Abstract

The aims of the research are to: 1) to reveal characteristics of learning business and pre practice lesson, 2) to reveal learning method application, 3) to reveal learning result. The kind of result is qualitative with ethnography design. The research subject at SMA N 1, Teras is Teachers of business and pre practice lesson, and students of class X.IPA-1 and X.IPA-2. While the researches object is learning business and pre practice lesson activity. Data collecting used are: observation, interview, and documentation. Data validity is conducted by using interactive model through reduction process, then drawing conclusion and presenting in valid data form. The research result of business/entrepreneurship at SMA 1, Teras: 1) Interaction of learning business and pre practice lesson was done conductively supported by appropriate media and learning method that is used and teachers’ lovely personality, 2) Media that is usually used on learning activity is audio visual, 3) The main obstacle on conducting learning activity is lack of literature and supporting equipment for doing job and the location for it, 4) The most effective learning method that can be applied is turning on video and group demonstration, 5) Learning result by using scientific approach is the beginning of students business spirit and motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe ( 1 ) the empowerment potential of schoolsupport cooperation with Du / Di , ( 2 ) implementation of SMK Negeri 2 Kendalcooperation with Du / Di .This research is qualitative, withEthnographic researchdesign. The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Kendal . Resource persons / Principalresearch informants , HumasbinWaka , Waka Curriculum / WakaSarpras / WMM , Kakom /WG Prakerin / BKK / UP / Head of section / teacher , student / alumni. Data collectiontechniques using in-depth interviews , observation and documentation . Analysis of the datausing a model of interactive analysis , data reduction , data model and conclusion /verification carried along with the data collection process through a cyclic process . Test thevalidity of the data using techniques degree of confidence ( Credibility ) .The results of this study are( 1 ). Empowerment potential of supporting cooperationwith schools Du / Di : a) HR teacher earning potential , on the up grade each year through onthe job training ( OJT ) to industry . b ) There are still people who do not understand theschool in the implementation of QMS ISO in school . c ) Some students lack the motivationto work . d ) Empowerment of alumni has not been well organized and e ) Empowerment ofpotential schools managed by Swot analysis , strategies and actions to support theempowerment of cooperation with Du / Di is done through the implementation of the workprogram of the school and the field of public relations programs . ( 2 ) Implementation ofSMK Negeri 2 Kendal cooperation with Du / Di : a) Implementation of cooperationembodied in the MoU , chosen Du / The quality meets industry standards nationally /internationally b ) Validation and synchronization curriculum along with Du / Di / stakeholdersevery year . c ) Periodically once a year to bring Du / Di / alumni of becoming ateacher . d ) Students carry prakerin in Du / Di for 4 months . Monitoring and evaluationconducted by the school counselor once a month .e ) Du / Di be the examiner / assessor in thevocational practice exams ( UPK ) is currently the national exam ( UN ) annually .f) Eachyear a minimum of 2 teachers in each - sent follow each competency skills on the job training(OJT) in the industry. g ) Production Unit of the school is still not optimal and h ) Schoolsfacilitate / bring together graduates / alumni of the user ( corporate headhunter ) through aspecial job fair ( BKK ) .

Abstract

The research aimed to describe the model of PKL coaching held by Surakarta City Government in the shape of arranging coaching (empowerment) model with several programmed and sustainable approaches, so that it could assure people economic activity settlement and support city development program, including Creative City Action Program. This study explored and described PKL coaching clinic held by Surakarta City Government, and the result would be a material for appropriate coaching model development. The data collection methods were documentation and in-depth interview with key source person, after that the data to be analyzed with SWOT and critical analysis.  The results revealed: 1) coaching and counseling in the shape of PKL is currently not effective; 2) the program cannot fully assist to get capital loan. 3) The City Government provides shelter, chart, tent, and umbrella as free facilities; 4) The SIP will be issued soon; 5) administer events that involving PKL such as night selling centre GALABO, Night market in Ngarsopuro, Car Free Day in Slamet Riyadi and Pucangsawit street, Sunday Market in Manahan Stadium.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial Leadership Headmaster that essentially sees leadership and entrepreneurial leaders on performance, so that its direction is more emphasis on best practices, it has become the issue of secondary education in this period. Consequently, by being led by the Headmaster who has a requirement with his strategic role, accelerates the achievement of graduates besides having competence in his field, has also entrenched entrepreneurial spirit. In practice, this model requires the support and togetherness of all academicians, especially teachers. As an anticipation, for universities, especially LPTKs that supply the needs of teachers, these educational issues become a signal for internal review to review the reliability of more relevant and flexible strategies to find provisions for its alumni. The review will cover several aspects, namely: 1) Leaders and Lecture aspects, 2) Education Laboratory aspects and Accounting, and 3) Aspects of the process of formation and briefing the competence of the graduates. These three aspects essentially refers to the formation of LPTK graduate who later can partner with the Headmaster in realizing the ideals of the school. The accuracy of finding a diagnosis on the aspects that need improvement, accompanied by more innovative strategy determination, and implementation that supported by the entire academic community, will at least be able to provide fresh air for the realization of the vision, mission, and objectives are declared.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the profile of soft skill teaching model in the economic and business vocational school (SMK) especially in productive subject that appropriate with industry needs. This was an qualitative research with the ethnographic approach. The data collection methods were interview, observation, documentation, and closed questionnaire. The source persons were vocational principals in Surakarta and CEO of some industries in Surakarta. The data analysis conducted by using the interactive pattern of analysis components. The research indicated that vocational schools in Surakarta needed to develop network among schools. However, while the private vocational school only had local network, the state vocational schools had wider network such as having collaboration with industry from Japan, Korea, and some countries from the Southeast Asia. The collaboration with the industry must cover the curriculum needs that had been adopted by the vocational school. The curriculum must include hard skill and soft skill. Hard skill must consist of knowledge (25%) and skill (35%). Whereas soft skill consist of character (24%) and physical condition (16%). There are two conclusion of this study. Firstly, the soft skill teaching in state vocational school had already integrated with teaching and learning activity. While, secondly, in the private vocational school still disintegrated with teaching and learning activity. Most private vocational school integrated soft skill with extra activities in school. Kata Kunci:  Profil, Model, Pembelajaran, Soft-Skill, SMK

Abstract

The sustainable issue of street vendor (PKL) management in Surakarta needs a programed supervision model in order to make PKL growing and having greater impact. The research aimed to arrange a PKL coaching model which is well programmed and sustainable to make PKL become a power of stable economic people and capable to suppport many city development programs including The City Creatif Action Program year 2017-2021. This improvisation research studied the first year research findings with the colleagues who have responsibility in PKL supervision, observer and practitioner, in turn developing a programed and sustainable model. The critical analysis was used to analyze the data which is analyze the weaknesses and strength a model so that it become the most suitable model. The coaching is arranged as follows: (1) The implementation syntax consists of: bring around and forming attitude leads up to care and aware attitude, expand knowledge transformation, capability, basic skills, and intellectual skill improvement in order to develop initiative and innovation skill to reach an autonomy. (2) The coaching scope consists of: a) arrange a stable business environment, b) capital assistance, c) business protection, d) partnership development, e) training, f) establish special institution, g) promotion development, h) develop facilities and infrastructure. (3) Coaching PKL based on counseling and guidance. (4) Implementation of counseling and developing PKL consists of: a. Counseling and developing in production and processing, b. Marketing, c. Human resources, d. technology.
