AbstractThe main problem, in this study was the impact of implementing the free education program on parents interest in sending their children to Tengguli Village. The sub problems were how the implementation of the free education program in SD and SMP in Tengguli Village, how are parents interested in sending their children to Tengguli Village, and what the impact of the implementation of the free education program on the interest of parents to send their children to school in Tengguli Village. The form of research used was qualitative research with descriptive methods. Research techniques and tools used observation guides, interview guides, and documentation tools. The results of the study stated that schools in Tengguli Village, did not have to pay for school tuition fees, the learning support facilities at the schools in Tengguli Village were quite complete and in good enough condition and can be used as learning support at schools, and the implementation of the free education program in Tengguli Village had an impact on the increasing interest of parents to send to school. AbstractThis research is intended to find out the process of developing a lesson plan for sociology teachers at SMA Kemala Bhayangkari Sungai Raya. The approach of this research is a qualitative approach, and the method is a descriptive method. The researcher used observation, interview, and documentation as the techniques of data collection. Furthermore, the analysis in this research was presented in a descriptive qualitative which deals with 3 informants, they are the sociology teachers from SMA Kemala Bhayangkari Sungai Raya. The result showed that the aspects of the syllabus development, the identification of material, objective, model, method, strategies, assessment, and the time allocation were had been done successfully based on each indicators. However, there are still some aspects that need to be fixed in the lesson plan that will be used by the teachers. Consequently, the development of the lesson plan will be well develop, and it will be able to be used in teaching and learning process.Key words: Development, Lesson plan, Sociology, Teachers

AbstractThis study was an analysis on the causes of coming late behavior of students of SMAN 4 Sungai Raya. The general problem of this study was why do the students of SMAN 4 Sungai Raya commit this coming late behavior. The specific problems are (1) What causes the students of SMAN 4 Sungai Raya commit coming late behavior from the internal factor. (2) What causes the students of SMAN 4 Sungai Raya commit coming late behavior from the external factor. This study aims to know and describe the causes of coming late behavior from the internal and external factors. The method used in this study was qualitative with descriptive analysis. The tools of data collecting are observation guide, interview guide, and documentation. The result of this study were (1) Based on the the internal factor, the cause commit coming late behavior of students of SMAN 4 Sungai Raya are they have ignored the school regulation. (2) Based on the external factor, the cause commit coming late behavior of students of SMAN 4 Sungai Raya are they less of their parents attention, they get bad influence from theit friends who commit coming late, and they break the school rules.Keywords : Coming Late to School, Student, The Cause of Deviant Behavior

AbstractThis study would to determined the cultural form of mixed marriages between Tionghoa and Malay ethnic families in Sintang Regency. The research used descriptive method in the form of qualitative research. The data of this study were children from mixed marital families between Tionghoa and Malay ethnic in Sintang Regency. The techniques of data collection in this study were; interviews, observation and documentation, while the tools of data collection were; interview guideline, observation and documentation. The analysis of this study were presented in descriptive qualitative manner using five informants, consisting of some children as a result of mixed marriages between Tionghoa and Malay ethnic in Sintang Regency. The results of this study indicated that there were different forms of religious culture, language and social organization in children in mixed marriages family, where there is a process of cultural domination, cultural aculturation and cultural assimilation in the form of religious culture, language and social organization of mixed marriages between Tionghoa and Malay ethnic groups in Sintang district. AbstractThis study aims to determine the implementation of tolerance in religious freedom,respect and acceptance of other religions in studentsThe method used is aqualitative method with descriptive analysis. The method used is a qualitativemethod with descriptive analysis. Sources of data in this study are students of theSociology Education Study Program and the data is the result of observations and issupported by the results of interviews with students. The results showed that theimplementation of religious tolerance for students of the Sociology Education StudyProgram, FKIP UNTAN Pontianak, had been carried out well. Found duringobservation and supported by the results of interviews with students. 1) Religiousfreedom for sociology education students is good, as evidenced by the freedom ofeach one to pray according to his religion during observations and interviews withstudents. 2) Respect for other religions is good enough, as evidenced by the mutualrespect and support for other people with different beliefs during observations andinterviews with students. 3) Acceptance of other religions has been proven quite wellwhere students stay in touch and build good relations with friends of other religionsduring observations and interviews with students.Keywords: Religious Tolerance, Students

AbstractThe general problem in this research was how the influence of educational interaction of teachers and students to the motivation of learning on the subject of Sociology In Class XII IIS of Kemala Bhayangkari Senior High School. The research method used was descriptive method with the form of relationship studies. Total population 85 and sample 70. The data collecting technique used was indirect communication technique and documentation with data collection tool was questionnaire and note sheets from Kemala Bhayangkari senoir high school and data processing using Simple Linear Regression Analysis with SPSS computer aid version 16. The result of the data analysis shows that there was influence of Teacher and Student Interaction on Student Motivation Learning on Sociology Subject in Class XII IIS Kemala Bhayangkari senoir high school about 80% while the rest was influenced by other variables. AbstractThe title of this research is The Role of Teacher in Developing Students critical thinking through Microsoft PowerPoint in Learning Sociology(A descriptive research at Year-11 Students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak). The general problem in this research is how the role of teacher in developingthe critical thinking of the students in analysing, recognizing, and solving problems in learning sociology by using powerpoint as the multimedia. The researcher used qualitative approach in this study. There were seven participants in this research, a sociology teacher and six students at year-11 of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. The research finding of this study indicates that teacher can develop students' critical thinking skills by showing them some examples such as pictures through powerpoint as the multimedia in teaching Sociology and making the examples related to the students daily life. The developing of students critical thinking skills is also evidenced by looking at the students skills in analysing, recognizing, and solving problem in learning sociology in classroom. The students were able to understanding the material that given by the teacher properly and they were good in concluding and giving feedbacks about the material. Abstract This article is titled "Analysis of the Role of Community Leaders in Maintaining Harmonization of People's Lives in Batu Mas Village, Nanga Tayap District, Ketapang Regency". A common problem in this study is "How is the role of community leaders in maintaining the harmonization of people's lives in Batu Mas Village, Nanga Tayap District, Ketapang Regency?". The general purpose in this study is "To find out how the role of community leaders in maintaining the harmonization of people's lives in Batu Mas Village, Nanga Tayap Subdistrict, Ketapang Regency". The approach used in this study is qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interview guides, and documentation. The informants in this study are community leaders such as village heads, religious leaders, indigenous leaders, and educators in Batu Mas Village, Nanga Tayap Subdistrict, Ketapang Regency. The results of this study show that there is a role as a mobilizer, as a motivator and as an example of each community leader in an effort to maintain the harmonization of people's lives in Batu Mas Village.Keywords: Role of Community Leaders, Harmonization of Life, Society

AbstractThis thesis entitled "The Role of Parents in the Continuation of School-Age Education (Study on Grade IX Children at SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya)". The problem in this study is "How the Role of Parents in the Sustainability of School Age Education SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya)? ”. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative research form. The data source of this research is class IX students and the data was obtained from the head of administration at SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya, after the data was collected, they asked about the children's problems related to their parents. continuity of education for school age children. The results of the study 1) Parents can think that the importance of formal education for their children so that it can prevent children from dropping out of school 2) Provide better education, provide motivation and become 3) Facilitators for them in educational matters even though it is all necessary It is a long process, sometimes children do not want to be forced into the character building process. AbstractThis research is entitled "The Role of the Forbest Community of Transvestites in Actualizing Existence in Teluk Keramat District, Sambas Regency. The aim of the study was to describe the role of the Forbest community administrator as a coach, the role of the board in directing and the role of the board as a role model. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. The data sources used are primary sources and secondary data sources. Data management and analysis techniques go through three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the role of administrators as coaches in actualizing their existence is by fostering skills independence, providing training that contains additional knowledge members can live independently and be creative in thinking. (2) the role of the board in directing members of the transgender Forbset community by providing guidance and giving guidance through debriefing skills and providing motivation in helping members develop their potential.
