Abstract

AbstractFilm is one  of the mass communication media that has one goal that is to provide entertainment. Indonesian films that have penetrated to air in several countries, namely The Raid: Redemption film. This action genre film shows a lot of violent scenes. Hence this study aims to find out how representations related to violence both verbally and non-verbally in the The Raid: Redemption film. In this study to help find meaning in the The Raid: Redemption, the author uses Roland Barthes semiotics which sees everything with levels of denotation, connotation to myth. The qualitative research method retrieval to find out the purpose of violence and how the life and culture of violence that occurs in the The Raid: Redemption film. This research was conducted in the city of Bogor and Jakarta starting from November 2017 to June 2018.  Based on the results of research conducted that the violence displayed in the film The Raid: Redemption shows that someone who has the power allows to commit acts of violence both psychologically and phisically. Violence becomes a solution to all the problems that occur in this film. The language used by someone who commits violence tends to be harsh to demean others. Keywords: Violence, Semiotics, Representation, Film, The Raid: Redemption

Abstract

AbstractAnalysis of Media Dependency Relations with Student Political Participation at the Indonesian Lawyers Club Program on Tv One" (Case of Political Science Students of the Jakarta Institute of Social and Political Sciences). Communication Studies Program Broadcasting Concentration, Faculty of Social and Cultural Sciences (FISIB) Pakuan University Bogor. Supervised by Dr. David Rizar Nugroho M.Si. The objectives of the study were (1) Analyzing how students were exposed to the Indonesia Lawyers Club program on Tv One, (2) Analyzing how the political participation of students in Indonesia Lawyers Club program on Tv One, (3) Analyzing the relationship between Indonesia Lawyers Club program on Tv One and political participation of students. This research is a quantitative that produces statistical data using quantitative descriptive methods. Data used questionnaire method or questionnaire and literature study. The population and sample in this study were political science students from the Jakarta Institute of Social and Political Sciences who had watched Indonesia Lawyers Club on Tv One with accidental sampling. The research instrument tested the validity of the Pearson Product Moment reliability with Cronbach's Alpha. Data analyzed technique used is the average score and correlation test. The results show that: (1) In the media discontinuation variable the duration indicator of the majority of respondents watching Indonesia Lawyers Club 10-20 minutes in one watch. (2) Indicator of frequency of watching Indonesian Lawyers Club, the majority of respondents watch twice a month. (3) There is a significant relationship between media exposure and student political participation which is obtained by Pearson Product Moment correlation test for ratio, interval and ordinal data.Keywords: media dependency, political participation, relationships

Abstract

This research aims to identify the effectiveness of program 86 NET TV on increasing driving awareness of Bogor City community. The data analysis technique uses a quantitative explanatory survey method by taking data through a questionnaire, and document.The results of the research based on the effectiveness of the program 86 NET (X) significantly affects the community's awareness of driving (Y). The results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination test show that the effectiveness of the program affects driving awareness by 49.5 percent, meaning that it is not only the program effectiveness factor that affects public awareness of driving

Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan era digital dan perubahan perilaku konsumen, khususnya selama pandemi COVID-19, telah terjadi pergeseran signifikan perilaku belanja konsumen dari offline ke online. Di sisi lain kompetensi pelaku UMKM masih belum merata. Untuk itu, XL Axiata mengadopsi strategi digitalisasi Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) guna meningkatkan kompetensi digital perempuan pelaku UMKM agar mampu memasarkan produknya secara online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana strategi perusahaan XL Axiata dalam melaksanakan digitalisasi CSR pada program SISPRENEUR guna meningkatkan kompetensi pemasaran digital perempuan pelaku UMKM di Indonesia melalui pendekatan komunikasi kolaboratif dengan berbagai stakeholder. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus tunggal. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan pihak penyelenggara yaitu XL Axiata, pemerintah, komunitas perempuan, lembaga pendamping UMKM, dan perempuan pelaku UMKM. Penelitian ini juga didukung oleh data berdasarkan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi XL Axiata dalam melaksanakan digitalisasi CSR yaitu dengan berkolaborasi dengan berbagai stakeholder diantaranya pemerintah, lembaga pendamping UMKM, dan komunitas perempuan binaan pemerintah untuk berkolaborasi. Untuk memastikan kolaborasi berjalan degan baik, XL Axiata juga menerapkan komunikasi dua arah (dialogis). Selain itu, XL Axiata juga mengomunikasikan pesan CSR secara persuasif dan disesuaikan dengan kepentingan stakeholder. Terakhir, XL Axiata mengirimkan pesan CSR melalui berbagai media yang familier bagi mitra dan audience, seperti website, media sosial, YouTube, sustainability report, dan media massa online. Kesimpulannya yaitu kata strategi digitaliasi CSR yang dilaksanakan oleh XL Axiata dengan menerapkan komunikasi kolaboratif.

Abstract

The development of sustainability concept make the implementation of corporate social responsibility more intense. These developments has led to change the topic of corporate social responsibility. The aims of this study are (1) to highlight popular topic about the research of corporate social responsibility, (2) to visualization network mapping between keywords about the research of corporate social responsibility, and (3) to find research opportunities about corporate social responsibility for future. This research used quantitative methods with bibliometric analysis approach using co-occurrence analysis. This research used ProQuest database with 57 scholarly journals as population and seven scholarly journal that fulfil the indicator. The result shows that, based on keywords, the implementation of corporate social responsibility focused on social and environmental issues with external reinforcement.

Abstract

Rumah Tahanan Negara juga merupakan tempat pembinaan bagi warga di dalamnya yang sedang menjalani proses hukuman. Cemas, stres, serta takut pada proses hukuman yang dihadapi, dan proses adaptasi di rutan menyebabkan Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan (WBP) mengalami masalah psikologis. Negara berusaha meminimalisir tingkat stres WBP sekaligus menjadikannya lebih produktif, meski masih menjalani masa hukumannya dengan pendidikan/pembinaan. Selain itu, hak mendapatkan pendidikan dan pengajaran bagi WBP tertuang dalam beberapa aturan perundang-undangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengembangkan model komunikasi Fasilitator Eksternal dalam menyukseskan upaya pembinaan Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan di Rumah Tahanan Negara Kelas 1 Depok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis studi kasus yang mengacu pada metode, data, dan triangulasi sumber penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa model komunikasi Three Way Fit dalam penelitian ini kemudian menjadikan fasilitator dalam program pembinaan WBP di Rutan Kelas 1 Depok untuk lebih berkomitmen, disiplin dan penuh persiapan dalam setiap tugasnya. Petugas Rutan pun dituntut untuk mengetahui apa kebutuhan dan luaran yang diharapkan dari pelatihan yang dilakukan. Kedua pihak ini akan menentukan materi program dan luaran kegiatan benar-benar bermanfaat untuk warga binaan pemasyarakatan di Rutan tersebut.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the characteristics of students in the city of Bogor which is a mass media audience, and to know the relation between the level of audience trust in the news in the mass media and the culture of comparing information. This study uses descriptive quantitative correlational methods. The population in this study were students who enrolled in the city of Bogor, determining the sample using incidental sampling technique. The results showed that the characteristics of the mass media audience in this study were students who were dominated by women with a ratio of 61.2 percent with 38.8 percent. Generally they (61.9 percent) are between 19 and 21 years old. Their purchasing power or pocket money a month is worth Rp. 500,000-1,000,000 with a total of 49.3 percent. Students who become respondents in this study are dominated by students from level 4 or students who study between the 7th and 8th semesters, that is, 50 percent. They generally (69.4 percent) have a cumulative index (GPA) 4. In the essence of the news indicator with knowledge, attention, and interpretation there is a real and significant relationship with a positive direction. While indicators of communicators or news deliverers with knowledge, attention, and interpretation there is no relationship, meaning that respondents do not care about the identity of the source of information they receive. Indicators of the number of news with knowledge and interpretation there is a real and very significant relationship with the direction of the relationship that is in the same direction or positive. However, there is no relationship between the amount of news and student attention in the media coverage.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui karakteristik mahasiswa di Kota Bogor yang merupakan khalayak media massa, dan mengetahui relasi tingkat kepercayaan khalayak terhadap pemberitaan di media massa dengan budaya membandingkan informasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang berkuliah di Kota Bogor, penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik incidental sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik khalayak media massa dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang didominasi oleh kalangan perempuan dengan perbandingan 61,2 persen dengan 38,8 persen. Umumnya mereka (61,9 persen) berusia antara 19 hingga 21 tahun. Daya beli atau uang saku mereka perbulan rata-rata senilai Rp. 500.000-1.000.000 dengan jumlah 49,3 persen. Mahasiswa yang menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini didominasi oleh mahasiswa dari tingkat 4 atau mahasiswa yang berkuliah di antara semester 7 dan 8, yakni sejumlah 50 persen. Mereka umumnya (69,4 persen) mempunyai indeks prestasi kumulatif (IPK) 4. Pada indikator esensi berita dengan pengetahuan, perhatian, dan penafsiran terdapat hubungan yang nyata dan signifikan dengan arah yang positif. Sementara indikator Komunikator atau penyampai berita dengan pengetahuan, perhatian, dan penafsiran tidak terdapat hubungan, artinya responden tidak peduli dengan indentitas sumber informasi yang mereka terima. Indikator jumlah berita dengan pengetahuan dan penafsiran terdapat hubungan yang nyata dan sangat signifikan dengan arah hubungan yang searah atau positif. Namun, antara jumlah berita dengan perhatian mahasiswa dalam pemberitaan di media massa tidak terdapat hubungan.

Abstract

This study aims to illustrate how Fremantle Indonesia's creative strategy in ensuring the Family 100 program remains in demand. This research uses the concept of 13 elements of creative strategy in event production according to Naratama consisting of the target audience, script language, event format, punch line, gimmick and fanfare, clip hanger, tune and bumper, artistic director, music and fashion, rhythm and rhythm of the show, logo and music track, general rehearsal and interactive program. This research uses qualitative methods with a type of case study research. The research was conducted at the Fremantle Indonesia office. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and documentation. The triangulation used in this study is source triangulation.  The results of this study show that the Family 100 program applies 13 elements of creative strategy in event production according to Naratama, but the Family 100 program also has a focus that becomes the main strategy, namely with gimmicks through "gifts". In conclusion, Fremantle Indonesia uses a gimmick strategy through "gifts" to ensure the Family 100 program remains in demand.
