dilaksanakan. Sistem ini bahan utamanya yaitu copper foil, yang digunakan sebagai net warna putih. Prinsip kerja dari sistem deteksi netting adalah mendeteksi sentuhan tangan dan menghitung nilai kapasitansi yang diperoleh dari sentuhan tersebut. Sistem dilengkapi dengan Arduino UNO untuk mengolah data kapasitansi copper foil dan sentuhan tangan. Sistem deteksi telah diuji dengan memvariasi resistor sehingga didapat nilai resistor tepat yang digunakan. Nilai resistor pada rangkaian sistem deteksi adalah 1M Ω. Nilai tersebut digunakan dalam rangkaian untuk menguji sistem deteksi dengan berbagai kondisi. Hasil pengujian sensor menunjukkan bahwa sistem deteksi tidak berpengaruh terhadap bola dan rambut. Nilai kapasitansi yang didapat dalam pengujian sistem deteksi digunakan untuk menentukan batas menyalakan LED. Nilai batas kapasitansi yaitu 1000 nF. Sistem deteksi telah diuji dan bekerja dengan baik.

Abstract

Monitoring of alcohol waste that could potentially enter the raw water intake pump of the Semanggi Water Treatment Plant (WTP) on the Bengawan Solo river is still done manually, with officer watching near the pump for 12 hours per shift. A prototype alcohol monitoring system designed to make more efficient device than manual method that needs 34,7 s to turn off the pump and finding the optimal distance between the sensor and the water pump. The working principle is automate pump control, so the water pump can automatically turn off when alcohol is detected by the sensor and turn on again when no alcohol is detected. The reaction time to turn off the pump is calculated from the time the 2 ml alcohol container is placed under the sensor until the pump turns off, while the time to turn the pump back on is calculated from the time the pump turns off until the pump turns back on. The reaction time of turning off the pump and restarting the pump at 7% alcohol percentage is 1.80 s and 0.72 s, while at 24% alcohol percentage is 0.87 s and 1.90 s. The Bengawan Solo river velocity ranges from 0.04 m/s to 0.27 m/s. Thus, this device turn off water pump time is faster by 94,8% than manual method and the optimal distance between the sensor and the water pump is more than 0.28 m and less than 0.39 m.

Abstract

Sistem deteksi kantuk dirancang menggunakan Elektrokardiogram (EKG) dengan Jaringan Saraf Tiruan Radial Basis Function dan Particle Swarm Optimization (JST RBF-PSO). Karolinska Sleepiness Scale (KSS) menjadi acuan tingkat kantuk yang dikelompokkan menjadi kelas terjaga dan kelas mengantuk. Sistem ini menggunakan algoritma Pan-Tomkins untuk menentukan interval RR dari EKG. Fitur yang digunakan adalah 15 parameter fitur statistik. Pelatihan dan pengujian data menggunakan JST RBF-PSO dengan metode validasi silang. PSO digunakan untuk mengoptimasi parameter utama JST RBF yaitu bobot, pusat dan lebar. Sistem deteksi kantuk ini diuji menggunakan DROZY Database. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan akurasi sistem ini pada segmentasi 40 detik, jumlah neuron 150 dan 15 fitur statistik sebesar 88,36%.

Abstract

A research of refraction methods in estabilishment location Hospital Education Sebelas Maret University has been done on October 31 2012 with P.A.S.I Seismograph Mod. 16S24 seismic refraction instruments with 24 geophone. This research in order to determine the depth of bedrock in the estabilishment location hospital education Sebelas Maret University. In this data acquisition, the travel time data was a distance function. Processing and interpretation data used Intercept Time Method. Intercept Time Method used value of intercept time concept from travel time curve. This interpretation which resulted P wave velocities and layer rocks thickness in three line which scattered in area of survey. The result was that we were able to obtain bedrock having the depth of 4 meters until 9 meters and heaving spreading velocity 1079 m/s – 1182 m/s is interpreted as talus deposits, sandstone, clay, loam, loess, sand and gravel.

Abstract

Group Riset Material dan Sensor Magnetik FMIPA UNS telah melaksanakan kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat kepada 15 guru dan 36 siswa klas XII MAN I Grobogan dengan tujuan meningkatkan pemahaman para siswa pada prinsip kerja motor listrik dan generator listrik menggunakan metode learning by doing. Efektivitas metode dilihat dari perbandingan nilai pre-test dan post-test sesudah siswa melaksanakan eksperimen. Nilai rata-rata pre-test adalah 67 sedangkan nilai post-test sebesar 84. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan metode learning by doing yang diimplementasikan dalam eksperimen berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman para siswa.
