Abstract

AbstractThe title of this research was "Development of Manners Characters of Students in MAN 1Mempawah". The general problem of this research was how to develop the character of students' decorum in MAN 1 Mempawah, with sub-problems (1) How do teachers provide knowledge of character education in manners (2) What were the forms of student implementation in developing manners characters (3) How to habituate the character of student manners. This study aims to find out the development of the character of student manners, especially knowledge of manners character, in the form of the implementation of students in the development of character of manners and the habituation of the character education of students' manners. The type of research used was qualitative with descriptive analysis method. The data collection tool uses observation guides, interview guides, and documentation. The results of the study show that (1) the teacher provides knowledge of character education in good decorum. This is evident in every teaching and learning activity the teacher always offends or gives character to manners. For example on integration in subjects. (2) The form of student implementation in the development of manners  of character runs well. This is evident with students having implemented or applied the character knowledge that the teacher's board gave them. Examples of students implementing it in three stages, namely learning activities or integration in subjects, integration in self development programs and development of school culture. (3) Habitual character of student manners is as expected. This is evidenced by students who are accustomed to saying and behaving politely, can make other people feel valued and respected, not arrogant to others. Example of habituating students' manners through five activities namely conditioning, routine activities, spontaneity, exemplary activities, and program activities. Keywords: Character Education, Manners, MAN Students

Abstract

AbstractThe problems in this research are the casual factors of social conflict among grade IX students in SMPN 3 Sungai Raya. The research method is descriptive qualitative form. The research used documentation technique with data collection tool in the form of interview guideline. The interview result concluded that communication is the factor of social conflict among students grade IX in SMPN 3 Sungai Raya. Students tend to be wrong in communicating and interacting. The class structure is a casual factor of social conflict among students’ grade IX students in SMPN 3 Sungai Raya. The factor of structure in the classroom are still part of the factors causing conflict among students in the classroom, judging by the attitude of students who prefer to get along with who can help in school affairs. Personality factors causing social conflicts among students grade IX in SMPN 3 Sungai Raya. Different personality with others, who have a quiet personality difficult in socializing, other than that there is a personality who likes to seek attention in school because of lack of attention from family and school.Keywords: Social Conflict, Junior High School Students

Abstract

AbstractThe title of the study "Analysis of the Role of Teachers in Overcoming the Delinquency of Class X Students in Learning Sociology at MA Matla'ul Anwar Pontianak" Helps Teach Teachers' Role as Guides, Role of Teachers as Guides at MA Matla'ul Anwar Pontianak. The research method used is qualitative. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data sources of this study were Sociology teachers and Social Sciences class X MA MA Matla'ul Anwar Pontianak students. The results of this study indicate that the teacher has facilitated overcoming the delinquency of students in class X IPS I. The role of the manager is that the teacher creates a conducive class before learning begins. The teacher also helps students who provide guidance to students who do delinquency. Then, the teacher also acts as a motivator, namely the teacher provides motivation and encourages motivation for students who commit delinquency. Keywords: Teacher Role, Sociology, Learnin Student Delinquency

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this thesis is "The Analysis of Abberant Behavior to the Students Who Addicted to Playing Online Games in SMPN 01 Sebawi Sambas Regency". The general problem in this study is how the abberant behavior to the students who addicted to playing online games at SMPN 01 Sebawi, Sambas Regency?. The purpose of this study was to determine the forms of abberant behavior in students who are addicted to playing online games and deviant behavior factors of students who are addicted to playing online games. The writer used is qualitative approach and descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. This study analysis is writer in descriptive which use 7 informants who consisting of social studies teachers of class VII C and VIII A, parents of one of the informants who stole, a cafe keeper, and three students who have abberant behavior due to addiction to playing games online. The results of this study show that students who addicted to playing online games do the abberant action a nonconform abberant behavior namely insulting, fighting, skipping school and lying. Beside there is informants do the abberant behavior that is antisocial namely introverted behavior (closed). In addition, one of the student informants who addicted to playing online games also stole his father's savings to buy diamond games online. As the result the factors that influence the students who addicted to playing online games such are the factor lack of control from parents and the second is a peer factor.Keywords: Abberant Behavior, Addicted to Playing Online Games, Students.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the forms of students’ cooperation in sociology instruction at SMA Darut Tauhid Sungai Raya. The method used in this study was descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data were collected using observation, interviews, and documentary study techniques. The analysis was presented descriptively by involving five informants, which comprised one teacher of a sociology subject and four students of class XI. The findings showed that the forms of the cooperation were seen when a student spontaneously lent his or her book to another who did not bring theirs, explained the material that was not understood by classmates, and reprimanded his or her classmates when they ate or slept during the class. As direct cooperation in class, the teacher instructed the students to form a group discussion and thus created interaction and cooperation between the members. The form of traditional cooperation was seen from mutual help in resolving the difficulties working on assignment. This is cooperation, students can give each other explanations for materials that are not understood by their classmates.  Keywords :  Cooperation, Students, Sociology Instructions.

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this research is analysis of social relations in “forest honey bee farmers in viilage Batu Rawan subdistrict Selimbau” A common problem in this study is how social relations of forest honey bee farmers in subdistrict Batu Rawan Selimbau district. With sub problem first How social relation of honeybee farmer forest in viilage Batu Rawan sub-district Selimbau in cooperation, second how social relations in honeybee Farmer forest in Batu Rawan district Selimbau in the form of accommodation. This research aims to know the social relations form of cooperation and accommodation on honeybee farmers in Batu Rawan Selimbau district. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis. Data collection tools are using observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation tools. The results of this research are first Social relations form of cooperation on forest honeybee  farmer, seen at the father of Sarip and Hermansyah in implementing social relations form of cooperation that is to cooperate in contract and work Equally traditional. Second social relations in the form of accommodation on the forest honeybee farmer, seen in the Father Jakaria, Abang Diham, and Sukardi in implementing social relations form the accommodation is being compromises, arbitrage and tolerance. Keywords: Social Relations, Bee Farmers, Cooperation and Accommodation

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this thesis is "Analysis of Active Learning Styles of Students in Sociology Learning in Class XI of IIS 1 SMA KemalaBhayangkari". The problems of this research are (1) how, and (2) the factors which effect type of student’s learning style which is active in learning sociology. The purpose of this research to know about those problems about the researcher used kualitatif method which descriptive research and the participants of this research are six students of class XI IIS 1. The tools that used to collect the data are observation, interview and documentation. The result of this research are (type of students learning style are visual, auditorial, and kinestik). The students that used visual and auditorial learning style are MT and VI, but they more dominan to used visual. The students that used visual, auditorial, kinestik are AD, DS, RS and UN, but they more dominan to used auditorial learning style. (2) they are two factors which effect the students learning style are physical (health and disability) and psychological (about the relationship between the students and the people around them).Keywords:Active Learning, Learning Sociology Learning Style

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to determine the process and impact of social changes in the Sentana village tourism area community, Tanjung Sekayam of Sanggau District. This research used the descriptive method, in the form of qualitative research. The data source of this research was the community in the tourist area of Sentana village. the data were obtained through the interview, observation, and documentation technique. The data collection tools used are the guidelines for observation and interview, and documentation tools. The analysis in this study was presented in descriptive qualitative, involving 6 informants. Based on the analysis, it was found that (1) the process of social change occurring in the community was caused by the presence of a new idea of the local community to make their village a tourist area. This idea was communicated through an open forum and received good support from the community regarding new innovations for Sentana village. (2) the process of social change has both positive and negative effects. The positive impacts that occurred are increases in the ease of community activities, social integration, community quality, social mobility, and community mindset. The shortcomings, however, are conflicts occurred between the individual retailer, as well as environmental pollution in the tourist area of Kampung Sentana. Keywords :  Sentana Village, Social Changes
