Abstract

Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan status gizi adalah asupan zat gizi, tingkat pendidikan formal ibu, tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi dan kesehatan, dan pendapatan keluarga. Secara tidak langsung asupan zat gizi dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik ibu. Karakteristik ibu juga ikut dalam menentukan keadaan gizi anak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan status gizi balita usia 6-60 bulan di Kelurahan Kuto Batu Kecamatan Ilir Timur II Kota Palembang tahun 2011. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat survey analitik dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian Cross Sectional study yaitu variabel terikat (dependen) dan variabel bebas (independen) diukur dan diamati pada waktu yang bersamaan. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 838 balita. Sampel berjumlah 86 balita, di wilayah Kuto Batu Kecamatan Ilir Timur II Kota Palembang yang dilakukan selama 2 minggu (07 Maret 2011- 18 Maret 2011). Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Chi-Square untuk membuktikan adanya beberapa faktor yang berhubungan dengan status gizi balita pada α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pendidikan ibu yang berpendidikan dasar (61,6%), sebagian besar tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi dan kesehatan balita masih kurang (64,0%), sebagian besar tingkat pendapatan keluarga masih rendah (68,6%), sebagian besar asupan energi balita sudah baik (73,3%), dan sebagian besar asupan protein balita sudah baik (74,4%). Setelah dilakukan uji Chi-square, maka didapat bahwa ada hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan ibu, tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi dan kesehatan, tingkat pendapatan keluarga, serta asupan zat gizi energi dan protein dengan status gizi balita, di mana p_value < 0,05. Untuk meningkatkan status gizi balita usia 06-60 bulan di Kelurahan Kuto Batu Kecamatan Ilir Timur II Kota Palembang diperlukan perhatian khusus dari petugas gizi puskesmas kenten untuk memberikan penyuluhan tentang pentingnya gizi dan bagaimana cara pemenuhan gizi tersebut tanpa mengeluarkan biaya yang besar. Diharapkan ada penelitian lebih lanjut yang lebih bervariasi dan mencakup penelitian yang lebih luas terutama yang berhubungan dengan status gizi.

Abstract

Anak sekolah merupakan generasi penerus bangsa dan merupakan modal pembangunan, oleh karena itu tingkat kesehatannya perlu dibina dan ditingkatkan. Berbagai alasan seringkali menyebabkan anak tidak sempat sarapan pagi di rumah yang akhirnya akan membentuk suatu kebiasan jajan di sekolah, secara umum jajanan yang dijual pedagang kaki lima di sekolah dasar kualitasnya sangat memprihatinkan bila ditinjau dari aspek kesehatan Maka untuk mengurangi paparan anak sekolah terhadap makanan jajanan yang tidak sehat dan tidak aman perlu dilakukan usaha promosi keamanan pangan terutama kepada murid sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyuluhan gizi dengan menggunakanan metode ceramah dan leaflet terhadap perilaku memilih makanan jajanan murid di SD Negeri Kelurahan Sako Palembang tahun 2012. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Experiment) dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian pre test dan post test dengan kelompok kontrol, , waktu penelitian selama 3 bulan. Yang menjadi sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas V dan VI dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yang ditentukan.Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat, dengan uji statistik paired t test dan independent test pada tingkat kepercayaan 95 % dan derajat kemaknaan 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden berjenis kelamin laki-laki, rentang umur 9 – 13 tahun, ada pengaruh penyuluhan gizi metode ceramah dan leaflet terhadap pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan murid sekolah dasar dalam memilih makanan jajanan dengan p= 0,035, p= 0,020,dan p = 0,010 berturut-turut. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penyuluhan dengan metode ceramah dan leaflet berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan perilaku memilih makanan jajanan murid. Disarankan kepada pihak sekolah memberikan pendidikan dasar dan pengawasan secara aktif mengenai makanan atau jajanan yang baik dikonsumsi dan tidak, serta perlu pengawasan di sekitar lingkungan sekolah akan jajanan yang bergizi dan tidak bergizi.

Diharapkan ada penelitian lebih lanjut yang lebih bervariasi dan mencakup penelitian yang lebih luas terutama yang berhubungan dengan status gizi.

Abstract

Persepsi pasien pada pelayanan rumah sakit dapat kepuasan pasien. Persepsi pasien yang baik akan memberikan kepuasan yang baik pula demikian dengan sebaliknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kepuasan pasien rawat inap terhadap penampilan dan cita rasa makanan lunak di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan rancangan Cross Sectional. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penampilan makanan yang disajikan kurang (87,3%).cita rasa makanan yang disajikan kurang (100%). kepuasan pasien terhadap makanan yang disajikan menyatakan tidak puas (56,7%) dan puas (43,3%). sisa makanan pokok kategori banyak sebesar (86,7%),lauk hewani(16,7%), lauk nabati (60%), sayuran (70%) dan buah ( 6,7%). tingkat kepuasan pasien terhadap penyajian makanan lunak di rumah sakit masih kurang.

Abstract

Background: Anemia caused by iron deficiency is a common medical condition experienced by adolescent girls. Providing high-protein and iron-rich foods, such as chicken liver nuggets and red spinach, can serve as an alternative snack for individuals with anemia, given in a portion of 120 grams per day. Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of administering chicken liver nuggets and red spinach on the increase in hemoglobin levels in anemic adolescent girls at SMA Negeri 19 Palembang. Methods: This study employed a quasi-experimental design using a two-group pretest-posttest approach. The sample consisted of 50 anemic adolescent girls, divided into two groups. The treatment group received chicken liver and red spinach nuggets, while the control group received commercial chicken nuggets, through simple random sampling. The intervention was conducted over 10 days. Data analysis was performed using paired t-tests and independent t-tests to assess significant differences between groups. Results: The mean hemoglobin level in the treatment group before the intervention was 10.98 g/dL, which increased to 12.99 g/dL after the intervention, with an increase of 2 g/dL. Based on the independent t-test, there was a significant difference in the mean hemoglobin level between the treatment and control groups, amounting to 1.23 g/dL and a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Conclusion: The administration of chicken liver nuggets and red spinach significantly increases hemoglobin levels in anemic adolescent girls at SMA Negeri 19 Palembang.

In South Sumatra Province, the prevalence of CED among pregnant women was reported at 4.2% in 2022. CED increases the risk of various maternal and fetal complications, highlighting the need for effective nutritional interventions. Cornfish nuggets, made from snakehead fish and corn, are a local food-based supplementary product rich in energy and protein that may improve nutrient intake, mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC), and body weight among pregnant women with CED. Objective: This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of Cornfish nugget supplementation on nutrient intake, mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC), and body weight among pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED). Methods: A quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design was conducted among 56 pregnant women with CED, who were assigned to either an intervention group or a control group (n=28 each). The intervention group received 200 g/day of Cornfish nuggets for 14 days. Nutrient intake, MUAC, and body weight were measured before and after the intervention and analyzed using a paired t-test and an independent t-test. Results: Cornfish nugget supplementation for 14 days significantly increased nutrient intake (p<0.05). Improvements in MUAC and body weight were observed in the intervention group following the intervention. Weight gain was higher in the intervention group than in the control group (0.48 kg vs 0.21 kg; p<0.05), whereas the increase in MUAC did not differ significantly between groups (p>0.05). Conclusion: Cornfish nuggets were effective in improving nutrient intake and body weight among pregnant women with CED; however, they did not demonstrate a significant effect on increasing MUAC during the 14-day intervention period.
