Abstract

The governor is an essential position in the Indonesian constitution. Governors also play an important role in political stability in Indonesia. In Law No. 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government it is stated in Article 1 paragraph 3 that the Governor / Regional Government is the Head of the Region as an element of regional government administration that leads the implementation of government affairs which are the authority of the autonomous region, it is emphasized again in Article 4 paragraph 1 that the Region Apart from having the status of a Region, the Province is also an Administrative Region which is the working area for the governor as the representative of the central government and the working area for the governor in carrying out general government affairs in the Province Region. As a representative of the central government in the region, the governor is considered a position that is less effective, plus the APBN funds spent to finance his performance are said to be quite large as a representative of the central government. So that this becomes a discourse in the community about the effectiveness of the governorship.

Abstract

Dynastic politics is actually just a term in political science which means the process of directing the regeneration of power for the interests of certain groups with the aim of gaining or maintaining power in a country. In democratic countries, this term often appears, even though in democratic countries, power is in the hands of the people, which is where the term dynastic politics first appeared. is when royal power or absolute monarchy, where power is passed on/inherited from the previous ruler to the next ruler. Indonesia is a country that has a democratic system, namely sovereignty is in the hands of the people, this is in accordance with the preamble to the 1945 Constitution, a fragment of the fourth paragraph which states "then the independence of the Indonesian nation was formulated in a Constitution of the State of Indonesia, which was formed in the structure of the Republic of Indonesia. Indonesia has the sovereignty of the people, but in reality there are a handful of people who have influence and power in a region, giving rise to the ambition that with power, business and family interests can be secured, because the high price of political dowry when wanting to become a public official in Indonesia results in only people It is true that certain people can become officials, it is true that it is the people who determine the winning vote in a democratic country, but it should be noted that Money Politics still applies, from the ruler who is elected and has good prestige, this results in the ruler holding a great legacy so that family and close people can also enjoy it. as a Privilege.

Abstract

The implementation of good governance principles plays a crucial role in improving the quality of public policy and strengthening local democracy in the era of regional autonomy. Lamongan Regency, as one of the developing regions in East Java Province, has demonstrated various efforts to establish good governance through enhanced transparency, accountability, public participation, and innovation in public services. This study aims to analyze the implementation of good governance in the formulation and implementation of public policies and its implications for strengthening local democracy in Lamongan Regency. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected through document analysis, observation, and examination of government policy documents and performance reports. The analysis was conducted using the perspectives of good governance, public policy, and local democracy. The findings indicate that the Lamongan Regency Government has implemented good governance principles through improved public service systems, information transparency, and community involvement in regional development planning. However, public participation in the policy-making process remains largely procedural and has not yet reached a substantive level. In addition, the influence of local political elites in policy formulation continues to pose challenges to broader public representation. The study concludes that the implementation of good governance has positively contributed to improving public policy quality and strengthening local democracy in Lamongan Regency. Nevertheless, greater efforts are needed to strengthen public participation mechanisms, enhance community capacity, and optimize transparency and accountability to foster a more inclusive, participatory, and sustainable local democracy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan peranan Pancasila sebagai pedoman pandangan hidup bangsa. Pancasila merupakan dasar negara Indonesia yang termuat dalam Pembukaan UUD 1945, artinya setiap hal-hal dalam konteks penyelenggaraan negara harus sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila, diantara hal-hal tersebut seperti peraturan, perundang-undangan, pemerintahan, sistem demokrasi, dan lain sebagainya. Pancasila harus dijunjung tinggi karena Pancasila itu adalah pandangan hidup pedoman dan ideologi negara, oleh karena itu kita sebagai warga Indonesia harus berpegang teguh pada nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam Pancasila. Banyak oknum-oknum yang tidak bertanggung jawab yang telah melanggar nilai-nilai Pancasila, oleh sebab itu kita sebagai warga negara Indonesia yang baik harus ikut andil dalam menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai Pancasila. Semoga dengan adanya penelitian ini diharap banyak pihak-pihak masyarakat yang sadar akan pentingnya Pancasila sebagai pedoman pandangan hidup bangsa.

Abstract

Balun Village in Turi sub-district, Lamongan Regency, known as a Pancasila Village, is one example of religious abstinence based on local wisdom. The aims of study are to:(1) identify the implementation of Pancasila Village as a demonstrate for devout control, (2) get it the points of view and parts of devout and community pioneers related to Pancasila Village, and (3) create the village as a demonstrate for devout control. This study was conducted in Baran Village employing a subjective approach. Information collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, documentation, and perception with key witnesses, and youth pioneers. The discoveries demonstrate that: 1) The implementation of Pancasila Village in Lamongan has succeeded through mutual tolerance and not the imposition of religious beliefs. 2) Religious and community leaders in Baran Village effectively communicate and prioritize common interface. 3) An interesting finding is the existence of a multi-religious grave digging team in the village.

Abstract

Regional autonomy in Lamongan Regency plays a very important role in strengthening local democracy and ensuring that the resulting public policies are responsive to the needs of the community. In this context, the active participation of the community in the policy-making process is the key to achieving the goal of effective and sustainable regional autonomy. Strengthening the capacity of local governments, along with community involvement in decision-making, is indispensable to achieve equitable and sustainable development. The successful implementation of regional autonomy in Lamongan Regency is expected to be a model for other regions in increasing community participation and the quality of public services. Collaboration between local governments and communities not only strengthens regional autonomy, but also supports sustainable development throughout Indonesia. Aspects of transparency and accountability that are improved through effective regional autonomy are important factors in creating good governance. The research methods used in this study include a qualitative descriptive approach to explore the dynamics of community participation and the effectiveness of regional autonomy policies in Lamongan Regency. This study aims to analyze how community participation can increase the effectiveness of regional autonomy policies and support sustainable development in Lamongan Regency. . The efficient application of information technology will strengthen participatory planning practices and encourage community involvement in every stage of development. Therefore, strengthening community capacity through training and socialization of information technology is an important step to achieve more effective and sustainable regional autonomy in Lamongan Regency
